Since the first time I came to Skin Institute for rosacea treatments, I’ve always requested to be treated by Ashley Dominique. She’s the ultimate expert in everything that I’ve visited her for, and somehow both meticulous and nurturing. I highly recommend requesting Ashley if you’re a first time patient unsure of the dermatology world or even if you’re an experienced veteran. If it’s not obvious, I can’t recommend her enough because she’s a super talented practitioner and I’m pretty picky :)

This was my first visit and was treated by Dr. Lashgari. Will have to wait and see if prescriptions for my psoriasis help my condition. Wait time for appointment and visit acceptable. Doctor and staff attentive.

She suggested a different type of Botox that I have never used before and I could not be happier. Booked a visit video visit with Dr. Kannan through Zocdoc. The whole Zocdoc experience is a total circus. Providers are frequently not in network with insurance carriers they list on Zocdoc or their schedules aren’t anything close to what is listed on Zocdoc. This was no exception. The office called me to let me know that Dr. Kannan was actually not available on the day that I made my appointment through Zocdoc, so we postponed it one day. No big deal, but they really should keep the information they post online up-to-date.Dr. Kannan is pretty great, though. I was coming to her for a second opinion on the excision of a funky mole and she took time to explain my situation to me in detail and answer all my questions. I’m actually canceling my appointment with the dermatologist who diagnosed me and going to Dr. Kannan to do the excision.Sent from my iPhone

Ashley Dominique, the PA for the clinic is very professional and knowledgeable but also very attentive, kind and helpful. The clinic is very busy but Ashley listens and address all your concerns. She genuinely shows interest in your well being.

I was referred here by an urgent care facility for an allergic reaction causing a severe skin rash. I’m very happy with the service and treatment I received here. The check in was quick and simple and I was taken in right away. I saw Ashley Dominique and she was excellent. She made a quick and accurate diagnosis and explained very thoroughly what the course of treatment would be to clear it up. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Very professional Practice , staff make patients feel comfortable and Dr Tse is at the top of her specialty. I value her advice and appreciate her answering my questions and taking a personal interest in my skin care and well being.

Dr. Tse is lovely. She examined my area of concern and quickly put my mind at ease. She was running late. I did have to wait approximately 40 minutes past my appointment time. However, when you see a dermatologist who does procedures in the examining room, sometimes the doctor gets behind schedule. I would recommend booking your appointment on a day and time that you are flexible just in case.

Dr. Taylor is wonderful but the staff is not at all like what I experienced at Dr Yco’s original office. I was put on hold for 5 minutes; I call at various times of the day to make an appt or to confirm & I need to leave a message (unacceptable!); tell me they will get me right back for numbing cream and they don’t; go to check out & it takes a long time to get my balance & receipt. I won’t be returning to this office. Patients do not come first in my opinion.

Dr. Yco and Dr. Taylor and their great, professional team have been my go-to skin care specialists for many years. Their new office is spacious and highly stylized. A different feel than their previous place. But their service remains the same: highly professional, personalized, and caring. Best wishes for a smooth transition.

After waiting for almost 2 months to get in for an appointment, and driving for over 3.5 hours and 112 miles, and letting them know the freeway came to a standstill coming into Oceanside. I called the office to let them know of the situation. I was 30 minutes late and the doctor refused to see me, didn’t care at all that I was there for a medical issue. Office seems more interested in cosmetic services than medical. So I went over to my primary and they took me in on the spot.

I was in for a squamous excision. The nurse took great care and was generous with the local. Dr. Tse breezed through the procedure and I felt so little pain I thought she was yet to begin when she announced the last stitch was in. Her practice exudes a level of competence and efficiency that I’ve rarely seen in my 45 years in the medtech industry.

The worst Skin Institute ever. Ive been there twice because of my skin did not get better. they never sent my prescription to Pharmacy, the customer Service is terrible, I called them 4-5 times and left a message for the nurse and office manager they never called me back, so far I have not gotten any medication and calls and I should pay for DR. visit more than $100 while I wont get any result

Extremely thankful I went and got a second opinion after my appointment with Dr. Tse. Really had a poor experience as a patient of hers and will never be going back. Came in with a suggestion of my condition which she immediately let her ego squash my hypothesis and prescribed me the wrong medication for the wrong diagnosis which she didnt even go as far as taking a sample of. I went to North County Dermatology and had a night and day experience. The doctor was kind enough to take a simple sample of my issue and immediately could tell that I had a fungus which required a different medication than the one prescribed by Dr. Tse. Everyone else in the building was extremely friendly at CSI which raises the 0 star to a 2 star. I understand as a medical professional myself that Im not as valuable as a cosmetic/botox patient to the CSI as I am a medical patient but I will never forget the negative experience I had as a medical patient of Dr. Tse and I forewarn those going to CSI that are going there for a non-cosmetic treatment.

I love Kara and Dr. Yco and the staff. The only issue is its not as laid back and inviting as it was when Dr . Yco had his own office. Feels like I am getting a physical each time I go there as they ask for your weight everytime. Botox does NOT discriminate and it should not matter how tall or how much we weigh!
