9/23/2021I dont know why this Dr is still in business.I have been going to the father when he was alive. Such a sweet man. After he passed I started seeing his son. I like the Doctor but staff Speaks to you in a condescending way.That does not sit right with me. Whoever the lady is where you buy your glasses she should retire because she has a bad attitude.Evidently doctor Panton does not read these reviews because if he did he should be cleaning house.Im looking for another Eye Dr and Im getting my records out of that building.

Horrible!!!!!! First of all, they do not use gloves while touching your eye(s) especially during the COVID pandemic. Also, the Doctor was intimidating, like his level of profession excused him from doing things that werent protocol. Very uncomfortable experience!!

Don’t listen to the 5 star reviews. They make you wait forever and are extremely rude. They don’t want you to sit in the lobby. Why are there so many seats and no one can sit in their ? Kicked me out while waiting for my younger brother because I couldn’t sit their. Front desk lady is extremely rude. When I say run, run ! No type of professionalism.

I needed cataract surgery on both eyes. Its a bit frightening at first, knowing both your eyes need to be operated on. The doctors and staff explained in calm detail the entire process and answered all questions I had. My left eye was done in January and the right about six weeks later. As I understand it, the timetable is different for everyone. I was told there would be minimal pain, the operation is done on an outpatient basis and recovery is fairly quick as long as I follow instructions. There were absolutely no surprises. After the first eye was done, the results were so good I wanted the other done as soon as possible. My vision is no longer cloudy and colors are vibrant again. Any pain I had was minimal and short lived, Ive had headaches that were worse.I will recommend Panton Eye Center to anyone I know who is in need. Thank You

Dr Panton and their staff are very professional and caring. Full service care for our eyes. We have been patients for over 20 years. My mothers recent cataract surgery was a huge success. They absolutely can handle your eye care needs.

I’ve been seen by all three doctors over the past few years and overall my visits have been good not great but good. Not because of bad news or anything like that but because of customer service. Not until my last visit and phone calls did I see truly what this establishment has to offer in a time where I seriously need help with my eyesNovember 2018: I visit the eye center because of double vision. I came right on time for my appointment, several minutes early even. I was made to wait in the lobby for 25 minutes. I over looked this because I do understand sometimes things are not perfect. I was then taken to a room where the nurse examined my eyes. 6 months earlier I was diagnosed with keratoconus by the doctor. He wanted me to check in again to see any progression. After the test I was then placed in an exam room where I waited and sat for another 45 minutes. I again over looked this. I watched as all three doctors milled about almost wondering if I was forgotten. I’ve see many complaints on other sites about this very problem with this establishment but overlooked it. I’m a very patient personWhen the doctor finally arrived he reviewed my chart after a brief chat about where I worked and also individuals we both knew. The doctor informed me that my condition had progressed and I was a prime candidate for cross linking. He mentioned to me how important it would be to have this done or my vision could and will worsen. Obviously I’m more than motivated at this point. He informed that I would get a call back in three weeks from the office. He needed time to send my results to BCBS because of coverage for this fairly new procedure.February 2019: You guessed it no call back. No contact what so ever. I called the office and explained the situation to the woman on the phone. During the call i got the impression she didn’t have a clue what I was taking about. It was as if nothing happened at all since November. She looked up my file and told me she’d call me back that day. You guessed again! Great job! She didn’t call me back. I called them, and the lady proceeded to tell me these things take several weeks I then told her it had been 6 weeks. She promised me she would send my files over and I would be contacted.Today April 8 2019: No call back. I called this morning and explained my situation and my frustration. No apology was given at all. I was asked the same questions as before, it was like I was a brand new customer and this was the first time I’d gone through this which let me know no file was kept of my eye issues no notes of my file being sent to BCBS. The lady told me she had to wait for Elizabeth and she would some how take care of all my problems, I just needed to wait for a call back. Once again no call back. I called them and Betsy or Becky picked up. I explained my situation and frustration all over again to Betsy/Becky and it was again as if I was never a patient there. A bunch of who are you what’s your date of birth? I’m not sure what going on? I am so frustrated right now. Especially since the doctor gave me the idea I could loose sight if I didn’t get it done.I’m very disappointed in this establishment very poor help was given to me in a time where I need them. I’m still having vision problems and I’m in search now for a new doctor. I feel foolish because I’ve wasted so much time trusting a doctor and his staff who did not deserve my trust. Make a calculated decision before you have anything major done here, please.

Did not like this eye doctor. Its like he didnt want to serve us. He gave my mom eye drops and did not explain for how long she has to put them on. Or what side effects she might have. Didnt explain anything. We were completely dissatisfied. I would not recommend this place to no one.

I have been coming to this doctor for 30 years and while the doctor is amazing his office staff is rude and condescending. Im seriously considering changing to a new doctor which is sad when Dr Panton is great and always taken care of my diabetic eyes.

This eye center is horrible. They ruined my wifes eyes and she paid for a very costly eye cataract surgery and is having even worse eye sight than before the procedure. I do not recommend this place.

This is not the place for nationalities who are of African decent. Ive watched the staff show favoritism by putting a white first. I personally witnessed a staff place this white lady first when a black woman was first in line. And on two separate occasions this racist place have seen patients who come in at their schedule appointment walk in to the exam room while again the African Americans sit and wait for over a hour while staff walks around as if nothing is wrong.........Run people Run...

Horrible customer service. Doesnt matter if you have an appointment. Waited over 2 hours to be seen! On two separate occasions. Will not be coming back.
