I started going to the dental center here almost two years last instead of the dentist office in my area and I must say......Flint Hills is the BEST! I have had him problems since I had my daughter 8 years ago and I didnt much care for the office in my area so I had not had regular visits, which obviously didnt help my condition. Since I started going to Emporia Flint Hills Community Health Center for my dentist needs I have had regular cleanings which have improved my gums a ton. I have had to get a few fillings over the last couple years and let me just tell you I HATE NEEDLES and dentist offices. The dentist is always great though at Flint Hills. Every filling I have had the doctor got my gums numb before the numbing shot so there was almost no sensation even when I got the shots. Never felt any pain at all. I have had nothing but fantastic experiences and the procedures are always quick, efficient, tidy, and painless. My cleanings are always easy and I have never had any discomfort at all and I have extra plaque every time I go thanks to genetics. The nurses are kind, friendly, and helpful. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and at ease. The clinic also provides medical services and either side you go on you can be put on a sliding scale based on lots of different factors. Long story short I havent had to pay almost anything for any of my visits and I never had insurance. Go here to get yourself on the road to good mouth health!

Dr. Reagan Orr is a highly competent Dentist and one of the nicest health care professionals I have ever met! Dont see Samantha Zimmerman RN or Dr. Dilip Patel. Those two are the worst of the worst! They are a disgrace to our community! I should know. I am a former Masters in Biochemistry, RN and MD.If you care about your health, go elsewhere. I only trust Dr. Reagan Orr.My father was Lyon County Prosecutor and he said.There is only one defense for libel or slander and that is the Truth!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!Over-charged me, $600 to look at my teeth and take x-rays, and tell me they couldn’t fix my teeth there. THEY DIDNT DO ANYTHING! When I went somewhere else the x-rays were so bad they had to retake them...my information never got updated for the “sliding-fee scale” even though I told them I had no job and no place to live, I was charged as if I was working Full-time making $12/hr! Have never been able to get the issue resolved either. They sent the bill to a collection agency. Won’t even acknowledge the letters that have been written to them!!!! COMPLETE RIP OFF! DO NOT GO HERE!

My wife needed Dental work and she got an Appointment quickly and the Employees were all nice and helpful.

The dentist is a scam make me pay lot of money for one tooth and fix another one that didnt need to be fix

I had massive tooth pain over a weekend. When I called the dental office they rushed me right in with no appointment and were able to remove the agonizing problem. As I was unemployed they performed this service for me at no cost. I am very thankful to have this health center available as a local resource.
