Waited three (3) days to meet one of two (2) ladies who supposedly exist, to no avail. Always busy, I was told. (Busy morning, afternoon, and night? I’m skeptical of such a claim, but I’ll take them at their word.) After patiently visiting and buying drinks over the course of two and a half days, common courtesy might dictate an offer to make an appointment. Especially after I indicated having driven for 20 hours to visit, with my time fleeing. Moreover, if my business was not wanted, offer the forthrightness of telling me so. (Not that my appearance, behavior, patience, or willingness to spend would logically elicit such a response.) … They routinely fail to answer the door for customers, and personally I found it embarrassing to be standing out front on three occasions without acknowledgment… If a lady you’re not interested in is lurking about as one attempts to enjoy a lager while awaiting a companion of choice, my experience suggests she will be unwilling to accept a polite and repeated “no” for an answer. (The bartender was pretty friendly, so that’s one positive thing I can say.)Reflecting upon what for me was a regrettably poor choice of a post-pandemic reintroduction to social interaction. Time is the most valuable thing you have, because you can’t get it back. I leave with the feeling that much of mine was lost here, and that businesses like this are something of a bygone era, obsolete and uncomfortable. If my time and potentially money are squandered yet again in this lifetime, it won’t be here.
