So done with Aspen Dental. They are lying about confirming appointments. I never received emails, text messages or phone calls to confirm appointment. And then you show up , they say it’s cancelled because you never confirmed.

This place is such a joke!My husband had wisdom teeth pulled, and this is the cheapest place with our insurance to go to. So they said with his insurance it would be only $700 out of pocket. My husband paid the $700 before his operation. We get there the day of the surgery they ask for an additional $100 on top of which we did not know why. Whatever, we paid the hundred dollars had the surgery done everything went well. A couple months later we get a bill from Aspen dental saying we owe them $1800. I called the Epping office with questions about the bill and the lady told me on the phone that they don’t submit The explanation of benefits over to the insurance , we were supposed to. Aren’t these people in the billing department getting paid for doing that? So I called the insurance, And they told me I needed to send them the explanation of benefits and that they would get right on it. I called a different Aspen dental and talk to a very nice lady who has way more helpful than the people in Epping. She told me that Aspen dental in Epping entered the insurance information incorrectly which made the insurance company deny the claim. Isn’t that nice that Aspen dental cannot call us back and let us know the insurance denied and/ or verify the information? She said that since I called the insurance and submitted the bill over to them that it showed up in the computer that it pending now. Only time will tell now what our actual bill will be from everything but still, what a huge inconvenience for this. I haven’t even gotten a call back from a message I left with questions about the bill. I would not recommend anyone to go to this place. They also did not seem very clean when I had went for a visit previously. These people seem very shady, they even told a family member that they needed for different teeth pulled and then when they went to a different dentist for a second opinion they said you absolutely did not need those teeth pulled. The only reason this got two stars is because your staff is polite.

Honestly I would give this office zero stars. BEWARE had my first exam and was told I had 2 cavities that needed filling ( exact quote from dentist) “ I can already stick the probe down into the cavities “ and then told I needed full mouth deep cleaning and root scaling to treat periodontal disease. I have always had exceptionally healthy teeth, but hadn’t been to a dentist since pre-Covid so ok . Had to call 3 times to get estimate. Finally get an estimate the day before the procedure was quoted almost 800$ after insurance just for cleaning, then another 109$ for fillings. Being a relatively educated person I decided to seek a second opinion. Went to Dr. Moon in Rochester NH ( amazing) and thank god I did I have zero cavities and only one small area that requires a deep cleaning. Total cost 129.00$ . I almost had 700$ worth of unnecessary dental work. Aspen Dental should be shut down. I fully plan on reporting them to the NH Dental Board. Shameful

I hadnt been to the dentists in quite some time as my dentists left practice. I was able to sign up with Aspen Dental online and get in. It was a quick process. All the new patient forms were available to be completed online and getting a quick appointment was easy.I was able to get an appointment within a week. Soon, I was getting all of my x-rays and getting my first evaluation. Now, I already have a treatment plan in place and already scheduled for a cleaning.Easy, quick, painless. Very nice!

I made an appointment at Aspen because I was told it was quick, convenient and easy. When I showed up for appointment I called to check in and was told that I had been called twice and voicemails had been left on my phone informing me my appointment needed to be rescheduled. I did not recall receiving any calls, voicemails, or text regarding this. I immediately checked my missed calls, voicemails, and texts to see if I had missed anything. There were no missed calls or voicemails. I confirmed with the person that she had my phone number and double checked theirs, re checked my missed calls and messages nothing. The person insisted she had personally left a voicemail on my phone. I don’t know what the confusion was but if they had called my phone it I would certainly have a missed call or message. Overall it was not easy, quick, or convenient.

Aspen has the most up to date equipment to use and are very through in their treatment for cleaning, X-ray treatment, and explanation about the patients needs. I was impressed about that. They were very generous with their samples and I learned I had a condition no dentist ever told me about before. However, the day after I had a cleaning and Xray there I had a big sore on the roof of my mouth and the other side of my mouth hurt some when i chewed. Dont know what caused that.

