I have been a patient of Dr. Shatzkes for over 12 years and I have never met a more compassionate and competent physician. I highly recommend this Dr. and his practice.

I am sure the doctor is great based on previous google reviews but my experience with the office staff in July/August 2020 was a very negative one. After several phone calls, it was clear that scheduling for imaging was too complicated since both my husband and I are unable to take off from work with only a few days notice (they schedule a week in advance). When we requested that the office transfer our prior authorizations to another site, they refused to and withdrew the prior authorizations completely. During my last conversation the office staff member was extremely rude and yelled at me on the phone. Never again will I visit or recommend this practice.

Dr. Joseph Shatzkes is the most genuine, kind, knowledgeable and incredible cardiologist there is. My husband experienced a traumatic cardiac event after covid this year and after spending a day in the ER, Dr. Shatzkes insisted on the test that saved his life. He was so involved with follow up care, from personal calls to making sure his staff always gave the best appointment time to him whenever it worked with our schedule. His staff is so sweet and make it so easy to get in touch with the Doctor at all hours of the day. I would highly recommend Dr. Joseph Shatzkes to anyone in need of a top notch cardiologist.

Dr. Shatzkes is a deeply caring person who treats you like youre family. He caught a problem with my heart that the technology didnt pick up and definitely saved me from having a heart attack. I would HIGHLY recommend him!

Dr. Shatzkes met my husband in his room when he was recently at Englewod Hospital. He helped with evaluating his condition and put my husband at ease with his caring manner. The follow up appointment a week later confirmed our trust of his professional opinion about my husband’s heart health and overall health, going forward.

Im 56 and with occasional arrhythmias, dr Shatkes, has been a life saver . Did every test possible to ensure my heart was healthy. Im feeling fantastic now and happy that I went to him. Been a nurse for 31 years and I know a GREAT dr when i see one. He absolutely loves his job and his patients .The office is also very accommodating, everyone is nice and professional ❤❤❤❤❤❤.

I have never met a doctor that displays as much care for his patients well being as Dr Shatzkes does on a regular basis.He is one of the most special people on this planet.
