I am a fairly new patient who was pleased with my first intake visit. Unfortunately, I went today for a sick visit and was extremely disappointed. Imagine, feeling sick waiting over 10 minutes on a phone hold with the office , outside the building, for someone to let me in for my appointment. Finally , I was let in and put in a room. The doctor came in shortly. She asked me my symptoms - temperature, sore throat, body aches, cough, ear soreness, and sinus. She looked at my throat and listened to me breathe. She gave me a covid test and strep test and told me it could be a variety of illnesses. After a few minutes, the nurse came in and said you are negative and all good to go. The doctor never came in my room again to check my temperature or my ears which were causing me pain and no follow up with my plan of treatment was given. I was just pointed to the exit sign by the nurse. Felt like they just took my money and I received no assistance to my illness.

Took my young daughter yesterday. She hasnt gained weight, not so much as an ounce, in 6 months, has had dark circles under her eyes for several months, low energy for several months and has had fever on and off for 2 weeks. The nurse told me that her temperature was normal and the young lady that saw her (wasnt even given papers at the end of the appointment) looked her over and said shes fine...just has a virus. I came home and took her temperature myself and it was 101.3. She screamed and cried all evening. By midnight her fever was back up to 102.3 just like it has been for several nights.I am furious. They didnt do ANYTHING to help my poor little girl.

My experience with this office has been awful. You will never actually call the Dr office directly. You call into a call center. It can take days and multiple calls to get an answer. I had an issue with my childs vaccination record. It took three days for a response, and the response did not address the issue. The call center did not correctly relay my problem. This is so frustrating. I have brought up the concerns with the office and they acknowledge that communication is difficult. But they have not provided any solutions. There are administrative issues in this office as well. I am changing providers and I would not recommend this practice at.

We moved from a few states away and my son ran put of his medicine. I made an appt to get it filled. With just moving and such we were a few minutes late and resident Baker left. Just left. My son is now another day without his medication bc they refused to fill it with seeing him even though it is in his previous records and I have the empty bottle.

While the Dr. we saw was great, the practice in general is an absolute joke. The practice manager cannot see past the textbook and understand that every patient is different. After the treatment weve received here, I wouldnt wish my worst enemy to be under this offices care.

Dr. Zimmermann is the best doctor I have ever had. He responds by emails and is very prompt to help figure out and explain my health concerns.

Go here only if you want a bill to come to your house for $250 a year after service and then tell you your insurance doesn’t cover urgent care visits! Lol this place is a joke!

Dr Teleford-Wren is the best pediatric doctor ever, unfortunately dealing with Hershey has become very disappointing. To schedule with your doctor you cannot even talk to the office, if you have questions and call in it takes 4 different people to answer your question, and that’s if they can. They don’t care about privacy or HIPPA that they claim you have sign, like those glass bars you just installed help with anything. Been going here for the last 16 years and I do believe it’s time to switch.

Dr. Punitha William has been treating my companion here & she has been very concerned about his numerous health issues & has referred him to specialists as necessary & keeps informed about his progress with each. Her staff from Maryea to Carly are all very positive, upbeat & kind. We recommend this practice.

Pediatricians are fine, but trying to get an initial appointment as an adult with family medicine is a joke. They are able to quickly accommodate the addition of a newborn and establish care, but when I attempt to schedule a sick appointment for myself as an adult, they say itll be a month out. The only way to cure this is to schedule an appointment with them when I am not sick to get into their system and then when I am sick, they can get me in urgently. The schedulers simply cannot fathom why a FT working mother doesnt have the time to schedule needless appointments, and I end up just going to urgent care in Lancaster after work. So dumb.

Penn State is great in that it is a teaching hospital and teaching doctor offices, but when you go to this specific facility I dont feel you get the outcomes in which you desire. I am left wanting when leaving this office, and compared to other offices in which Ive visited this one is sub-par when listening to the patient and giving advice. Most recently I went in with a more severe sinus infection and was told to take Ibuprofen or Advil for the pain. No instructions of keeping from people, etc. Needless to say due to the negligence the entire office became sick due to it. In my opinion doctors should provide more insight into things before releasing patients. Also, its rude and downright disrespectful to have a resident come into the room without previous knowledge to the patient, which they spring on me unexpectedly causing my visit to be over 1.5 hours for a sinus infection.

The people I worked with were nice (nurses and doctors) and the facility was clean. However, BEWARE before you make your appointment that your insurance covers 100% of the visit. Because this facility rents the space they are in (or something along those lines) they charge the regular fees for the visit to your insurance company PLUS a facility fee which was over $100 per visit that my insurance company would not reimburse me for. So each time I wanted to go to the doctor the cost would be my copay plus the facility fee of over $100 that I had to pay out of pocket. They did not tell me this upfront when I originally established care at this facility so I had to find a new doctor.

I went here for a year when I moved back from Seattle. The doctor they assigned me NEVER listened to me and refused to keep me on the medication regimen it took my Seattle doctor three years to get right. After one year I decided to go elsewhere and after one month my medical records still have not been sent to the new doctor.

Been going here with the entire family since we moved to this area. Theyve always been very friendly and helpful. Being linked to the hospital has helped with all major care incidents over the years.

I been going to them for over several years, and I decided that the younger LPNS are RUDE and inexperience while trying to act like they are experience at their job. One doctor named Anderson seems to beinexperience with medical diagnosis and treatment plans that work. And what happened to the negatives comments on here? They seem to disappear, WHY!!. My insurance company told me that they are having too many complaints about this place. They seem to specialize in children and college students only. Every body else is just second.
