I worked here as a housekeeper for a little bit before and it was a good experience. The coworkers were pretty nice to me although there was background drama. The residents were really nice as well (at least most of them) but sometimes I would hear that an aid or nurse wasn’t doing there job properly so I feel sorry for some residents there.

I live here and theres alot of drama. The people are walking out thats worked here since Ive been in here along time . Ive been here 12 yrs. This hurts the residents. Plus the lockdown that were in again. This makes 3 yrs that we havent been out the door to sit outside in or around the area. There has to be something done.

Let my grandmother fall out of bed (she needed 27 stitches in her head) and failed to tell my aunt that my grandmother had COVID. Worst nursing home by far.

I was employed with Golden for a full year and two months as the company’s Certified Dietary Manager.I accepted this position because I wanted to make a change and improve the quality of life for so many seems desolate elderly and disadvantaged individuals.I took this position seriously working relentlessly hours upon hours even 11 day in a row commitments assure that our department stayed on top! toProve sanitation in our department and retaining employees. I worked with passion and dignity and I. A highly ethical manner.I met my challenge after our State Board of Health thoroughly inspected my department with no deficiencies.The very next day my labor hours were cut literally in almost half. And all compensation for our staff to work extra dissappeared!Yet I stillKept my loyal staff and worked hard to care aboutour department.So I asked for more staff to provide quality of customer service and provide a possible person directed program did not happenI resigned am and now working in a great beutiful person directed care home for our elderly how rewarding! I do pray for all of our lost ones in the nursing homes across the United States I was never compensated by the company for all of the extra hours I put in I have a 30 day notice and worked many many extra hours on salary the company never paid me my regular salary how wrong! I give the corporation a 1 star only for our direct nursing care at this point no management what to speak god bless our elderly

I find there staff to be lacking in many ways!

Top notch facility. Any one looking for short or long term care for a loved one will find everything they are looking for here! I would recommend Golden Living to anyone after the way they handled my great grand father. Thank you to the great staff!

My kids grandmother is in here and just being there a day they have not given her the medicine she has to get every 6 hours. There were some very rude workers. And the food is terrible as well. I will not ever recommend this place. Not even to my worst enemy.

Dont ever pick this nursing/ rehab choice 4 your love one to be at.u will regret it bad over all care my brother in law was suppose to receive 6 wks theaphy didnt get any help on that.disappointed they kept a,urine cather in him cause they didnt help him to use his bathroom or shower neither a joke! the staff fair & Dr Rogers was a joke too! We made this mistake thought he would get the care that he paid 4 they need to close the place down with a few law suits unreal

This place is an absolute JOKE. between missing clothes, ruined shoes they were supposed to replace over 3 months ago, taking paitents WHO ARE WHEEL CHAIR BOUND to the wrong drs appointments and then leaving them there for HOURS so they soil themselves, puddles of water on the floor ignored even after its beeen brought to their attention causing vistors to slip and injure themselves... the list goes on. i have given this place the benefit of the doubt so many times and ive had enough of the never ending excuses they provide for their negligence. this facility either needs to be shut down or restaffed entirely (including the director and adminstrative staff) with people who actually care about caring for people who need help. it is a shame how they treat the elderly and their residents.

As I walked in the front door, I smelled urine, I could see and hear a nurse/or aid cussing and going on about another employee at the front desk. As I walked through the facility I noticed that a couple of the residents were needing assistance getting from point A to point B and no staff was around to help them at the time. My personal family experience was not good...When a resident needs medical help or needs assistance with a task that most of us take for granted. ( like going to the restroom or having medical treatment) The resident is talked to in a manner that is not acceptable and treated as if they are less than a human. A little compassion and smile can go a long way to someone who is struggling to just get through another day. I will be praying for the residents, staff, and the facility. I am concerned for those who have no choice but to stay there. I pray for their protection.

If any one but some over to golden living make sure you put your name in your cloths because if you dont and the laundry person pick up and take to the laundry there are good chance that you will not get your cloths back and no matter how much you complain about it to the head boss they have you fill out a piece paper on it but they say there going to investigate it but they do not do anything about it at all and they will not replace your money for it at all they lie about everything they say if they was true and honest about everything they they would replace it or give you money back to you

Most of the nurses there gossip and cuss. I was there visiting my mother and I could hear them from down the hall on a few occasions. I wouldnt suggest this place.

Would not refer anyone there

Worst Place to work at !!!!!!!! Always under staff .