The place has amazing staff but the dentist and office manager is rude. I came here wanting to swap to this dental office for all of my visits. (Clear about that from the beginning) They put me in a disgusting room with paint falling off the wall and the tools they used were beat up, looked rusty and dirty. (I cleaned the mirror off when no one was in the room) and the ancient dental chair had a VERY dirty monitor mounted to it.. I sat in the room for two hours total and did not even get the service I scheduled. I went in for a cleaning and consult to pull a tooth. I spent those two hours and only got X-rays and the dentist told me I had 30 cavities...? (Second consultation at another place told me 3) after sitting in the chair for an hour the office manager sat me down and put a ~$7000 estimate to fix my teeth.. I was not going to do that after that experience.. I would go somewhere else but I need a tooth pulled ASAP. I will definitely not be back after this..

Absolutely worst experience.Went in for a filling a few months ago and it fell out while I was driving home. I called the office back to let them know what had happened and they told me it would be a few days for me to get back in. Luckily I was able to be squeezed in same day. Had a different dentist fix my tooth, however, that filling also fell out. I went to another dentist to have this checked out and was notified that they had drilled way too close to the root pulp and a root canal was recommended. After talking to the Epping office again, they informed me that they were only going to refund me for the filling and not fix my tooth or provide any more assistance on the matter. The office manager was abhorrently rude during our conversation. I’m still fighting for them to fix this problem. Not a single patient should have to pay for their mistake.Stay far away from this office.Update: Was supposed to receive a call from higher ups to resolve problem. Never received a phone call. Still fighting for them to fix their mess.

BEWARE! Im never going back.Went there for an x-ray and quick exam. The techs were friendly but the dentist seemed very rushed. He reviewed my x-rays and informed me that ALL of my fillings have to be re-filled. Despite my fillings being only 0 yrs - 8 years old, he said ALL have to be fixed, and on top of that, he counted numerous cavities as well. In total, he told me I had 20 re-fills & cavities. 20!?! I knew that was an absolute joke. I have sensitive teeth and chronic pulpitis. Dental work is not easy for my body to undergo. The health of my teeth was obviously not their priority. I was handed the $5,300+ estimate. Of course I went elsewhere. I went and saw a different dentist office. They took x-rays. This other dentist told me I had 4 teeth needing work. 4. Not 20.In my personal experience, Aspen Dental is driven by money and nothing else. Obviously their only concern is your wallet; not your health. Dont become a victim. Go elsewhere.

I arrived the next day at 350pm. I sat in the waiting room until 5 when I went up to the front desk and said something. 515 I finally get called back. X-ray tech was very nice. She said she understood my pain and theyd get it taken care of. She was very gentle as she did the x-rays. I was brought back to a room so they could do the free exam they offer. The Dr then tells me I have some cavities and their schedule lady will figure out a time for me to come back in. I said wait a min, I came to have a tooth pulled, Im in a lot of pain. I was then told they didnt have time to do that. There were other patients waiting. I then again said that this was the whole purpose of my visit. I was in a lot of pain. The Dr then said he could give me an antibiotic. Why would I want an antibiotic when I dont have an infection? That wouldnt do anything for an exposed nerve. The Dr had nothing to say to thatVery upset, very angry and very much still in pain

I brought my 12 year old daughter to Aspen Dental this morning, she has a huge cavity in one of her molars. After waiting for the dentist to come in and assess the tooth we were told either the tooth needs a root canal the a cap or to be extracted. When I explained that I do not have dental insurance and would be paying out of pocket and that I would most likely have to have her tooth pulled I was told there was nothing they could do, we were given a blank referral and that was it. After we got back into the car I called another dental office which luckily could see us right away. Once at the other dental office we were told that my daughter has a massive infection in her tooth and would need antibiotics before anything could be done. WHY DIDN’T ASPEN SEE THIS? My daughter could have gotten really sick!

