I called just a few minutes ago to make a dental appointment for my grandmother. A woman answered the phone so unprofessionally that I thought I had the wrong number. Before I could ask the general questions that I had, she forcefully told me to call back. She was so rude and dismissive. When I finally asked for her name, she HUNG up the phone on me. This is absolutely unacceptable.When I called back, a few seconds later, another lady, by the name of Joy, who seemed to be covering for her, answered the phone. Joy was friendlier but not helpful either. Joy told me the name of the lady that I probably spoke to was Dianna.Perhaps the dentists perform decent service here, but the receptionists here are incompetent, rude, and very unhelpful. I am so dissappointed that this is how business is conducted here.

Dr Pokorny makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Its like visiting an old friend.

I have a host of dental problems from just bad genetic luck. Three or four other dentists couldnt pin down what my problem was. At my first visit, Dr. Pokorny was able to diagnose what was causing all these problems - early stage gum disease. He got me referred to a periodontist and my issues have significantly decreased. Dr. Pokornys bedside manner is second to none. Its obvious that he cares about his patients. My husband has been going to Dr. Pokorny for his entire life and I can see why.Joy is Dr. Pokornys receptionist and I have had nothing but positive experiences with her - shes always been patient, kind and helpful to the best of her ability; never short, rude or dismissive with me.Do not confuse/conflate Dr. Pokornys practice with the other dentists (Sonkin) practice. As for the negative review, I dont know anything about the other dentist who practices here nor his receptionist.
