I stopped in at Nova Mente and had an excellent class. Troy Everett is a great teacher and his gym has such an awesome environment. I can’t wait to go back and train with them.

It’s a good community of people and a great team teaching them. They genuinely care about your progress and understanding of techniques. Everyone there is always excited and willing to help you learn and succeed. I even recommend the kids class!

Cant say enough about how amazing this place is. It’s not a stretch to say it saved my life. It’s the absolute best part of my day every time I walk in the door. The instructors are absolute monsters, and they care about you. The people there are the kindest, most encouraging group of people I’ve met. So proud to call nova mente home.

Gi, nogi, striking, and Todd also works with people as a physical trainer if youre interested. very impressive overhaul of new top of the line equipment.

I like to push myself. After being disabled in the Army, it was hard to find a safe and energetic place that would fulfill that need for me. This place is like a second home. Everyone is so friendly and ready to answer questions. Ive gotten a second chance at martial arts in a family friendly environment. Thanks Nova! Youre the best!

Over the years I have trained with national/international level athletes and coaches for Martial Arts and Fitness / Peak Performance. As a Coach, Nova Mente has struck a unique balance with their approach of training the mind and the body. As a student, the class structure is technical and has some of the highest level fundamentals I have ever seen, all taught in formats that ensure success. (that one conversation we had over guard passing has unbelievably impacted the way I look at passing the guard.)On a personal note, I have also never seen a more passionate team that cares about “bringing people with them” towards success inside and outside of the gym.I can’t thank Coach Dylan enough and very much recommend you try out a few classes to see what me and so many others have experienced.

I love these people! As a gay man who has never done a sport I was initially very nervous, but Cam, Sam, Kyle and Dylan were so supportive and welcoming that I quickly felt at home.Theres the instruction is very good and technical, membership allows for unlimited classes and training during the week, and personal training is available for those who want it.

Nova is an incredible school for me and my family to not only learn jiu jitsu but grow together as a family. I have nothing but praise for every single one of the coaching staff who have all become extensions of our own family. I am incredibly grateful to train and learn from some of the most amazing people I have ever met.

My family and I were members of this gym for 2 years and sadly found ourselves ending our relationship due a verbal altercation(which I have recorded) that ensued from Todd the strength and conditioning coach. He thought it was appropriate to scream and curse at my teen daughter and I after we asked for clarification over a miscommunication on Todds part. We also didnt appreciate his lack of acknowledgment when he would arrive late to some of our personal training sessions. Todd tried to intimidate my daughter and I but instead this situation strengthened our voices to speak up against bullies like Todd. The owner of the gym , Dylan, whom I have nothing but praise for, did reach out to us but unfortunately it was too late by that point.

Nova has been such an amazing place to continue my fitness/bjj journey! All the coaches there are so supportive and truly care about the people that train there! Couldn’t imagine a better place to train at

There are no egos in the instructors or teammates that you may experience elsewhere. Onboarding into the academy is super easy, and the amount of classes offered should easily fit within your schedule. Ive been training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) at Nova since last year and its been an amazing experience. BJJ is excellent for building discipline, confidence, staying physically active and of course self-defense. The team at Nova will always ensure you feel welcome and included, the coaches are really good at explaining and making sure youre progressing and the community around you is always there to support you. In addition to this Nova is very inclusive of everyone and all walks of life, love this place!
