This was my first visit. I was greeted promptly by friendly staff. In the exam room, the staff was friendly and upbeat, yet very professional. X-rays were taken, my teeth were cleaned, my gums were checked, and my mouth was screened for early cancer signs. I had a chip in a front tooth, so I stopped at the front desk to make an appointment. To my surprise, they were able to give me an immediate appointment! Again, the treatment was stellar.

Horrible ~ I would give them zero stars if possible. From the moment I walked in they were pressing me on antibiotics and why I was allergic to penicillin. I explained and they asked me if I can take an alternative. I said, why are we discussing this, I am here for a cleaning? First it was the Lab tech taking my X-rays. Absolutely no reason he should have asked me this. Then the hygienist asked the same thing ~ all before my examination. They wanted to push a scaling over what I was there for ~ a cleaning! They wouldn’t do the cleaning at all. It was pay more for the scaling or nothing. Walked out. I never even saw a Dentist! No Dentist with a degree saw me or weighed in on this hygienists ‘opinion’.

Amazing bed side manner. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable team. So welcoming.Thank you Megan for explaining the financial side of things in such detail. My 8 year old met with Dr Ava today for the first time and we already have our solution. I’m so thankful for this practice and wish I found them years ago!

I am so satisfied with my experience here, the front desk is super flexible and helpful with scheduling and very caring! Dr. Ava did a fantastic job with my teeth, I highly recommend!!

Everyone was pleasant and helpful from front desk to the dentist except for the lady that cleaned my teeth. She was in a hurry , talked very fast I could barely understand her. I felt she was rough and I don’t mind a deep cleaning! Not a warm experience from her at all!

They are so nice! They explain everything to you the cost of processes. My next appointment was made for next week too! Wow! Not months later!

I arrived at the Ephrata facility with a concern that the staff would judge me for not having dental care for 25 years. Instead Emily, the hygienist put me completely at ease. She described the procedures they were going to perform and went to work with x-Ray’s and then a thorough examination. Emily applied a numbing gel and went to work with one hour of cleaning. She was humming a song while working which further put me at ease.The only negative was my insurance coverage which left me with a large personal responsibility. Still a great experience thanks to the staff.

I have been going to dentists since my baby teeth, and now Im 70. Since moving to Pa. Ive tried 3 other dentists and was never happy. I have finally found the best dental practice to which I have ever gone! Everyone is smiling and cheerful, not phoney. I had cavities taken care of with a laser, no pain, no Novocain! I feel like I walked out of a science fiction movie! If I knew about them sooner, I would have traveled from N.J. to go to them!

By far, the absolute best experience I have ever had at a dental office from greeting to good bye! I would 100% recommend to anyone!

What a great place full of great people. Everything from intake, to dental hygienist, to imaging, to the dentist, to checkout was first class. Professional, friendly, efficient. The place was clean, modern, and very well organized. A special shout out to my dental hygienist, Melissa. She was amazing!

Horrible horrible!!! I had a SEVERE infection in my back tooth and was put on clindamyacin (an antibiotic) hence infection. I was 8 and a half months at the time and was prescribed that antibiotic to not let the infection spread. I told them then to submit to medical. I get a letter in the mail that I was sent to collections so I called and left a voicemail and got nothing in return. My insurance company called 3 weeks ago and left a message and didn’t hear back. I called back and Crystal answered which I told her my insurance is saying they entered the wrong billing code for the INFECTED tooth and she told me I didn’t have an infection and they are just billing an extraction because they don’t bill medical. This was never told to me. ALL LIES. I asked to speak to the owner and she told me she won’t return my call. Look elsewhere please. Ridiculous stay far away from this scam dental office.

Very nice and friendly staff! They went through everything they were doing and showed me the x-rays and photos. I have some leftover dentist anxiety from childhood, so the way they walked through the procedure, made light jokes and conversation really helped.

I think everyone there are really great. But I am very disappointed with the dentures I got from them. After a year it is still very painful to eat. It’s a shame they cost so much. Because now I have to go somewhere else and pay out of my pocket and get some that will fit better and not hurt so much

My experience here has always been great and I’m always extremely happy leaving the office. I know we are in different times. I will say I am disappointed in the fact that each patient is responsible of a $10 COVID safety measures charge this is something I personally don’t agree with. I do understand taking precautions during these times but the charging for them just isn’t right especially at $10 a person!!! Unreal!!! Please know nothing was mentioned to me about this fee when I was called about the safety measures and instructions I was given for the day of my appointment. The fact that it was disclosed only in the questionnaire that was sent to me through a text. As well, not to mention I’m paying for these measures and staff isn’t wearing the PPE/MASK properly! A mask is only effective if worn up over the nose not below the nose!! So yes, it’s disappointing knowing I as a patient am paying what you call a “COVID safety measures fee” but your staff isn’t fully practicing those measures!! So I hope my $10 is being used towards some education!!

I was in for my first appointment. The staff is very polite, and they do not waste their patients time. I would highly reccomend anybody who is looking for a new dentist to make an appointment.

Had my 6 mo cleaning and check-up today. Exceeded all expectations! Hygienist was thorough and friendly, new dentist (can’t remember her name) and staff, are awesome! Will definitely recommend, have already mentioned to my husband to switch to FDE. 👍

This was the most wonderful experience Ive ever had at a dentists office ever! From making that 1st appointment to my first visit, I never was made to feel like a bad person because of the way my mouth was. The dentist and her staff were so pleasant and helpful and made me feel good when I left there. They fixed me all up within 48 hours and I left after my 2nd visit with a confidence that I havent had in a long time. I have been telling everyone about my awesome experience! First time there because of my move. All the workers are sweet and caring. One of the best dentist experiences Ive had.

I just moved to Ephrata a few weeks from Indiana and had a strange lump on my gums that I wanted to get checked out. I called Family Dentistry of Ephrata, explained my situation and was offered appointment in the next 15 minutes. I was more than an hour so I had to take a later appointment, but they made sure to accommodate my schedule. Once I arrived and filled out the usual new patient information I was taken back to be examined and have a couple of X-rays. Dr. Clam explained the growth is called tori and nothing to be concerned about. I was in and out with paperwork, examine, X-rays and explanation in less than 20 minutes. In addition to the quick service, everyone was extremely friendly. I made an appointment to come back to have my teeth cleaned and will make them my regular dentist.
