This is the best gym in the area by a wide margin. Its impeccably clean, the equipment is modern and well maintained, and the space is sun drenched. The showers, towel, service and steam room are spa quality.

It’s not called THE GYM for anything. The owners run the gym as if their lives depended on it. They are professional and their facilities are professional. From their group classes (including virtual), child sitting, the strength training area, personal training, the spa services, shakes, maintenance and Covid19 procedures, they take it seriously. Do yourself a favor, don’t join a gym without seeing THE GYM.

I have been a member of 5-6 gyms over the past 25 years. Cleanliness, equipment selection, and space/size are key to enjoyment. The Gym is rock solid (even if I’m not). Kudos to keep the place looking and feeling new.

After being struck by a car while riding a road bike nearly four years ago, I sustained significant injuries to my spine, arms and legs, rendering me disabled. After numerous operations: a full knee replacement and tibia rod in one leg , & a cervical fusion and discectomy, I experienced difficulty even walking for quite some time. Suffice it to say, any consideration of intense, physical activity was unrealistic to say the least. Well, after receiving extraordinary guidance and support provided by Nurit Chasman, Group Fitness Director and her Spin Crew, I recently managed to complete the NYC Marathon (well, in all candor, my sub-three hour marathon days are well gone). I would also be remiss if I failed to mention how Shantel Ellis, Account Manager, crafted a personal training schedule under Johnny Gouvanis who helped this old guy brush off the dust and remove the rust from my mechanical parts. Loving this gym so far. Always clean, staff is friendly. Steam room and sauna. Showers and lockers. Offer tons of services such as massage, facials, acupuncture, etc. Personal trainers, nutritionist, PT, etc. Lots of classes.

An upscale, but also serious place for fitness - my favorite place to work out. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Beautifully designed facility - perfectly balanced lighting, climate, and sound; wood lockers, fine shower and wet area. Beautifully maintained. Pricey, but the quality keeps me going.

Open 13 years ago and better than ever. 150 classes available, towel service, day care, great trainers and an awesome selection of equipment. Did I mention it is immaculate? Well, it is. Worth every penny, if you go, that is.

Dance fitness (Zumba) class with Nancy is always awesome! Just joined the gym and still need to become familiar with all services. That said, one of the best things is the hours of operation which suit my crazy schedule.

Phenomenal gym, only two downsides is that it isnt 24 hour and the price is a little bit on the higher side. At the end of the day though, if you’re looking for the quality experience and can afford it, this is the place to be. Variety of equipment, steam rooms, and some of the best showers at a gym facility. You can even grab a protein shake after your workout.

Ive have been going to gyms for 30 years. The most important thing for me is the house keeping and how tidy the place is kept. No gym is perfect but this comes damn close. Equipment is updated regularly and whats there is maintained very well. With gyms it does matter what you pay when it comes to upkeep. And for suburbia its pricey but worth it.

Night and Day when compared with my former gym. I am extremely happy with everything about The Gym. It is well maintained, convenient and the staff are extremely friendly and considerate. I cannot say enough good things and would recommend to anyone looking for a new gym!

If you’re fluent in the language of millennials, you will understand how A1 the GYM is. The custodial staff does an immaculate job of cleaning every day and night. The customer service is on point. They are probably the only staff to greet and thank every single member to walk in and out their door. The GYM’s music playlist is fire, there is a variety of fitness equipment to use and the shakes are excellent. My only suggestion is to replace the calisthenics area located outside with a basketball court or swimming pool.

Best instructors, staff,showers , eucalyptus towels. I have been to many gyms over the years and nothing comes close. I look forward to going at least five days a week.

Absolutely awful experience at this gym. Provided necessary documentation for cancellation of recurring membership and continued to get billed months after doctors note. Management at this facility are extremely unprofessional. Very poor way to conduct business. I will never go to this gym again nor will I recommend to anyone. Still waiting for return of 4 months in additional, unwarranted charges after cancellation.

Like many others, I became a member at the gym Health Club late last year to better my health through exercise.Something came up after a few months that I had to cancel my membership.Not being able to locate the membership contract, I wrote an cancell note via health club website link asking for cancellation.The employee in charge of cancellation called me the following day, and I reiterated my intention to cancel and asked whether there will be a penalty. I was advised that Ill have to pay a month penalty and that will be it. After double and triple checking over email correspondence and email, I was told that everything was taken care of and that my contractual obligation with the gym Health Club had been satisfied.However, I was charged the following month and now, the manager of the club is telling me that my obligation is not over and that Im liable under contract for one whole year.When asked about my previous correspondence, the manager basically said that its not her problem. After setting up a time to meet and discuss this matter, I was stood up and no apology or an explanation was given for the no-show.Im out of pocket $550 and I acknowledge my obligations, but to be given the run-around and outright disprect by the gym Health club employees leave a bitter taste in my mouth.I urge others to avoid this club due to uninformed employees devoid of customer service.

BE AWARE OF AUTOMATIC RENEWAL OF THE ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP.They dont tell you the membership will be renewed automatically unless you cancel it 30 days in advance before your membership expire. I found out this late after i was charged for a extra month. This is a bad business practice. I will never go back to this gym.

Really nice gym but.... You have to be very careful before you sign up!!! In my situation, a family plan, one person would be on a month to month rate and the other would be on a yearly plan! Excuse me? Its a family plan and youre splitting up the deal like that or the 2nd person is $40-50 more a month then the primary? At one point, I was informed that a family plan is a minimum of 3 people? Make sure that the pricing and terms is very clearly understood before signing. I went from totally excited and ready to sign up and decided against the terms. 4 stars is my rating for the gym however, 2 is my rating after that experience and re-invited to try out the gym a bit longer as a guest. The deal was over and just left initially. Make sure youre thinking 100%, had some coffee before going there. Very disappointed because ethis was my #1 choice prior to selecting a new gym. Most businesses its less $ for add-ons and if a company tries to put you under a yearly contract, be very careful. They have a month-to-month option but, like my line of business competitors, if theres a contract, be careful. If one provides good/great service, the customers shouldnt have to be placed on a contract or pay more monthly, to be on a month-to-month. Ive been at gyms for years and at least 1-2 years at each. This and only one other gym try to put you under a yearly contract. One of the nicest gyms in the are but, #2 when it comes to terms. The #1 gym with bad terms is that other one where theres 0 chance of month-to-month (even if you pay more). Kudos for reaching out and re-inviting to retry/re-explain terms. Choose wisely my gym friends!
