Amanda was extremely rude and humiliated me!!! First she told me she wasnt going to help me with rental assistance but still kept asking questions. She began raising her voice at me and eventually ended yelling at me!!! I have PTSD and anxiety and with her doing that I had to contact my therapist for a session. Its very unfortunate that you have her working for you guys. Now I know why many people wont get help no matter how much they need it. Its people like Amanda that make you feel way much worse than you already feel!!!

1 Lunches are not all that great, when you rarely need help but when you do show up in the moment during very hard times and when you are trying so hard to get back on your feet, they just don’t bother to help you and then take a picture of everyone without their permission first and do it just to do it and disrespect people that are just trying to get help.

My husband and I are an elderly couple and they treated us so bad when we went to F.I.S.H. Thrift. We stated we need a bed because cant sleep on floor. Then said we had to give money donation and we go in trailer and get bed. They had alot of frames but we would be happy with the basic metal frame. He said no that cost more money. So we did not get frame in order to be able to get out of bed.He said you get this small twin box spring and a smaller than twin dirty moldy thin mattress. We had to load it on top of van by ourselves. It was ok because it was so lightweight. We were in shock the way we were being treated. We told him that we both couldnt fit on that little childs bed. He said thats what you get even though they had a trailer full of bigger clean mattresses. So we left and we have to dispose of this trash bed somehow.

Good thrift store, well organized. The prices are pretty steep on items like shoes and used appliances. The community really needs affordable clothes and its really sad when certain items are cheaper at Walmart then the thrift store. That being said its a great place overall. Good selection, wide range of sizes, inventory is changed often, and they do a lot of good with their food bank.

Have regular (not designer) jeans for $1, several racks full. Good place for coats and clothes. Shoes seem a bit pricey. DVDs are $1. Need better labeling/sizing of linens. Books are not categorized except some cookbooks which are in the cookware section. Bikes, gardening stuff, appliances, exercise equipment, BBQs, etc. are kept outside or in back..ask for assistance if you dont see what you need inside. FISH does a lot for local community-jobs, shelter, soup kitchen..so money spent stays to help locals in need.

They have a pretty steady stream of donations, so theres usually a lot of stuff in there. They do a fair amount for the community (especially for low-income and homeless), which is commendable. Its hit-or-miss when it comes to negotiating prices—sometimes they will haggle and other times, no.

Worst place to turn to when in need of help dont go! Dont let their sweet talking fool you no one truly wants to help the down trotted they are just power hungry savages who pray on the weak and helpless. And when they do help they do it with such a bitterness this program needs to fire all its staff and hire people who do want to help the needy! Your abusing Gods people by lieing to them and telling them you need them to help the needy I hope God fully punishes you for the way you are and all the horrible thing that you have done!
