My family and I take a 5 hour drive, to see Dr. Kriss. We have loved the work he has done and the care he has shown us. He is doing more then any other dentist we have visited in the past. Would definitely recommend

We cannot describe how appreciative we are for his care, compassion, and expertise.Moreover, he describes what needs to be done and is comfortable making referrals when an oral surgeon might be a good option.His bedside manner is pleasant, friendly, and unassuming. And, he was able to squeeze me in last minute at the same time as her when I couldnt get into my normal dentist in another county to fix my front tooth when it broke off (it had been rebuilt 15-16 years ago). Very grateful for all he has done for her and for me! Hes great, his staff is great, the office is very clean. Overall, highly recommend!

A great big thank you to Dr Kriss and his employees. I called on Monday and explained my dire situation and they were able to work me in on Tuesday! I had previously been his patient 7 years ago but had moved from the area and I had changed to another dentist. Amazingly, he still remembered me and happily accepted me back! Our son (9 years old) had (what we thought was) a bad toothache, and asked us to take him to see Dr. Kriss, because I need him to fix this (hes never had dental work done before, only cleanings). Come to find out, his permanent tooth was coming in, but the baby tooth hadnt fallen out yet, and something was pushing on a nerve. Dr. Kriss ended up pulling the tooth; he numbed everything so well that our son felt absolutely nothing, and was back to being himself a couple of hours later, proud to show everyone his tooth (huge!) and gaping hole in his gum... Dr. Kriss explained everything throughout the process; our son was never scared, and didnt feel a thing, and thinks Dr. Kriss is the best dentist. Our family agrees - we cant thank Dr. Kriss and his team enough for the great care they provide!

So speedy and painless. I have been afraid of the dentist for decades and had an extraction and filling. Everyone was very careful to be sure I was comfortable and not afraid. They also carefully checked with my insurance first to get me a breakdown of cost in advance so there would be no financial surprises either.

Even with the COVID pandemic, I was able to get in quickly and my appointment was less than an hour! Dr. Kriss and his dental assistant, his wife, were very professional and polite, while taking all necessary safety precautions to ensure their protection as well as my own. Highly recommend!

Had my first root canal at age 46. Dr Kriss took his time to make sure I was well numbed before starting and kept checking to see if I had any pain during the procedure which I did not. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how tastefully the office is decorated. The operatory is no less impressive. I was awed by the array of high technology that dazzled my eyes. The most amazing aspect of my dental experience was the dentist himself. I’ve been afraid of dental procedures my entire life. Dr. Kriss put me at ease, immediately. He’s gentle. He explains what he’s doing as it’s happening. He goes about his work skillfully. He’s a delight ! He offers options. I’ll never go anywhere else.

I went in for a cavity and it turns out I just have a sensitive tooth. But Dr. Kriss took the time to go over every X-ray and the pictures of all my teeth. I’ve never learned so much about my mouth or had a dentist that cared enough to teach me. The staff was so welcoming and sweet as can be. As a new patient, I could not have asked for a better experience!!!

