A few years ago I was having terrible pains around the stomach or gallbladder. I was in the ER and Dr Crain was the surgeon on call. I had been through several procedures trying to find out the problem. When I met Dr Crain he got me into surgery and he explained everything to me completely on what he thought it was. When he got to my gallbladder he saw it was attached to my stomach. Dr Crain stopped operating when he realized he did not feel comfortable cutting on me any more. Dr Crain stopped his surgery and got me into Louisville to see a Dr Jorge Rodriguez. Dr Rodriguez found the problem and I was in the hospital for 9 days on 7 different drugs to get to the problem. I feel like Dr Crain actually saved my life by stopping when he felt uncomfortable about going any further and he got me to the right doctor in Louisville.Also Dr Crain saved the life of a dear friend of mine who was bleeding internally. I knew he would have to have surgery and I specifically asked for Dr Crain. He came right into the room to see us and he said as soon as he was needed by us he would be right there and he was. He even pushed back another surgery to operate on my friend because he was bleeding profusely inside. Thank God for Dr Crain he was a God sent to my friend and I. I would recommend him highly to anyone. He has an outstanding bedside manner and a very caring doctor.

Dr. Crain has been great in discovering my stomach pain cause and treating it. I highly recommend him. I have found his bedside manner to be fine and professional, as it should be.

I had two surgeries with Dr. Crain in the past month, and was thrilled with him. He has a great bedside manner, hes a very talented and knowledgeable surgeon, and his nurse is also excellent.I would recommend him to all my friends and family, and would not hesitate to use him again.

Doctor Crain does get straight to the point, he will identify your problem, and fix you right up. He is competent, professional, and efficient.

He has the bedside manner of a rock...dont go in crying from pain because he will tell you that he doesnt work with pediatrics and that you can leave if you dont contain your emotions..he never asked me what was wrong...i will never ever use him again or suggest him to anyone....in his case the bad outweighs the good..

In and out of his office, Hes nice I liked him. He tells it like it is no sugar coating my kind of Doctor.
