Care and comfort helped care for my husband. I would love to leave a 5 star rating but my experience over the years won’t allow me to do so. Carissa(Owner/director) Was never active in the position she held. I could never reach her and she always sent Lauren “to clean up the mess”. I felt so bad for the poor girl. She had to deal with a great deal of my yelling because I was so frustrated with Carissa, but she handled it with a smile.She has also cared for my husband at times when Carissa couldn’t find coverage . Sweet as pie and a very hard working but was being stretched thin. I recently terminated my services with care and comfort the caregiver stop responding and communicating with me. I will say that Lauren,Eren, Susan have been a breath of fresh air and the agency seem to be headed in the right direction. I would’ve preferred a better start But I think these gals will do great.

Three years ago I worked for C&C for a few month. I can tell that this was one of the best companies I worked for. Carissa and Lauren were very attentive to the needs of the client. Lauren even would sometimes make time out of her busy schedule and cook / grocery shop for the client(before I started). They were there for every little thing and my client Mr. & Mrs. Gardners were extremely happy with them. I was very impressed by their exceptional care for their clients.The company’s staff is very professional, extraordinary attentive, amazingly caring people.After my client passed away I had a job offer from my friend to work for her mom so I left the company. After reading one negative review I decided to write my review so people know that if you go this company they will take care of your loved ones as their own. These people truly care for their clients. It was such a blessing that I was part of such a great team sincerely dedicated to their work.

I was overwhelmed with the idea of starting care for my father. Let’s just say he wanted a specific caregiver and this agency worked hard to provide us with a great caregiver. I changed my mind a million times Because I wanted to make the best choice for dad. One Morning I called at 3 o’clock AM to make a change in the care plan,Lauren answered! She listened and knew the right things to say (Yes 3AM)The managers are available 24 hours! I would recommend this Agency for anyone seeking help.

My mother-in-law received excellent care from 2 different Care and Comfort caregivers. Both Lisa B. and Olivia N. helped our family considerably during the short time my mother-in-law was at home receiving hospice care. Not only did they provide kind, considerate, and attentive care for her, they also helped out with chores around the house. On multiple occasions, Lisa completed tasks before I even thought to ask for her help. She went above and beyond my expectations. To be truthful, I was very overwhelmed and scared with the idea of bringing my mother-in-law home to die in her house; I could not have gotten through it without the help from Lisa and Olivia. Not only did the staff help with my mother-in-law, they were extremely supportive of our entire family. They did a great job coordinating with the hospice team. We chose to have live in services which worked out well. We were able to quickly and easily set up services. There were no difficulties with billing. The office was easy to reach, and staff answered my questions when I contacted them after my mother-in-law passed away. Based on my experience, I recommend this agency to other families.

I highly recommend Care and Comfort at Home for Seniors and Veterans if you have a loved one who needs in-home care. My sister’s Caregivers were extremely skilled, compassionate, supportive and friendly professionals. These ladies protected my sister’s dignity and were a blessing to her, especially in her final days.Without warning my sister was diagnosed with a very serious illness that required her to have 24/7 live-in care to remain at home. I called Care and Comfort at Home because I trusted that they would provide excellent care for my sister. With just 2 days’ notice, the management team at Care and Comfort at Home were able to match my sister with 2 excellent Caregivers.Managers, Eren, Suzette, Lauren, and Cheryl were professional and supportive. They communicated promptly and effectively with me and my family. They also coordinated with my sister’s Hospice team, which allowed the family to spend more time with my sister.My sister was able to live out the remainder of her life in the home that she loved surrounded by her family and friends. She felt safe and comforted and loved. We could not have brought my sister home without the dedicated, experienced and supportive team at Care and Comfort at Home for Seniors and Veterans. Thank you, Care and Comfort. You are our angels.

C&C has been caring for my mom. They do a wonderful job, have great employees and are very responsive to any concerns.

I was exhilarated when I ran into Lauren recently while visiting a friend at a local Assisted Living facility! She shared that she was no longer a caregiver, but has taken a office position with Care and Comfort. Lauren took care of my father. We found ourselves at a breaking point, deciding if him staying home would be a good idea. Lauren made that decision easy for us! She lived-in with my dad 5 days out of the week. She became part of the family. This was her calling!!! Im happy to know that she has grown in the company. I would recommend Care and Comfort to anyone seeking help for their loved ones.