I had sensitivity in an old filling, 4 different fillings actually and Dr. Kriss replaced them. During the injections I did not feel a thing and afterwards the fillings were polished so smooth, and all sensitivity was gone! The overall experience was GREAT! I am a the Site Coordinator for Communities in Schools at Logan Avenue. I have a student who needed to see the dentist. More importantly this students had some major past trauma from an experience with a dentist when he was younger. HE was terrified to go back to the dentist. Just talking about it he would cry and talk about how anxious he was. Dr. Kriss and Michelle and thier team were AMAZING. They were patient with this student, talking with him and reassuring him that he was safe. They let him know everything that was going to happen before it happened and even let him touch the tools. He felt safe and was so excited by the end of his visit. He came back to school and told everyone how AMAZING everyone at Dr. Kriss office was. HE said they are PROFESSIONALS. I have always been in and out of dental offices, my entire life since I was very little. I had very crooked teeth and then two of my teeth were infected and I was hospitalized. Needless to say, they had to be extracted. While I had my braces, the orthodontist were able to place “fake” ones and attach them to my braces but, once my braces were removed since the teeth are anterior ones, I went to Dr. Kriss’s Office for a partial. I was referred to him by my orthodontist and I am extremely happy I went there. Dr. Kriss was amazing at explaining things to me. He told me I would benefit from implants but, worked with me to make a partial denture because, I could not afford implants at the time. I still have the partial denture to this day and it is treating me good:) I also became a dental assistant after gaining an interest in the dental world from learning so much throughout the years and always thought of how amazing it would be to work for Dr. Kriss. I actually worked 3 yrs. at the dental office, at the health center in Eureka and then had my son and could no longer work there. 1 yr. after I was told by my friend Dr. Kriss was looking for a temporary assistant, while his left for Maternity leave. I took the offer as, it was around October and some extra Christmas money would do no harm. I can now say Dr. Kriss is an amazing dentist to have AND to work for. He truly loves and has a passion for helping others! He is not in it for the $. He actually loves helping others and is always very respectful and understanding of everyone’s different situations. Working for him was so amazing and I actually looked forward to going in everyday! Obviously, having never worked for him before made me nervous to mess up but, he was patient and never got mad. He always helped me learn how and why. I now go in to cover if needed and feel blessed to not only have reached a dream of mine but, to have met Dr. Kriss, his wife and the amazing staff that are always so upbeat and positive. Dr Kriss has been my dentist for a couple of decades now. For most of my life I had a real phobia when it came to dentistry. Even just getting my teeth cleaned had me sweating in the chair!When I first began going to Dr Kriss, I kept waiting for the pain that I was certain Id feel. But after all these years, and all my visits to his office, during which Ive had root canals done, crown work done, and most recently an extraction and bridgework completed, I can honestly say I have NEVER felt any pain whatsoever! Even the injections of lidocaine have been pain-free!Dr Kriss is an excellent dentist and at the top of his game! He personalizes the care he gives his patients, and its obvious he measures success by the satisfaction of each patient. If you are looking for a great dentist, I highly recommend Dr Kriss.And if youre really lucky, he just might play the ukelele for you! 🙂

Our daughter had a terrible toothache while my husband and I were on vacation. We called Dr. Kriss and he did a pulpectomy the next day, talking us through the whole thing on the phone since we couldnt be there. Our 9 year old went in crying in pain and walked out smiling and in awe because she didnt feel a thing! She wanted her big brother to go have the same thing done just to prove Dr. Tom could give him a shot and he wouldnt even know.His whole staff is kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. We enjoy our visits!

Bait and switch. Explained at time of appointment that I was traveling and only wanted a cleaning. I said another dentist had required an exam and xrays but I only wanted a cleaning. Janet said “I’ll put that in the request,” and quoted $89. Made appointment. Turned down other options. Arrived, filled out forms. Confirmed again only cleaning. Janet agreed. After I was seated, hygienist said an exam is legally required. $166 total. Dr Kriss negotiated down to a limited exam, $147 total. “Legal requirement” and “could lose my license” were repeated multiple times. In front of Dr Kriss, Janet said she knew an exam was required but “forgot” to inform me.Recommend you get a price upfront and insist they honor it, or seek a more ethical business. (I made an appointment with a student hygienist at Flint Hills Technical College for one eighth the cost.): : :Response response: I appreciate your prompt response and your concern for proper care. Please let me point out where your response does not address my complaint. My complaint was not that you were required to perform an exam. I was complaining you withheld that information until I was in the exam chair. I made it clear I was there for a cleaning only. The hygienist mentioned she saw where the receptionist wrote cleaning only on my papers.Your office behaved exactly as if youd instructed the receptionist Look if anyone calls for a cleaning just make the appointment. Well explain the requirements later. Doesnt matter if they state cleaning only multiple times. Just book the appointment. That kind of behavior is what I suggest should change.

I have been going to Dr. Kriss for 15 years. Dr. Kriss is a great dentist that is always looking out for your best interest. He is a great communicator that takes the time to explain what is going on with your teeth and what needs to be done to make them better. I would highly recommend Dr. Kriss to anyone who needs a great dentist.

I began having horrible tooth pain in the middle of the night. I called first thing in the morning and they had me in the exam chair by 8 am. I had a cracked tooth that required a root canal. I had never had one but was nervous just by the name of the procedure. Dr. Kriss did such a good job that it honestly wasnt much different than getting a filling..... just took a bit longer. I would highly recommend.

Dr Kriss is awesome, he is conservative in his approach, which saved me from getting a crown. Highly recommend!
