I have had nothing but good experiences with the doctors at East side medical the receptionist there is a couple there who are nothing but rude feel like youre being judged by them even when I said my doctor wants to see me at this time immediately due to an injury the receptionist still scheduled me out 5 months later and because of that I was unable to save my pinky I cut a tendon and was needed to be seen by the doctor very quickly and she scheduled me 5 months out and was very rude as of the doctors there every doctor Ive had there was excellent went beyond their job Im very satisfied with the care from the doctors the receptionists there Ive had nothing but bad experiences with

Allison and dr Gardner are great but after today I am no longer having my daughter be seen their. I live 45 minutes away and had an early appointment today for my daughter to get the flu shot and other vaccines and her 9 month check up, we were a little late with having a hard time getting both my kids and myself ready, when we got there and called the receptionist heather who refused to give me her last name said she’d have to see if the provider would still see my daughter, she came back literally a second later and said they wouldn’t see her. Then I ask to speak to someone above her and she places me on hold comes right back on and said thank you for calling dr Gardens office how can I help you I told her I literally just spoke to her and want to speak to the person above her she said I know but I would have to send them an email, are you kidding me! Like I would trust the person I’m trying to report to send someone an email to turn herself in?! Now my daughter will be without a flu vaccine and the others that she needs not to mention I work in a hospital! I also am unable to talk to her doctors about the concerns I’ve had and make sure she is ok with everything. To say I am upset is an understatement I have cried my eyes out for an hour now knowing my daughter was turned away from getting the medical care she needs. I am also upset that the woman responsible will not be healed accountable for her poor actions. She is clearly unwell in the head and should not be working around infants and children! Who pretends to be someone else on the phone to avoid responsibility?!

The second and third time I came for my daughters appt they rescheduled me and made me come back after driving 30 minutes to get here, when they couldve just called me both times and never did. Then today now that we finally had our third appt, they were about to give her shots and wanted me to sign papers without filling out which shots they were giving her! Then they gave her the shots before giving me the paperwork about the shots. Whats the point in giving someone paperwork about something after its already happened. Very unsatisfied with my experiences here. The only good thing was the doctor that seen her for 5-10 minutes. Everything else was horrible

I would NEVER recommend this place! My husband was doing good until he got a Dr in training and his scripts got all messed up she called them in WRONG im glad i read the bottles this caused us to establish someplace elseTRAINING DOCTORS SHOULD NEVER WRITE SCRIPTS WITHOUTR SUPERVISION FROM AN ACTUAL DOCTOR!!! plus the wairt is too long we should not still be waiting hours after our scheduled time

Excellent doctors and is a training catalyst for up and coming doctors. I enjoy the staff and would recommend this office to anyone.

Every doctor Ive had at Eastside is great very caring makes me feel that they care about my health

Tells me they’ll call in prescriptions and they don’t or they do and don’t tell me they’re writing me a prescription and I get a call from the pharmacy saying I need to pick up meds I have no idea what they’re for and then when I call to find out no one ever calls me backI started going here shortly before I got pregnant and then I was going there for prenatal visits as they have a new program thing with the women’s resource center on Fitch St and let me just say I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone especially anyone pregnant. Eastside is extremely polite but they have absolutely no clue what they’re doing. I just went to an intake appointment at Guthrie because I’m switching doctors and I learned so much that Eastside had never even brought up and they never even mentioned anything about a birth plan or anything. At around 18 weeks I believe; the doctors at Eastside used to Doppler to listen to the heartbeat. The first doctor didn’t know what she was doing or where to even put the Doppler, the second doctor I don’t even know what he was doing and then the third doctor found it immediately. It took them like a half an hour to grab the third doctor because they didn’t know what they were doing and in that time they made me so nervous about my baby that I cried and had a panic attack. Third doctor came in, found it and smugly said “baby’s fine relax”.I also don’t recommend the women’s resource center at 600 Fitch street as they don’t seem to really know too much about what they’re doing either as when I was asking important questions about how to combat nausea the doctor told me she didn’t know. The ultrasound technician was awful as well. They had a new girl do one of mine and she pushed down extremely hard on my belly and didn’t use nearly enough gel. I was in agony. The other lady who I usually got to do it will print you the most messed up pictures of your baby you could even imagine. At my anatomy scan (she didn’t print a picture of the gender either which was a bummer) she printed a photo of my baby that made him look like his spine was bent unnaturally and disturbingly. I understand it’s hard to get great u/s pictures but this photo had me in tears worried something was wrong. When I asked the doctor he said it was just a funny picture and that it was mostly her trying to get a picture of the placenta — uh why the hell would I want a picture of my placenta?? I want pictures of my baby!!Anyways honestly if you’re pregnant just go to Guthrie it’s worth the extra drive I promise! They are a bit stricter about your weight but it’s a good thing because Eastside and Women’s Resource NEVER told me that if your BMI reaches a certain number that some hospitals won’t deliever your baby as the delivery is much higher risk as you are higher risk for massive bleeding and other complications. Eastside never told me about that and never seemed concerned about my weight so therefore I wasn’t really concerned either and I wish I would have been because that would have been a lot easier to control earlier on that it is now that I’ve gained 30 pounds. Now I either can’t gain ANY more weight or I have to somehow lose weight while 24+ weeks pregnant.Just absolutely ridiculous!They’re extremely sweet and kind but they suck at their jobs.
