Im 10 years sober today and not a day goes by that I dont think about all the drs. and nurses that helped me.. and your rehabilitation program is phenomenal... Thank you for everything... Please read!!! St. joes rehab facility has the worse nursing staff. My mother was admitted on a Friday for rehabilitation after back surgery, she was unable to walk. On Friday she was complaining of a abdominal pain. As her daughter i was trying to advocate for her and figure out the issue. The. Nurses kept telling me her vitals are fine ans only emergencies over the weekend will contact a doctor. Every day she progressed to get worse. She could not speak on Saturday and Sunday because of her pain being so high. On Monday morning the doctor evaluated her and she was toxic from her medication that was given over the weekend. She had not urinated in 48 hours! She then had to be rushed to the emergency Room for dialysis. She then spent 2 days in ICU and thankfully has made a recovery but it is negligence on the nurses part at Saint Joes rehabilitation center and I would never ever recommend this place to anyone! Mind you this is all druring covid so I was unablebto go into hospital
