I went in for the last minute offer deal for full body massage and also got the oil treatment. Whats nice is if you specify you need a deep massage in a certain area like shoulders and neck they will place you with a specialist in that area. Nice quiet place with friendly professional staff.

Very friendly staff and great massage! The only bad note I have is that the masseuse didnt wash her hands after working on my feet. During every other massage Ive had at a hand and stone (different locations) they have washed their hands during the massage, once they finish working on my feet. Ive had one tell me its more hygienic this way, especially because the next area they usually work on is shoulder/ head/face.

They have great facials and massages. If you join the membership then it’s really inexpensive if you find a Massuse you like. Then make sure you state that in your reservation

It was basic and for the extra stuff they charge too much, Ive had better for a way more reasonalbe price, but the experience was great.

All of the staff were very nice and welcoming, very sweet girls so this is nothing of their fault. Place is clean and nice. However I wasn’t impressed. I got a 50 minute introductory massage. My massage therapist seemed inexperienced and unfamiliar with correct muscle pressure points etc. Pressure was either almost nothing or painful, and i can handle pain when it is being inflicted on my muscles in order to relieve tightness. She was very sweet though and probably just new so I didn’t make an issue of it, but will bring my business elsewhere probably to a physical therapist in a small local place where the therapists have lots of experience and familiar with entire musco-skeletal system, rather than a chain business.

Great experience at hand and stone Elmhurst! I have been to many hand and stone locations, this one definitely has the friendliest staff. The spa is so clean and welcoming and my husband and I both had fabulous massages. We live far but purchased the membership to make monthly date nights here. Thank you to Jim and staff for a wonderful experience!

The place is clean, comforting and the staff is super friendly! I havent had such a therapeutic massage in years! A trained and professional massage therapist like Greg knows right away what pressure and techniques to apply and he did just that. I feel great and hope to be a regular client.

Let me say that This is my first bad experience at this hand & stone, the owner is great. On this visit, My massage therapist (Sandra) was late, the Manager was great, she kept me informed & I did not have to pay for my upgraded service, however I feel that Sandra was rushing because she was late, the room was freezing & I told her that I was cold & she did not adjust the room temperature, she just gave me another sheet. The massage should have been 80 minutes, but maybe because she was late she didn’t realize it so my massage was only 45 min & she appeared to be more concerned with where I purchased my blouse than being attentive to me, the client. I was not at all happy with my massage. I don’t have an issue with the establishment or the owner, this was a bad experience with the therapist.

I had Nikki for my massage. She was very professional and always asked me how the pressure was when she went to different parts of my body which was nice. Me and my boyfriend got the couples massage and both of them were very professional and they knew what they were doing. Granted, we don’t get massages often but we really enjoyed it. This review is based solely on my massage therapist Nicole, who was phenomenal. Well informed and really help me with my lower back and sciatic issue. I’m currently in agonizing pain because of her work, but it’s a good pain more so than the annoying chronic pain I’ve been dealing with. I’m sure he’ll take several treatments along with it my other methods of dealing with my injury, but Nicole is top notch. I highly recommend if you’re going to this location to ask for Nicole. Best of luck in your endeavors in case we don’t meet again.

I’ve only been here once and my massage therapist was Chris about a year ago. Bottom line, it was one of the BEST massages I have EVER had in me entire life! I normally go to Mario Tricoci but decided I will no longer go there.I called to come in and see him today and was saddened to know he is no longer with them.If anyone knows where he might have relocated, please let me know.

This business is punctual. The therapist I worked with communicated very well. The pressure was perfect and all of the areas I requested to be focuses on were covered throughly. An added scalp massage and plantar fasciitis massage were great pluses!!!

The atmosphere was comfortable the entire time and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! I especially loved Angela as my aesthetician!

Ive been a member here for about 2 years now. I really like this facility. The staff makes an effort to get to know you. They are professional and very nice. The rooms are well insulated so you get a sense of peace and quiet during your massage. They offer a wide variety of facials as well. I appreciate that H&S vary their techniques and offer new products to customers. The microdermal infusion facial is awesome!

This was not my first visit to H&S and I must say that it was fine this time as well in terms of cleanliness, social distancing, wearing mask etc., but I feel that my therapist might have been new and wasn’t quite what I had become accustomed to. She was very nice but I think she wasn’t sure of herself or maybe it was the hot stone massage.