My mother was treated by Aspen Dental in Epping for a partial dental plate. She was given the option of a partial plate, or having all of her teeth extracted and a full plate. Due to the cost, she opted for the partial plate, at $885.00. After the work was completed and paid for, she was told that the plate she received is a temporary plate, and it would need to be replaced in 6 months with either a permanent partial or full plate, at an additional expense. The partial plate she received has a big white replacement tooth sticking out in front of the others, and attaches to a tooth that is cracked. They will not repair or fill the tooth that the plate is attached too. We feel that the partial plate she received is not acceptable. Also, the options available to her, along with the cost, were not fully explained prior to treatment. It was expected that the amount which she paid in full was all that was needed. She was not informed that this was temporary, and there would be an additional expense of $900-$1200 for the permanent plate. Contacting an attorney.

This place is absolute trash. I went here to get a sensitive tooth checked and after a long wait in the chair the doctor comes in and examines my teeth and X-rays. He then told me I had 9 cavities and sent me back out to the clerk. She then handed me a quote for the fillings that was over 2200 dollars. So obviously I went and got a second opinion from an different dentist. Upon a second Examination, it was found that I only have 3 cavities and none of them were on the tooth that the aspen dental dentist said had 3. Total scam. Will never return.

They called no one for us, left him with 2 broken teeth and one half ripped out. Severe swelling, and excruciating pain. Gave no antibiotics, just some pain meds, all on a Friday afternoon. I had a brutal toothache and hadnt been to the dentist in quite a few years. My wife called the Epping, NH Aspen Dental to attempt to get an appointment for me. It was a Friday, and they took me in the next day, which was Saturday. I couldnt believe it. They called my name before I even finished my paper work. A hygienist walked me into a room, for an X-ray. I was in agony, and being the baby that I am, no X-rays were taken. The Doctor then wanted to look in my mouth, and that wasnt happening. She saw swelling in my neck, and wrote a prescription for an antibiotic. I had an abscess and it hurt like hell. It felt much better that night from the meds I took for it. I made another appointment a few days later, and had X-rays taken, an exam, and I was told what needed to be done if I wanted to do it. I have dental insurance but not enough (not even close) benefits to cover everything. Jamie, in the office got the rest of what I would be responsible for financed in literally a few minutes, and explained it to me like the 5 year old that I am, and asked me if I wanted to do it. I signed some paperwork, and made a couple of appointments to get my dental plan going. I did apologize for my attitude to anyone I was rude/childish towards on my initial (painful abscess) visit on a SATURDAY (still cant believe that one). Everyone was gracious and understood why I was acting the way I did. I cant thank them (or recommend them) enough for their understanding, their kindness, and professionalism, and the thorough way my dental plan was explained to me. They are all very nice, and personable, and they all have a great sense of humor, as I joked with them about certain procedures. If my next appointment wasnt something that I absolutely could do without if it wasnt necessary, Id actually be looking forward to it. Great people that would be fun to hang out with on a social basis too. So far I give them a 5 star rating, but its up to Dr. Yadav, and the rest of the staff to keep that 5 star rating next Saturday with the procedures that I have to undergo that day. Im sure they will be gentle. The complete rating is to be determined after my next visit. I really hope they keep that rating, for my sake.

