Dr Schlegel, have done my ACL surgery on my right foot in 2015 Sep very successful. Today I had broken my left knee and foot, I feel my right knee that I got surgery is very strong helping me withstand now when I cannot walk on my left foot. I am really blessed to meet Dr Schlegel and get my ACL reconstruction on my right foot. Thank you so much to Dr.

His team is freaking awesome. They make you feel so welcome and they are very helpful. I went to Dr Schlegel after suffering a right knee injury and he did such a amazing job. My knee feels 10 times better than before. Highly recommended 👌

Dr. Schlegel is an outstanding Dr. He did surgery 12 years ago and did a great job. I saw him yesterday for osteoarthritis pain and scar tissue with decreased movement and pain with walking. He was kind, compassionate and took his time to get to the heart of the problem and find a fast solution. I am so grateful to have Dr. Schlegel managing my care!

Dr Schlegel is a fantastic surgeon. He repaired my torn bicep in September. Although the healing process has been much longer than I anticipated, every time I have been in the office, he has been on time, professional and made me feel like he genuinely cares about me. Plus, you can hardly see my scar!

I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Schlegel. My friend suggested I see him after a bad ski injury this winter and had nothing but nice things to say about the care he received. Wow was he right! Dr. Schlegel takes the time to listen to you and always makes sure youre comfortable with the plan before moving forward. He is conservative with surgery and I never felt like he was pushing me to the table. I ultimately needed an ACL reconstruction and the rehab has been going great. I know I have the best of the best looking after me!

Dr. Schlegel and his staff has literally changed my life for the better. My boss Brian Spickler (Former Olympic Bobsledder) referred me to this clinic. From beginning to end I have been thoroughly impressed with Dr. Schlegel and his staff, remaining professional, positive, open, and progressive. They have been patient in dealing with my concerns, promptly follow up via email and/or phone calls, and being understanding when I need to reschedule/cancel appointments. I also made a mistake using their app to stop having my insurance be billed and when I go the bill asked them if it could be reversed and they simply had me forward my information to the insurance dept. and everything was taken care of on their end from that point forward. Regarding the procedure itself they performed a Tibial Tubercle Osteotomy basically re-aligning my patella to prevent future patella dislocations. I am now approaching 7 months post OP and have never felt better! Between the quality work that was done in the actual surgery, the healing regiment, and the physical therapy with Elias Fark (AWESOME BTW) I feel I have gained a new level of expectation regarding my quality of life! I really wanted to share with anyone having questions or fears about getting you knee pain checked out, to please consider visiting this clinic... my out of pocket expenses were much lower than I anticipated and I now have no fear of having my kneecap dislocate anymore! I hope to get back to playing volleyball, softball, and hopefully learning how to snowboard/snow ski! - Thank you Dr. Schlegel again I really appreciate impact you have had on my life. Dr. Schlegel is the best orthopedic surgeon I have ever been too. He was patient with me and my family as I explained my knee pains, and we came up with a solution together that we were all excited about. I would recommend to anyone who is having orthopedic issues.-Sam

Dr. Schlegel and his staff were great during the entire process of getting me back on my feet after my knee injury. His team moved quickly and efficiently to identify my injury and discuss potential treatment options with me. Following the surgery they moved quickly to get me into PT and back on my feet!

Not very user friendly. Robot answers the phone then a rude person possibly named Elizabeth (she talks fast and mumbles) put us on hold with no explanation. Look elsewhere if you value your time.

5 yrs ago Dr Schlegel operated on my knee, although I live on the west side of town now I returned to Dr. Schegel for my recently broken shoulder because I feel very comfortable at Steadman Hawkins. Surgery wasnt necessary, however I am extremely happy with the way Dr. Schlegel and Nate managed my recovery.

Her acl and meniscus were so bad, that dr. Schlegel managed to save them both without shaving the meniscus completely (like other doctors told her they will).He repaired mine too, saving me from pain of having 2 surgeries. Also his strengthening and post recovery program is stellar.I totally recommend him for any sports injuries. So far, I am in my 6th month post OP and everything related to my condition and recovery goes perfectly.I can hardly wait to go 100% back to my climbing and snowboarding.

Dr. Schlegel, Nate, and the excellent physical therapists at Steadman Hawkins got me back to the activities I enjoy after a painful biceps tendon injury. I highly recommend them!

Thru a fortuitous set of circumstances I was referred to Dr Schlegel and boy did I get lucky !! I am a ski instructor from Sun Valley who sustained a 60 mph hit & run from behind while teachinga private lesson.BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME is dr. Schlagels practice here and not only did they do necessary repair, there was full clean up of all other possible items. Shaving of bone ,to smooth things out ,removing old stitches still floating around from an 8 yr old Dr Weimstein surgery. My shoulder is in better shape rthan it was before the accident ! I didnt realize that this was a possibility Personable, professional, kind and impeccable ability. Major surgery , no visible scars . Other doctors can learn from this office. A physician extender ( Max, in my case (( Max the magnificent)) is your 24 hr contact who feels like your best friend. A 2 nd assistant physician and then Dr Schlegel..perfect efficiency and communication , no getting left on the phone waiting ...EVER !!A friendly supportive and positive staff whos favorite answer is yes we can You have a winning team with your best interest at heart . Confidence and peace of mind are actually possible in this world.I am someone who is been a professional athlete, no one could appreciate more Dr. Schlagels expertise . In addition to the review on Dr. Noonan, I am doing this one on Dr. Schlegel. I went in for a 2nd opinion. I waited in the room for 45 minutes, and no one came. I opened the door and was a couple minutes from walking out. Ive never done that before. I asked one of the employees if the doctor was going to come see me and the PA came in 5 minutes later. Eventually the doctor did come in with a medical student tagging along. It felt like he was trying to impress the student, but acted disinterested in me. He essentially read me the radiologists report , which I had already read myself. I suspect he knew I was there to get a 2nd opinion, and was not worried about being attentive. It turned out my primary doctor stopped taking my insurance and I had to come to Steadman Hawkins to get the surgery with Dr. Noonan. Glad I did. If Dr. Schlegel had shown some interest, I may have used him for my surgery.
