Dr. Okubadejo is one of the best docrors that I had the pleasure of meeting. He did my spine surgery of cause I was nervous and he reassured me that I would be fine. 2weeks after surgery I felt much better. No more back pain.

Dr Bo is the best doctor you can ask for. Not only is he a great surgeon he’s the best doctor I’ve ever had. His staff will help you anyway they can. Most people who go to him are in a lot of pain and they understand that. That means a lot to me. I would recommend anyone with neck or back pain to see him.

Last year I pulled my back out twice in a week working overseas in Tokyo! I returned to the U.S. and was unable to seek any type of services for my back due to the covid shut down! Waiting 3- 4 months to see a pain specialist was excruciating!Finally, after epidurals, chiropractic services, trial of the electric stimulator and a dysectomy to my disc my back worsened to the point where I couldnt stand up straight, the pain was twisting my body!My pain specialist was out of treatments and I really exhausted all means of treatment!With careful consideration and lots of talk time, my Doctor referred me to Dr. Okubadejo.Its been 2 weeks since my surgery and much work done to my back including 4 titanium screws, 3 discs removed and a spacer put in with a fusion...I can stand up straight, Im walking without a cane or walker! I was injured on the job in 2013 from a fall down a flight of stairs. I injured my head, lumbar spine and bilateral knees. Let me tell you I hit rock bottom after two failed spin chord stimulators, numerous injections in my head, lumbar spin, neck and knees. I sought out over 30+ doctors in three different states trying to find a doctor that pinpoint my chronic back leg and foot pain. My pain was so debilitating I was confined to my home for 6 1/2 years. In August 2019 I was referred to Dr Okubadejo for an evaluation. My meeting with with Dr. Okubadejo was great his mannerism were professional, polite and precise and to the point. When I left my appointment I felt a sense of calm energy that Dr. Okubadejo was going to be my saving grace. I told myself that hes the spinal surgeon thats going to finally fix and correct my injury. February 2021 I had (TLIFT) lumbar L4-5 fusion with the Mazor X robotic arm. The staff in office and at the hospital were fantastic. March 12, 2021 one month follow up my pain was between 1and 2. I cried and thanked Dr. Okubadejo at this visit because I can now walk a block+ and dance a jig with barely any pain. I am forever grateful for Dr. Okubadejo for giving me back my life.

I was afraid of getting the lumbar spinal fusion for my back. After speaking with Dr. Obedajo, I regained some knowledge and comfort for the surgery. On the day of the surgery. I felt immediate results, after not feeling my legs, for some years, as I once did post my car accident. I felt no pain compared to what I felt or imagined. Thank you Dr. Okubadejo!!! I needed lumbar surgery (2 level laminectomy and fusion). Dr. Bo listened to my complaints, explained my MRI and went over all my options. I had surgery late April and by late May I was walking over 2 miles, doing stairs and walking hills! So far, so good. Just normal recovery soreness. However, the pain and tingling/numbness in my back, butt, leg and foot was gone! I can walk, sit, stand and lay down for more than 10-15 minutes comfortably for the first time in about 4 years PAIN FREE! Very pleased with every aspect of Dr. Bos practice. Thanks!

Dr. Okubadejo is a most amazing spinal surgeon, and has the best bedside manner that I have ever been given. I had many back surgeries in the past. Above L3 came apart from wear and tear. I saw Dr. Okubadejo who sent me for an MRI and diagnosed me same day. Prior to him all the other orthopedist would say the CT scan was normal no need for an MRI. My MRI showed spinal bone and disc pushing on my nerve. By the time I was approved for surgery my legs started to fail me and I was falling down a great bit. Today is post op day #1, the pain is gone. The only pain I have is the postoperative pain.This doctor is amazing.

