Dr. Griggs is exceptionally professional and competent. I drove 90 minutes per appointment for his expertise. He removed a cyst and cleaned up one of my tendons allowing me to return to climbing. He was stern in placing limits during my recovery to ensure I did not re-injure myself, despite my complaints, and allowed for adequate recovery time. I am now back to 100% and extremely grateful for his skills.

Being a veteran of way too many surgeries I can tell you from experience that doctor Griggs is 1st class in his field. He will take the time with you to make sure you understand. He will listen to your concerns and has an over all professional bedside manner. More important than the chit chat is the quality of work that he produces. You are in good hands.

In & out quickly. Dr Griggs did an assessment of my injury, clearly explained what he wanted me to do to aid in my recovery and got me out without any unnecessary waiting around. I felt that the pre-visit paperwork was overly intrusive and not tailored to the reason for my visit, however I do understand the need to be thorough in an orthopedic surgical practice.

I cant say enough about Dr griggs and his staff theyre very experienced and work very hard at what they do . I had carpal tunnel surgery on both of my hands and very pleased with the results very pleased with the way the whole staff treated me at focus hand surgery . I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of carpal tunnel surgery or hand surgery of any kind. My hands would wake me up every night numb and in pain and now that Ive had to carpal tunnel surgery I sleep all night my hats off to Dr griggs and staff.

This was my first visit, and I was favorably impressed. Although parking around Swedish is difficult, the time I spent in his office area was a very good experience. Every Covid precaution was taken. He and his nurse took as much time as I needed, going over everything - X-rays, possible procedures and details about everything. Highly recommend.

I have been fortunate to have known Dr. Griggs for a few years and he has been an excellent physician. He has operated on me for cubital syndrome with success. Presently I am being treated for a finger trigger. I went through their rehab process first and now realize that I need surgery to alleviate pain. That will occur shortly. This will be my second surgery with Dr. Griggs. He fixed my right shoulder from a car accident on 12/2013. I was brought in to the emergency Room with a severe injury to my wrist with a laceration. I had damage to my artery ,tendons and the ulnar nerve. It was a bad injury but dr griggs appears to have done an excellent job. I still have lots of healing to do but it seems good so far.Healing continues but still have nerve issues.

Excellent Doctor and very well run office

Crushed my finger pretty badly where the tendon came off the bone (Mallet Finger). Dr. Griggs treated me without the need for surgery and my finger is almost back to normal. I hope to never injure myself like this again, but if I do, I will definitely go back to Dr. Griggs and Hand Surgery Associates.

Dr Griggs and everyone else that I’ve interacted with at HSA have been extremely knowledgeable, communicative, fastidious and accommodating.

Have had 2 injuries w my left hand over the last 6 months, a severed extensor tendon middle finger and broken wrist, and Dr. Griggs has been there both times to help get me on the healing path in a very expedient fashion. I’ve visited this practice for two different injuries: a thumb injury, and a dislocated elbow recently. Ouch! In addition to good initial medical care, physical therapy is miraculous for recovery.