Well....10-15 minutes later and nothing, although more people were called in, (again) having arrived after me. I was absolutely livid by 2:20, so I walked out. I finally was getting dental insurance after not having any for about 15 years so I was excited to be able to look forward to go back to the dentist after so many years of not being able to go. Someone suggested Aspen Dental to me. I knew my insurance wasnt going to take effect until July 1st but I was having a sensitivity (to cold and hot in a tooth and I was told by my friend that the first appointment at Aspen is free. About a week and a half before the end of June I decided to call Aspen and just be straight with them and let them know what was going on.The receptionist was very polite and understood that my dental insurance did not go into effect until July 1st. I told her that I had a sensitive tooth that I needed to see about and if that is something that needs immediate attention, Id like to see if I can get it taken care of before I go to Ohio on July the 8th. She said since the first appointment is free so she could get me in the following week for the initial x-rays and a consultation with the doctor because of the sensitive tooth.I went in the following Tuesday (June 20th) for the first appointment. I learned what needed to be done for dental repairs, which I did not think was extensive. At that appointment the office manager there met with me and threw out a random figure of $2,293.00 for an estimated cost to do all of the dental work that needed to be done in my mouth and told me that it was their policy for me to pay 60% up front. note: I had read that policy and signed the paperwork for it, however, that was prior to my knowledge of my what my dental insurance was going to cover. I told the office manager that I would go to my HR person at work and find out how much coverage I have and I would get back to her.I went to my HR person and did all of my legwork and got all of the info I needed and returned to the Aspen office on June 26th. On the prior visit when I met with the office manager she insisted that I would need a dental card and I said I didnt think so. I said that I thought it was just my regular Cigna health care and it says on your cite that you take Cigna. She insisted that I should get a separate dental card in the mail. When I went back I spoke with the receptionist at the front desk and told and showed her the following information. My HR person at work printed out info showing that NO separate card is needed. My HR person also told me that I do not pay anything up front. She also printed that info out for me. Fillings are covered 80%, cleanings are covered 100% etc... The receptionist said, Its not OUR policy, Its Aspen Dental Managements. If You follow it, then Its YOUR policy! That receptionist took a copy of my Cigna card and I told her that I would at the very least like to have that ONE filling (of the sensitive tooth) drilled and fixed prior to my going on vacation on July 8th) She wrote that down on my file and told me that day that someone would enter my info into the computer and that someone would call me to set up an appointment to make that happen. It is now the 5th and no one has called me. My husband called on the 3rd and left a message about making an appointment and still no one has called me back.I have excellent dental coverage. I don not understand Aspens policy about paying 60% up front if I have dental coverage that pays 80%. If I am only responsible for 20%, then why am I being asked to pay for 60%. AND why was I handed a random figure of $2, 293.00 and not an itemized bill for my dental work/repairs that needed to be done.Needless to say, I am not happy with Aspen Dental so far.

Had an 8 am appt. first time patient, was told to be there 10-15 mins early which we were, Sat in waiting room with the tv blasting, finished paperwork, was called 8:19 for xrays @ 5 mins then sent to a room for vitals and questions, @ 5 mins, was told the Dr would be in soon...... Tech came back @ 8:40 stated the Dr shouldnt be much longer she was doing a procedure, Dr comes in 8:50 and my wife stated it took so long we were about to leave and the Dr ignored her comment and Asked me what brings me in today, I stated my wife and I were looking for a Dentist for our needs, and we been here @ 1 hr she stated we couldnt of been here that long cause they dont even open up til 8 am, I then said I was here at 7:50 had the paperwork done by 8 and wasnt called til 8:19 and she is now coming in at 8:50. She proceeded to tell us why it takes so long and that it was normal for it to take that long. At this point being frustrated instead of calming me she kept making excuses for why it takes so long, we stated we were done and leaving she said suit yourself. We were not impress with the overall visit of the staff and or Doctor, we were not made to feel comfortable or welcomed, we felt like they were doing us a favor even seeing us. For this I gave a 0-1 star rating

Apsen dental usually gets alot of negative feedback...but in the years I have been going there , I have had good service.I use to go to the one in Manchester while I generally had a good experience there, however some of thier desk staff had the personality of a door knob...The Epping visit was great tho! Needed to have a tooth pulled , walked in no apt .They originally were going to have to make me wait a week for the extraction. They managed to slip me in same day! Amazing! Very thankful and the staff I talked to werw great as well...no door knobs!!! Thank you Epping Aspen dental!

I love the dentist and all the office staff. The lady that cleaned my teeth was exceptionally kind and careful. The dentist is efficient, friendly, and puts me at ease. This is the first office I have ever been to and felt like the listened, cared, and most of all were doing their best for me.Highly recommended!!
