The intake receptionists are absolutely terrible. Act like its the worst thing to ever happen to them to answer a phone call to schedule an initial appointment. I read the reviews on here before giving them a call, and I can confirm that all the bad reviews are correct for this place. If youre really suffering with your mental health, dont try to come here.

If you specialize in mental health you should understand that if a person is suffering you should treat them with what has worked for them in the past or even what’s working currently. Seems like this place is all based on what the provider is comfortable with prescribing and not focused on what the patient actually needs. I don’t know....my last appointment left me feeling kind of regretful for opening up to someone who just doesn’t.....understand.

Just a horrible intake experience. I made the initial phone call and got on the schedule for 2 days later. I received a text message and an email confirming my appointment. I completed the 10 minutes of forms for registration. The day of my appointment I had not received the link for my visit via zoom so I decided to call 2 hours before. I was told there was no appointment on the schedule for me and the didn’t know why. My work schedule is very hard to work around so simply rescheduling is not easy. It took me 3 months to make this phone call to get the mental help I came to realize I needed and my first impression here is not good. So if they can’t even handle the intake process I’m guessing their service is not very good as well. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Adding my review to hopefully offset some of the negative ones, Ive had a very positive experience. Love my therapist, love how easy it is to set up an appointment, its been a great experience. Theyve also been very adaptive through the COVID-19 crisis and it was a very smooth transition to telehealth. Front desk staff has always been kind and professional. Im VERY glad I found them, and that I am able to receive care for my mental health, especially during these times when its been necessary to see my therapist weekly.

Ive been very pleased, and Im not sure why there are so many bad reviews. When I need an appointment, I simply call the main number, they help me quickly and efficiently, I show up on time, pay my copay, see my therapist, and Im out the door. Friendly, efficient, and easy.

Incompetent billing staff, uninterested counselors, and a bait-and-switch sliding scale price that will magically increase 50% overnight. This was my first attempt at getting therapy, and its probably going to be my last, considering the intense distrust I now have for anyone in that profession.

I was referred to this practice by a primary care provider for a medication management refill - I ended up spending 40 minutes in this office to walk away so much farther from where I need to be in order to survive.I couldnt even write down my own information correctly on the intake form because of how loud and disruptive the front desk staff was behaving. Actually shrill-screaming was happening, as well as talking about which coworkers (in that very building) they dont like - extremely off-putting setting for a medical office. When I was called back by a person for a mental health intake visit or whatever they called it, I paused them and asked if I would either see an actual prescribing doctor today or would be able to get my RX refill (non-controlled substance). I was told no because thats now what this appointment was for, just questions today! I was not informed of that when I made this appointment, or else I wouldve just gone to a place that better meets my needs. Who has this kind of disposable time to keep leaving work and driving to be talked down to? I dont. There is a severe shortage of health care professionals in Colorado, and its impact has hurt so many people in our state. Even if Id made it all the way to the prescribing doctor, I would never return solely based on the lack of courtesy and professionalism of the front desk, but also the cold nature of Delta or whoever it was that spoke with me behind the closed doors. I feel sad for other patients who just need and want help.We are at your mercy, and this is how we are treated by those in the position to care. We need help and we need compassion. If you cant even pretend be kind, why would you take a job in health care?

Donald is a great therapist, I absolutely think he is the best. My problem is with the 45 day waiting period to schedule to see a doctor and the 15-20 minute hold time on the phone to schedule an appointment. I usually just drive down because its faster.

All of the people who work here are fantastic! I have had a great experience every time I have been in. When you try to schedule a follow up with the psychiatrist they will only schedule you 3 days in advance so only inconvenient times are available. It is very frustrating because I love all the people but cant take off work with that short of notice! I read another review and didnt believe it bcause this is the dumbest rule I have ever heard...but it is true!

I was referred here by my primary doctor as she said she would be more comfortable if a psychiatrist prescribed my medication. The ONLY thing I like about this place is my actual therapist, Genevieve. The girl who did my intake, Delta, was flat out not nice. I felt judged during our entire interaction and she even told me “oh we don’t like to prescribe that here” when I listed a medication I take. I left there sobbing because my intake was so horrible and I left with NO medication or even seeing a “professional”. The most helpless feeling.. I tried to schedule with one of the doctors to get all of my medicine from here and was told it would be a month out for any appointment at my location and I was told I couldn’t go to another location then bounce back to mine to be seen sooner. None of the doctors work Friday at this location yet they’re booked up. It’s extremely frustrating as they MAKE you go through this to get any type of depression or anxiety medication. I feel completely helpless with my healthcare which clearly others feel the same way with all the other reviews.