I have had nothing but excellent massages at Hand & Stone in Elmhurst. From Dameka sweetly thanking my muscles when they loosen up, to Sam working out the kinks, but yesterday I was blown away by Jarvis... he stretched out my muscles and slowly worked them loose. I feel like a new person! He is a miracle worker!

I truly had an amazing experience. I just had a baby a few months ago and was looking for a little pampering. I made an appointment with Eyelyn I had to confirm it with a credit card when I called back they all booked my appointment with someone else because I didn’t call in a timely matter. My wife and I went for a couples massage at the Elmhurst facility on York in Illinois. My wife enjoyed hers. Mine however was by far the worst massage experience I have ever had. I felt as though the therapist was disgusted by having to put her hands on me. She was awful. She was doing the old “karate chop” massage on me it was almost comical except I was paying for it. She acted so disgusted she even stopped and washed her hands during the massage . I will never return nor would I recommend this place to anyone.... Horrible horrible experience....

I began visiting Hand & Stone in Elmhurst for massages once per month as I was strength training at LA Fitness and the massage after a heavy lift was great. I ended up using most of my packages on facials; however, as I had never gotten a facial before and was recommended one by my girlfriend. I see the same aesthetician each time because of the great job she always does.I had to freeze my account due to the financial uncertainty of the COVID-19 issues but plan to return once things smooth out on my end. Highly recommended and always great, prompt service.

Sunday morning.(Erica.)..she seem like she was trying to make a excuse. I have found several really good therapists here. However, I have recently had two scheduling issues- one where the scheduler double booked (and I was the odd man out) and yesterday I got a 50 minute massage when I had booked an 80 minute massage). I wish they would ensure my appointment time is correct vs. spending so much time trying to upsell me.

Beautiful facility; Therapist more mechanical then therapeutic. She had the mechanics down but there was no other connection. And, she didnt really listen to my preferences. I asked for full body and got 2-3 minutes on head, neck, feet and hands. She also missed most trigger points, just moved around where they should be - not paying attention to where they really were. Every body is different and a good therapist needs to be tuned into each client.

The place is clean and nice, the staff was friendly and my massage from Stephen was amazing! It was my first time there and my boyfriend and I were sooo excited to do a couples massage. However, we got there and they had overbooked the couples room and we had to go in separately. It was not the experience that we were hoping for and unfortunately it was our first experience there which left a bad taste in our mouths. Massages are not cheap and when you plan something like that, its nice for things to go the way you planned them.

I had a facial (my first one!) with Slavica and she was absolutely phenomenal. Ive been coming here for over a year as a member for massages, but had not given facials a try. Im now going to have a hard time deciding each month which one I want to do! Slavica was so wonderful, she took the time to answer my questions and did a great job of explaining everything she was doing and why. I had an excellent massage with Myrna, and Im very picky about massages, so thats saying something! The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the facilities are clean and attractive. I had a facial here last month, and that was good, too, although I dont know that much about facials. And did I mention that, with the membership, the price cant be beat!

I just wanted to take a minute and share with you all how amazing my experience was at the Elmhurst Location with Aly yesterday 2.6.2020. I have been to a few different Hand and Stone locations, all great, however yesterday was THE BEST experience by far. As someone who has worked a lot of retail in their time i genuinely appreciated the way Aly up-sold an additional service, obviously people can be very pushy, they have goals and quotas to hit, but that was not at all the case with Aly yesterday. She offered an upgraded service that was extremely beneficial to my facial. It was the Dermal Infusion. I woke up this morning absolutely glowing. My skin feels so hydrated, i am ALWAYS on the dry side especially in the winter. She focused on not just my face but, lips, eye lids, and neck. I just could not believe how amazing this entire experience was. She was extremely real, down to earth, and gave an amazing facial. I would recommend 100/10 for anyone to go and see her, and have this service done. It is on the more expensive side, but WELL worth it. If i could afford to do this bi-weekly or even monthly i would because it was hands down that AMAZING!

Almost cancelled my appointment, so very glad I didnt. My experience was nothing short of amazing from the minute I arrived. I feel 1,000% better, I even signed up for a monthly program. I was able to fortunately have Nicole as my therapist.
