I went to dr Sackey myself from newborn to age 15 and assumed I would have my kids the same since he himself is a wonderful dr! However the people he has working for them are inconsiderate and rude! Understanding Covid regulations and all the extra going on at this time, but Dr Sackey has been lenient with us since we moved over an hour away and we have telehealth visits until recently they needed an annual physical. We go into the office, and the lady at the front desk states she has to reschedule appt because they don’t have masks( No one addressed this over the phone & we drove over an hour away) Her excuse was they don’t go through everyone’s chart and we should’ve seen the signs on the office door… This is the same lady who wouldn’t send my daughters missing refill until Dr Sackey advised to do so. Most definitely our last visit! Dr. Sackey is wonderful but I can’t get past the rude workers and let alone the lady at the window who always has an attitude and her facial expressions tell it all✌️

Dr. Sackey and PA are great! They are very helpful and super informative, and great with my baby girl. But the front desk receptionist are very rude to the point I do not wish to return. I called to ask if I had left my daughters shoe in the room if someone could check for me. She said yes but clearly had an attitude, and that it would be at the front desk. I asked if someone could bring it to the back exit and I would grab it because it was raining and I didn’t wanna take the baby out in the rain again. Her words “ well I’m not getting wet“ and hung up. I never asked for anyone to come outside I just asked if they could bring it to the door so I didn’t have to take the baby out and walk all the way back inside. I definitely do not think I will be returning.

How can I schedule my daughter 1 year checkup of they dont answer the phone! Been calling since January 21st to reschedule! They need to get the act together for the sake of our little ones.

They never answer the phone. I literally called everyday of the week and no answer, It is so ridiculous.

My son & I absolutely love Dr Sackey. He is a top-notch pediatrician!! However, his staff could use some work. Its extremely difficult to get anyone to answer the phones to get an appointment and his staff is cold, rude, & unfriendly. Please fix this issue- I would hate to have to change from a great pediatrician bc of rude & lazy staffing just to get my son an appointment!!

Dr. Sackey is so kind, so patient, and so thoughtful. He always makes my child feel safe and comfortable. He speaks to my child first when entering the room, and I absolutely love that! My child took to him right away (and my child doesnt usually take to people very quickly).The majority of his staff is very kind and helpful, as well.He is not concerned with just handing out medications; he actually cares about each and every child he has as a patient. He takes his time, and he listens. We searched for a doctor for a long time, and now we have finally found one. I am immensely grateful to him for the work he is doing with my son.

The staff is very friendly and Dr Sackey knows his stuff ha has always hit every diagnosis on the head...I would recommend this clinic for your child

They are so rude they have bad attitude I never seen dr office like this ...

My newborn niece was brought to this hospital for her first check up, the lady in the office knew we were coming in under Medicaid and ensured us that they approve this kind of insurance, everything went well & our babygirl is great. She was then called and told that she needs to change her Medicaid that the one she had was not accepted, and will have to pay if she is seen again. My sister did as they asked and changed the group to be seen, it took 90 days to go into affect. My niece isn’t feeling too great & my sister felt confident in the doctor we saw, now with the correct Medicaid group, she had called the office and was rudely spoken to by this lady demanding that my sister pays 160 or they refuse to see my niece - that’s why she has Medicaid, she can not afford to see the Dr being she has no health insurance but Medicaid. She asked is there anyway round it, but was told she has to pay it in full only to be seen. I find this absolutely repulsive, this is a child and she needs to be seen & we all know Medicaid isn’t very much accepted around here but as a mother of 2 baby’s it isn’t easy just to travel to Dallas. We will be having something done about this as they knew from our first visit of all the details surrounding my nieces insurance. It’s sad we can’t lean on anyone not even a doctors office these days. The lady was careless, rude and just awful.

I was going to switch my daughters Dr to him but the office staff was very rude. They kept telling me I couldnt bring her unless I had her shot record and I informed them that her Dr was an hour away. I asked if they could just call her former Dr and have them fax it because I couldnt drive an hour away just for a shot record. They told me it was my responsibility and they wouldnt see her unless I had it with me. They wouldnt call and accept a fax. But if Im changing Drs then you would have to do that ANYWAY! because you would need her medical records. They were very rude and annoying. if your office staff is like that I can just imagine the rest of the team. NO THANK YOU

Saw Dr. Sackey as a kid and now both my young children see him. The staff is kind and helpful. And all doctors here are great! They use medicine as a last resort so and always give great advice!

I couldnt find a decent doctor for my children. When I came across Dr. Sackey I was so relieved not only does he explain everything to me he helps my children understand what is going on with them. My son took a lot of medications that I didnt feel was necessary. So I went for a second opinion now he is my sons primary doctor. He is the best doctor Ive had for my children. I will never change that.

We have used Dr. Sackey for 7 years. He is great with the kids, hes always been very understanding with my questions and concerns. They have always, even after hours, been easy to get a hold of and get help. His staff is amazing, they always do their best to answer questions, get any problems resolved quickly, get referrals out in record time. Will always be our favorite Doctor.

First doctor Ive ever seen that doesnt have a foot in the door rushing to get out of there. He sits with us and discusses everything, making sure I understand everything and addressing every concern I have without just pushing them away or dismissing them. He is an amazing doctor and pediatrician and wonderful with my daughter.

He is one of the most caring and knowledgeable doctors around. Hes taken care of my kids for 18 yrs. If he doesnt know he doesnt guess, he will send you on to a specialist. And he doesnt over medicate!

Not very helpful at scheduling. You will have a hard time being seen as a new patient.

This place has the nastiest rooms and waiting rooms I have ever seen, the office manager is rudest person I have ever met and will not work with you. They also don’t have a sick child section so be prepared that you and your children will be sick by the time you leave..I would not recommend this place on my worst enemy!!

Took my boys for the first time to see Dr. Sackey and I will never take them to another pediatrician. He has amazing bed side manor and really knows how to treat and deal with kids. I definitely recommend him for your childrens health needs.

The nurse staff is nice and helpful, their manager however is rude. Failed to tell me to bring a shot record for first visit and upon getting there was told my daughter couldn’t be seen. I drove an hour just to come here because I’ve heard sackey is the best and asked if she could have her checkup and bring the short record back. She persisted to be rude. Then proceeded to tell me I was the rudest person she’s met in front of my child. My daughter asked me why she would say such a rude thing! My 5 year old even realized how rude this woman was being!

I love Dr. Sackey and even though I do not live in Ennis I still made the hour drive back to see him. Then I moved to Austin and continued to make the 4 hour drive back to him. I spend a year dealing with the two people who murdered my daughter and putting her to rest and now they show my kids as inactive and Im stuck find a new Dr who will be like Dr. Sackey. Too bad his staff doesnt have the same compassion as he does. I hope your staff learns to care about children! As well as grieving parents! I and my husband have over 30 years combined experience in the medical field. You should listen and get the facts before telling a parent anything!

Asked me if i starved my child. His nurses laughed at my daughter (several times) while she screamed in pain from getting shots. They refused to give her 1 shot she needed for over a year, that visit i told them if the shot wasnt back there we would not be going back nor returning to this clinic ever again, got threatened with the police for child neglect over this one shot they refused to give her. Bye!

He was really great with my son he took very great care of my son when he was sick

What a bunch of lazy nurses and doctors with attitudes when you point out their faults or go against what they say. They are taking care of babies and kids... Youd think theyd care a little more.
