The company does not explain in the hiring process that you will not get paid if your client is not available. They do advertise abundantly during the hiring process the money you would make per year etc. To me this is false information and to a single mom part time hours do not cut it in a world where the hours are not even covering my gas to start my car. After reading the reviews I wish I had done so earlier. In a field like this you would think one would want to be honest and truthful. Especially when the client has gotten used to or comfortable with said employees. I had high hopes however those have been quickly squashed.

This is my horrible experience with total spectrum. So, THEY reached out to me on indeed and told me that there was impressed by the resume. They were interested in the fact that Im fluent in American Sign Language and explained to them why I use it and etc.. I was asked if I was willing to be a staff interpreter and I told them no because of the fact that I am not a certified interpreter and its not my job. I would feel comfortable if they hired a CERTIFIED INTERPRETER.So, after the video interview I informed them on the hours that I was willing to work and the days due to me being a full-time student, having other commitments and two other jobs. They were fine and etc.. Then, I was given an orientation and it was fine. After the 4 hour orientation, I was sent on my way to go home and complete the online videos.Upon starting and completing the videos, it was difficult for one the videos were not accessible to me. There were no CC (Closed Captions). I told them before being hired on that Im Deaf so why would it make sense to have me watch videos with no CC? The videos were very long and strenuous. Most of them lasting up to 2 hours per section. After completing the videos, I was then given a shadow date and time which was last minute. I arrived to the clients house at 8am knowing that I had just completed the online training videos at 2am the same morning when I had to be up at 6:30 am. The shadow session was 4 and half hours.! FYI, prior to this was NOT told what I could and could not do during the shadow session. After the session was complete; 3 days later, I received a call from one of the supervisors saying that the person I was shadowing reported that I was asleep, playing with the childs toys and constantly on my phone. Which 2 of these 3 were a lie. I was NOT playing with any toys. I picked up a book and skimmed through it and sat it back down on the table. 2, I was NOT asleep I was awake the ENTIRE time. and 3, yes I was checking my phone because there was a family emergency in which resulted in my mother ending up in the hospital. After 2 weeks of orientation and online training I was let go and was not given a chance to even explain what actually happened during the shadow session. I would not recommend them to anyone; not my friends, cohorts, peers, or associates. My email was disabled before they called me to fire me. So now, I have no way of getting on contact with anyone in regards to being paid for all the training Ive done both in-person and online.

Total Spectrum is an excellent place to work. The office staff an clinical staff alike are collaborative and share a team mindset. Upper management will recognize your hard work and excellent performance. I have never seen someones work go unnoticed here. I have been with the company for 3 and a half years and have loved every minute of it. Watching the company grow and growing with it has been a very rewarding experience. I am so grateful to work for a company that treats me with respect. We are one big family here!

I truly did not like working for this company. I started out with this company and they made it seem like it was going to be so great. I waited two months just to get clients. So for two months I was employed but had absolutely no hours. After, they said I will have two clients amd after playing the waiting game they told me I only now have one. After working with one client they cut my hours down to where I was only working 9 hours a week. I constantly asked for more hours and was denied. One of the workers told me I would have a new client and then after a while took me off without even telling me. Working for this company was truly a waste of my time and they did not care about me at all. What was worse when I was training a new coworker she told me she already had 4 clients in the area and she just got hired. So here I am asking for more hours and being denied and they hire someone and give them the hours I was asking for. Truly did not like this company and they really wasted my time. I did really enjoy working with the one family I actually got they were great! I wish they would have just told me from the beginning so I could have also applied else where or figured someone else out.

Giving three stars solely because I really enjoyed working here. It was fun and I learned ATON. However there were some issues solely through corporate that I had problems with. First off, pay. You can make significantly more money as an RBT at any other aba company. Second of all, false advertising to get new employees. They say you get paid for training.. its a stipend, and its a stipend of significantly less money then you would be making if you were paid by the hour for training because you spend SO MANY hours on training and get barely any money for it. Also they tell you that you get reimbursed for mileage. This is true BUT ONLY if you drive over 30 miles a day. If you drive 29 miles a day, nope your not reimbursed. And if you drive 32 miles a day, your only reimbursed those 2 extra miles and its only at half of your hourly rate. They need to be more specific in their job listings because it seriously gives new employees a false image of what they will actually be given.Lastly, communication from their corporate office is horrendous. I got a full time job and I was no longer able to work at total spectrum so I emailed the scheduling department to give them my two weeks notice, I didnt get a response at all. Instead, I heard from the family that I was a therapist for that they cancelled all of my upcoming sessions with them because I had quit when in reality I told them I was resigning and able to work my last two weeks. When I went to login to my work email, it said that account no longer existed. Very strange, and 2 months later I still have my total spectrum iPad they provide you with because they never contacted me about the steps and processes of leaving. Very unorganized and seemed spiteful towards me for leaving.

Ive been an employee at TS for a few months now and I could not be happier! There is plenty of room for growth, the in-house communication is amazing, and it is very clear that each and every employee cares about the families we work with.

They have a very difficult time keeping RPTs. They pay RPTs significantly less than other companies. High turnover is really difficult for children. Stopped services despite Psychatrists disapproval.
