I know that in this medical field emergencies can come about at any time and sometimes those emergencies may push back other planned procedures. When that happens and a 91 year old patient is left on a gurney for 5 hours with no explanation and no food for 24 hrs because of fasting requirements, I think maybe an apology would have been the way to go from this Dr. No apology ! Then the next day when my Dad had the nerve to bring it up to this Dr. he thought maybe sarcasm would work by saying, Yeah, I was having a cup of coffee. Not funny Doc ! Your a Dr./ not a comedian , act like one.