I was diagnosed with a bulging disc in January and I was in excruciating pain. It was recommended that I try pain management. I had three epidurals without success. I then tried physical therapy and again, there was no relief. I was advised to visit Dr. O. I was very hesitant but I made an appointment anyway. I can’t begin to tell you the comfortability and expertise I received from the staff, first off. I was completely relaxed with under going my surgery with Dr. Okubadjero . It was a team effort and they achieved it with efficacy.Unbeknownst to me was Dr. Okubadjero conversational skills and knowledge on what I would experience after the procedure and how to manage the pain. I thought it ended there, but it didn’t. He informed me on how to conquer the pain and to live a life as if I’ve never had any lower back problems whatsoever.In August of 2019, I did my surgery. Less than 3 hrs I felt extremely good! I even asked the question: Did you all start? Is it over? Really? You are actually done? I didn’t feel any immediate pain as I was possibly still under the Anesthesia. I told myself that I’d wait until the anesthesia wore off to properly Gauge how o truly feel. Welp, I felt great! Of course, the staff helped me walk a few hrs after the surgery. I was completely thrilled at how my mental fortitude ( due to words of wisdom from the Doctor and his staff ) aligned with my post goals of walking again.I could go on and on about Dr. Okubadjero Proficiency but I will say you would NOT be disappointed. Dr. Okubadejo’s staff were very polite and helpful throughout the whole process. They were able to squeeze me in to be seen ASAP. I saw Dr. Okubadejo within 2 days, during the first consult he explained & showed me that the MRI I had done was terrible quality so he sent me for a new one. Once I had that done I returned and he reviewed it with me and he said we should expedite the Laminectomy with fusion cause the first one I had done with another physician didnt the results I expected and had no pain relief whatsoever from it. He was very thorough and told me what his plan was and the result that I should see and feel, he was 100% correct. This man has a gift, his consults with me were awesome, he listened to me and wanted to hear my thoughts & questions first. This type of bedside manner is becoming hard to find or is fading away with other physicians. I recommend Dr. Okubadejo to anyone I talk to about spinal problems. If you have seen another spine specialist about your condition and you think you need a second opinion see Dr. Okubadejo, he will not lead you into something that you dont need. Alot of the new doctors like to cut not Dr. Okubadejo if you need it yes this man will help but he WILL NOT steer you in the wrong direction.

I was so scared to get my disc replaced, but I was in so much pain! Dr. Gbolagan Okubadejo made me feel so reassured and comfortable. Only three weeks out of surgery I am walking on my own and have hardly any pain anymore. Just a liitle numbness in the left toes which the doctor reassures me will go away in a few months! In addition, Holy Name hospital where he did my surgery was so caring, considerate, and I actually felt like they loved me while I was there. They didnt rush me out of the facility and made sure I was okay to go home. Dr. Okubadejo checked up on me while I was there and also showed that he listened to my concerns and was not just rushing me out of the hospital right after surgery. Dont live in pain! Go for surgery if needed and use Dr. Okubadejo!

His staff is very nice and always respond to my email questions promptly with good information. My follow up visits were always on time, there isnt a big wait for your scheduled appointment. Dr . O is very thorough and makes sure your concerns are addressed. I would highly recommend dr. O for any one with back issues.

Dr. O did my cervical surgery after going to him as a 3rd opinion. He did surgery on a friend of mine who is much younger then I am and my friend who was bedridden for over a year is now up and back to his old life. I was so happy that I choose to use Dr. O for my cervical surgery because I know feel so much of a difference. I was being paralyzed on the right side of my body. Im not going to lie there was pain afterwards which is to be expected but nothing compared to what I had before.Dr. O and his staff are all wonderful and caring people. He explained to my family and myself what was going to be done and what to expect afterwards. My only mistake was to have the surgery 11 days before my daughters wedding. The wedding was beautiful of course but I just could not enjoy myself the way I would have liked to have. I recommend Dr.O to anyone that tells me they have a back problem. I also needed surgery on my back but because it was a workers comp case I had to go with the Dr. the insurance company choose. But please even if you dont want to just go see him for a consult. I met a man there who could not walk and was also bedridden for a long time and he told me after his surgery he can now get up and move around . He was only out of surgery for a few weeks at that time. Good Luck. And Dr. O keep up the great work.

Dr.Okabadeju in addition to his outstanding surgical skills (speaking from personal experience) also has outstanding people skills! He always has a hug if you need one & makes the time to answer any questions you may have about a surgery if he believes it will help your quality of life, your pain & your overall well being. If in his opinion surgery is not the answer to your problem then he does offer alternative procedures to help alleviate your pain & improve your quality of life. Dr.Okabadeju initially operated & repaired several vertebrae in my lumbar area of my back. Once healed from the surgery I was able to have a quality back to my life & was able to resume many activities I had given up for years due to horrible pain.In a few weeks Dr. Okabadeju will operate on my neck due to a bone spur which has compressed the disc at C4 causing pain & limited movement. I have no doubt that Dr. Okabadejus skills will once again give me back the best possible outcome & allow me to enjoy my life again. God bless him!P.S. His staff are the sweetest & most competent group of people who go out of their way to make what is of course a stressful process as easy as they can for the patients!

I just wish that I had found Dr. Okubadejo sooner. I might have been spared two painful back surgeries. I had a 4 level disc fusion with the top surgeon at HSS which failed, I met with a spine-pain anesthesiologist for a spine cord stimulator implant which failed too because the leads have a much greater chance of failing/moving out of place as mine did after only 1 year. Enter Dr. Okubadejo and spine cord stimulator revision surgery.Dont let anyone near your spine except a spine surgeon ever!! No need to go to NY.Dr. Okubadejo is very calm, very skilled with a very impressive resume of education and training. I am confident that I was in the best of hands! JC is lucky to have him! The doctors staff are lovely and personable as well as very professional!.Disc fusion should be a last resort after all other pain management options have been exhausted.
