Darlenes yoga classes are more than just yoga. I always leave feeling physically better, mentally in a better place after hearing her inspirational words, and with techniques that help me throughout the week.I met Darlene when I took her pregnancy yoga class and found that the wealth of information she provided throughout the sessions guided me through a healthy pregnancy and a wonderful natural birth experience.Years later, I have continued to take classes with Darlene and find her knowledge just as helpful as ever for living a healthy and positive life. I cant recommend her enough.

We worked with Darlene for our daughters 5th virtual birthday party. She was very professional before the party and during the party. We had a consultation meeting, exchanged text/email to discuss details. Darlene shared her experience, tips, recommendations. 70+ people were invited and we had 40+ attendees at Zoom and party was so much fun and success. Darlene crated a beautiful story using my daughters favorite things: sea animals, unicorns and the Octonauts. My back was locked up from years of riding horses. I met this wonderful woman with magic hands! I walked out feeling soooo much better! If you have never experienced MFR, she’s the one to start with! She’s genuine, knowledgeable and very good at helping you.

I work with AuPairCare and care for a group of local au pairs in Virginia. Darlene offered to teach a virtual yoga class to my group, and they LOVED it. She was very personable and was able to connect with all of us, even within the Zoom format. She took the time to really understand her audience and tweaked the class to suit their unique situation and perspective AND she really knows her stuff! Love yoga class with Darlene! We did virtual yoga during the pandemic and it definitely helped me get in some exercise and also focus on being positive while so many terrible things are happening in the world. She is very knowledgeable about different stretches and positions to target specific muscles or areas that you may have pain. Every class is different and brings new challenges and insight.

Darlene Bergener is a highly-trained, versatile, energetic, dedicated myofascial release (MFR) massage therapist who demonstrated persistence that enabled her to quickly get to the root-cause of the pain, tightness and restrictions that I was experiencing due to trauma to my hip and leg. I appreciate her consistent and fine-tuned approach to ‘checking-in’ with me before, during, and after a session as she became a detective, of sorts, in gathering information which, in my case, led her to the origins and source of my problem - fascia restrictions in my lower back. She then applied the knowledge of my issues to her knowledge of anatomy and fascia to deliver a massage therapy that was strategic and focused -- and so appreicated after months and months of pain and stiffness.We know that the body and mind are highly complex systems. I personally feel that Darlene’s engineering background coupled with her own life-story give her the ability to be the highly effective therapist that she is!Maria

I have been seeing Darlene regularly for several months. I unfortunately suffer from Fibromyalgia and had not found anyone that could help me with the pain in my muscles until I met her. I tried regular massage therapists but while I always left feeling good, the pain actually seemed to get worse shortly afterwards. Darlene is definitely the most knowledgeable massage therapist I ever went to and has truly helped me. She is very professional and just a great therapist. Darlene is the best at what she does..She is very knowledgeable about the body and educates during the process..if you are in pain or out of alignment she is a true healer..Even my kids ask to go see her when they have sport injuries..If you have never had a myofascial treatment you must try it..no words truly describe the relief and relaxation you feel afterwards unless you try it yourself.