Their intake process needs a lot of work, especially when dealing with younger kids. Interviewer was quite rude and abrupt, so we decided to go elsewhere and never even spoke with their therapists.

It is beyond difficult to get an appointment here for a one hour counseling session once a week. Be prepared to wait weeks between appointments. My 8 year old son spent the better part of each of his appointments in the hall coloring pictures, while his therapist discussed the theorys she learned in school with me. I asked why I pulled him out of school to sit in the hall I was told it was for billing purposes. I cam to get my some some counseling and for a safe place for him to express his feelings and what I got was, poor care and and a stack of bills. RUN someplace else and get a quality therapist that does care.

Ive been going for 3+ years. The people are kind and helpful. Sometimes there is difficulty setting an appointment with my schedule. Some medicines are not covered by insurance, so we have worked around that as best as possible. All in all, I would suggest this place to others.

I know community mental health is fairly clunky with getting people in the door. Even then, I am appreciative it exists. As extreme as it sounds, I’ve been trying to get in with my provider for a year and a half or more. My file was closed out, not because I wasn’t showing up to appointments that I made, but because my provider keeps canceling them. She needs to have that time to leave notes. She needs to be in a meeting. She’s moved locations. She’s gone on FMLA. She’s gone on vacation. She’s supposed to be here but she’s not. She requires more time than what was scheduled. My appointments are routinely canceled and often without notice. It’s a complete abandonment of care in the fact that I’ve been off my meds for my diagnosed mental health disorder and unable to get the prescriptions without seeing her.The response you’ll get from Allhealth for coming to them with the concern is thanks for letting us know, and you know where the door is if you don’t like what we do. It is phrased as “you are always welcome to use another provider” however. For a system with a purpose of helping people with diagnosed and undiagnosed mental health disorders, they often show no respect or care for that purpose.I know that community mental health is the only option for many low income people and it’s so disheartening this is the system in place to help some of the most vulnerable of our community.

My 4 year old son suffers from anxiety and depression. This clinic is in network for us, however when I called and spoke to the front desk to get a consultation set up for him, I was told We are not accepting boys which means in politically correct terms they arent accepting new patients, but to be exact boys. So unless you want your kid to be just a statistic I would suggest finding some where else to seek services.

I would strongly advise against using Arapahoe Douglas Mental Health at all costs. I have had my significant other and stepdaughter both have to go thru them and both have had poor results.Significant other just had medication after medication thrown at her. The medications prescribed actually made her condition worse, which we didnt find out until we switched doctors and they went thru Genetic testing with her. They were never able to answer many questions regarding her mental health status (she is Schizo Effective/Bi Polar 1). She was never able to get in and see a therapist, only a medicinal doctor. Also, multiple times she was removed from their system, had her appointment canceled with no warning and no reasoning. For a mental health patient, this is unacceptableMy stepdaughter is currently being seen at the office on Dry Creek/I-25. She is having issues in both homes, yet the doctor has ONLY listened to dad. Dr. Hannah REFUSES to contact the school my stepdaughter is attending in order to get feedback from the school counselors and social worker. Dr Hannah has allowed dad to dictate everything and doesnt seem to really understand our stepdaughter. I honestly question a doctor who takes EVERYTHING a 12 year old says at face value. When we have had a chance to speak with Dr Hannah, she essentially blows off our concerns regarding school bullying, even when there is VISUAL proof that the bullying is not happening.I would strongly suggest finding anyone else..

DR. Jones is great, dont get me wrong. But I have NEVER had to keep calling back to get a medication appointment. I would normally schedule with my doctor 3 months in advance. ADMH uses a 3 day system where you call, the receptionist searches schedule medication appointments. The receptionist will then search for open appointments within the next three days. I am almost out of medication and I cant even work around a full time job, working 12 hour days currently as it is and I cant refill my medication because they have NO appointments. I am leaving this practice and will Never recommend their psychiatrist because they have to work with this stupid 3 day search, instead of setting up an appointment in which a person that has a full time job and a life and needs appointments a few weeks to months in advance. Not happy with this place at all.

Avoid this place.I was referred here and told them I was worried about the cost because I wasnt going to be insured for another month by my new job. They assured me over and over that there would be no charge, that the session would be covered by state funding and grants. 2 months later, I receive a bill in the mail for $357.
