Well run office. Reception desk was friendly and quick to process my visit paperwork. The wait was short and the technician friendly, efficient, and thorough. Doctor Hwang was excellent and also very thorough and provided excellent advice and recommendations on follow up treatment.

Excellently organized office. Everything ran smoothly. No long wait time plus they offered a fee hearing test. Would highly recommend.

I am beyond thrilled at the results of my cataract surgery performed by Dr. Hwang!!!! My whole experience was great! Everyone from the office staff, the surgery coordinator, Evie, the staff at the Bloomfield Surgical Center to Dr. Hwang were expertly professional and caring. I have always been afraid to have anything done to my eyes, but they put me at ease and I felt confident of the outcome which is better than I could have imagined! My eyesight is very clear and colors are all so bright! Solinsky EyeCare was recommended by my regular eye doctor and now I can recommend them to others.🤗

She is very professional and friendly, communicates extremely well with her patients. Only complaint was the amount of redundant information they asked me for, need to streamline that process.

I first went to Solinsky on an emergency visit, I had metal in my eye. They got me right in and took care of me. Have been going there since and recommend friends and family to them. Very professional and friendly, a great combination. They caught a hole in my retina last summer and repaired it quickly and efficiently. I am very impressed with the quality of care and the professionalism of everyone I have dealt with in 3 different locations.

Nice clean location, plenty of parking, friendly staff, and the visits always go very smoothly. I’ve been going here for several years through at least 3 pairs of glasses that they help me pick, and I’ve always gotten compliments on my new eyewear. Not to mention the glasses have always worked well for me and I haven’t broken any.

This place was great from the receptionist to the doctor! The front desk clerk was so pleasant as we chatted about taking care of your eyes. The wait was not long. I love the doctor!!! Can I keep her. She was thorough, understanding, clear and precise in her recommendations. Don’t forget the eyeglass lady who talked me through my new benefits and helped me make good decisions. Only one tiny complaint: After receiving dilation drops I was ushered out to the waiting room. I wish I had been told how long the wait would typically be.

Very good at explaining complicated problems in language easy to understand. They were prompt and the office was extremely clean. All the recommended covid safety precautions were followed to a T.

Absolutely love this office.I’m so happy I came here, completely through and easy to talk to the staff.I was nervous and was put to ease immediately.Christina was my nurse who started the exam .She was efficient and took her time with me.Continued to sanitize every part of the eye machine and explained the process.Then I had Jessica Olewnik who did the final part of the exam and again sanitized every part of the machine.Was patient and had a true concern for my situation and gave me a solution that was perfect for me .Thank you both for helping me through this exam .

Lack of professionalism with respect to their office staff in their main location. While trying to make an appointment to get my eyes dilated to prep for cataract surgery, I was informed that I have been dismissed as a client due to being a no show. I have never not shown up for an appointment! And I was never told that I was on the verge of being dismissed. And I never received one of their no show postcards. Im waiting their office to send me a medical release form in order to transfer my records to a new doctor. Was told this process could take up to 30 days. Very unhappy with this physicians staff and overall process.

I have been going to Solinski EyeCare for years, first in their West Hartford office then in Enfield. Everyone is very polite. 99% of the time your appointment time is actually the time they see you, you are not sitting around a waiting room waiting for the doctor.

Solinskis staff scheduled me for an 8am appt when I arrived they rudely claimed i was scheduled for 7:15 and could not see me after waiting 5 weeks for an appt. No apologies for the mistake and no offer to reschedule. Bad business, take your health and business elsewhere is my advice. Plenty of other good choices in Enfield.

Professional and attentive staff!

I went to Solinsky Eyecare for a routine eye exam and new glasses. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I felt like I got a good, thorough eye exam. I love my new glasses, I see much better with them and they look great.

Staff very pleasant. Dr was very attentive to my needs she made me feel at easy to transition to a progressive prescription.

My appointment started on time. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction. I left feeling good about the experience, believing my eyesight will be where it should be after I get my new glasses. Only disappointment is having to wait 2 weeks to get my new glasses.

I called this office with somewhat of an emergency eye issue. They had availability and fit me and almost within the hour. Upon arrival I was seeing rather quickly, my condition diagnosed and treated. The office staff was excellent in addition to the assistant and the doctors. I see why they are ranked so highly in the Hartford area...they deserve it! Thank you!!

I recently visited the Enfield office for an eye exam. Never being to an eye doctor in my 51 years, I wasnt sure what to expect. They sat me down and asked me to explain my issues and within 30 minutes they had it all figured out. Staff was great and very professional. 7 days later I went back for my glasses and happy to say they nailed it! I highly recommend them.

Dr. Chateauneuf has been treating me for about a year now, and I highly recommend her. Shes very kind and very competent. She also fine tuned my contact prescription, and nailed it!

I dont think that they even deserve one star, to be honest. I will never go back to this place. For starters, when I went in for my exam, the doctor spent barely any time with me. She gave me my script and I picked out a pair of glasses for myself. Just so you know, Ive had glasses for 17 years. I know how my eye adjust. When my glasses came in, I tried them on and instantly I knew something was different. I told them that the glasses were giving me a headache and things seemed blurry on the sides. They told me it was because it was a new prescription. I knew it wasnt. A few days later, it was still happening. My eyes had adjusted a little, but every time I put these glasses on, I feel my eyes straining to adjust. Then, I got contacts. Same thing was happening. Then, two days later, my right eye began to burn when using them. I went back in for a new pair and told them that I was experiencing burning in my right eye. I was told that the contact was probably dirty. I told them I couldnt keep my eye open and needed to take it out. They gave me a new pair of the same contact brand and again instant burning in my eye. I couldnt keep my eye open. I told the doctor and she told me to clean the contact. I did. It felt a little better, but it was still burning. I told the doctor this and she had me leave with those contacts. A few days later, I puts the contacts in my eye and again, the right contact was burning so badly that I couldnt keep my eyes open. I took out the contact and it had ripped in half, in my eye. I called to tell them, in a nice and respectful manner no less, and I was hung up on. A few days later I got a phone call from them about my contacts. I told them I wont be coming back. They are by far the worst service I have experienced and I wouldnt trust the abilities. I went to them because my insurance didnt cover my old eye doctor. It only covers a few eye doctors and they are supposed to be the best out of our Trinity Health options. I will not be going back to them. If youre looking for a new eye doctor, I suggest going to my old eye doctor. His name is Dr. Thomas Misiewicz. He is a great doctor and the staff is wonderful. I most certainly will be going back to him now. I will gladly pay out of pocket to know Im getting the best care that I can!

Double billed my two insurance companies. Eye med and anthem. I will be filing a complaint with the state of Connecticut. So not fair. Double dipping eye doctor. Stay away from them. Not worth the hassle.
