Beyond thankful for Dr. Yakes and his entire staff. He literally saved my life. I cannot express enough my gratitude and appreciation for him.

I’ve been seeing doctor Yakes for over ten years now. I’ve had 11 procedures with him and I have fought to keep him as my doctor through multiple insurance companies. When my insurance was trying to deny, the billing department got everything I needed to appeal THREE TIMES. Sandy fought for me because she knew this was important. Molly is constantly having to put up with my mother calling almost every day prior to my surgeries and I know dealing with her isn’t always fun so I appreciate you! All of the PAs, RNs and NPs take the time to be thorough with your instructions both pre and post op and are there to answer after hour calls for you with a smile on their face. The compassion, empathy and concern yakes shows to his patients is incredible. He makes it a clear point to get to know his out of state clients that only see him for surgeries and the touch base means the world. He is able to make a connection prior to surgery that I’m sure so many of his out of staters appreciate. I have never felt like he left a question unanswered, or didn’t make it a point to see me and say hello before heading in. Now here’s to hoping this was my last surgery for a while, but knowing that even if it wasn’t I can look forward to a trip to see this awesome group of doctors! Thank you guys for all you’ve done and continue to do to make my life easier.

The entire team, so far, has been excellent. From the mid-level staff to Molly in the front office, everyone has been kind, professional, and proactive. Any vascular malformation is scary, and they have done a wonderful job of addressing questions and allaying fears. I highly recommend the Yakes Center.

Finally my husband and I found Dr Yakes for our 35 yr old daughter that was born with venous malformation. We are very greatful with the staff,nurses. They make you feel comfortable with no worries. Thank you very much.

This man and his team saved my life yesterday. When all the other doctors I had seen were at a loss on how to treat me he knew exactly what to do. I was bleeding out and he treated me with such confidence and gentleness. I will forever be greatful to Doctor Yakes and his team.

Started going 19yrs ago. The good Grace of God and Dr Yakes saved my wifes leg. We made 26 trips from NC to Denver CO for procedures.

My Daughter visited the vascular Malformation Center a week ago. She had to procedures done by Dr. Yakes. Our experience as parents was very well. Dr. Yakes PAs, his nurse in the procedure room, his Anesthesiologist were all very nice and had nice bed side manners. The nurses that took care of her in the Preop room were great and all the nurses up on the 9th floor that took care of her during her stay in the hospital were great. Everyone took out time to answer all questions we or her had and made us all 3 feel really comfortable. My daughter has more procedures in the future and we have no concerns of returning back to the Vascular Malformation Center. Over all under the circumstances we had a great experience.