Care and Comfort provided care for my mother and sister for the last year and one half. I was always confident that they were being taken care of the way I would have done myself. The last few months were difficult as my mothers health declined. I found that I could call and change or extend coverage as needed. Someone always was there to answer the phone or return my call in a few minutes. In the end, as Mom entered her last days, Moms caretaker was tending to my emotional needs as well. She became a friend, and understood what I was going through at the time. The administration (Lauren) was involved and readily reachable at all times. Lauren visited Mom and took time to help me personally handle the changing situation. Now that Mom is gone, and my sister is in a skilled nursing facility, I miss my daily interaction with Care and Comfort. I cant think of how my mother and sister and I could have been better treated. I highly recommend Care and Comfort at Home for Seniors and Veterans.

We had an immediate need for extra care for my husband on a weekend. When calling Care and Comfort they responded immediately and with great compassion and concern. They provided someone that very night and for many days going forward. We had several different helpers day and night, weekends and weekdays, each was professional and compassionate. If a ten were possible I would be giving them a ten. Thank you so much.

A wonderful service! I used Care & Comfort at Home for my Dad (a WW II veteran) when he was living with me. The caregivers are understanding, patient, and well-qualified to care for seniors. I especially liked the flexibility — I often was able to get a caregiver to come over at a moments notice. I could use their services for just a few hours... or for more than 24 hours! Thanks to their quality care, it gave me great peace of mind when I had to leave the house or wanted to go away on an extended family vacation... I knew Dad would be in good hands. I highly recommend Care & Comfort at Home!

We are extremely unhappy with them, and let me tell you why:1) They are late. 5-10 minutes is understandable, but when they are anywhere between 25-45 (yes, 45!!) minutes late, its unacceptable. And multiple times--at least 4 times, causing us to be late to work because my grandma cannot answer the door by herself so we could not leave when we needed to. Additionally, when their caregivers are late, we did not even get courtesy calls. We had to call them to be like, ???, and then wed hear oh, they went to the wrong address or oh, their car didnt start but this was never communicated to us until WE called. This tardiness is also not specific to one girl; there is only one caretaker who was consistently on time but we have a HUGE issue with her work ethic, which leads us to...2) Laziness! The company puts in its bio that their caregivers will do light housework for their patients. My 92-year-old grandmother (93 in two weeks, go her!) asked this caretaker to put away the clean dishes. She responded thats not her job, unless she herself ate something. That in and of itself is weird, but then the kicker was that my grandma did not want to wait to have them put away, so she got up and started doing them. The lady STILL DID NOT HELP even after her patient got up and walked (she needs a walker to take a few steps, and a wheelchair for any longer trips) herself to the dishwasher and started putting them away. It was only after my grandmother had put away about half before she became too tired that this lady stepped in. Seriously?? Our coverage needs are about 3-4 hours a day, and if she cannot be bothered to do anything during that time, whats the point of her?3) Fudging hours. This is a biggie. In the last three months alone, weve had to have four invoices adjusted because caretakers were calling in from their mobile phones before they arrived at the house. As I mentioned earlier, we stay at the house until the caretaker gets there, and we have records of when they actually show up & leave. One of the girls that was consistently late kept putting in her hours that she was there before the arranged time! Luckily Care & Comfort itself was amenable to modifying the bills to show accurate times.So needless to say, we are completely done with this service. I will say their administrators and schedulers are fine, but that cant make up for the bad care. If you want to use them, thats your prerogative, but we highly suggest you look elsewhere if you actually want caregivers who are punctual, honest, and actually help their clients.

I live about 300 miles away from my elderly aunt. Theres no way I can adequately care for her in a way that she and her sister (my mother) would find satisfactory. When I found Carissa at C & C it was like I found an old family friend. She removed all doubts about a stranger entering Aunt Ednas house. Ever since, Edna has been very happy -- and Mom thinks I am smart. Everybody wins! Highly recommend.

The office staff and managers at Care and Comfort at Home give 100% plus in their effort to meet demanding schedules and select caregivers with the experience and qualifications to meet my husbands needs.
