They were already slow getting prescriptions filled and barely had any employees before this conglomerate chain bought out the locally owned drug store. Now attempting to go in this place is insane. They take days to fill a prescription and then you have to wait hours to be able to get it once its ready. You can bearley get in the driveway due to the all the cars wrapped around the building waiting in the one person operated drive thru. Once in the store most the isles are crowded with people waiting to pick up prescriptions.

I always find something I hadnt planned on buying here. Love the pharmacy staff. Hands down, best staff in town. Theyre commitment to their customers is so refreshing in a time where most businesses provide the bare minimum they can get away with. I hope they stay this awesome.

Im very disappointed in CVS. Required to go here for insurance. Constantly do not have certain prescription medicine and the location in Elizabeth City has some of the rudest staff and associates. Customer service has really failed at this location. There are a few exceptions at other locations but Im highly disappointed in service level. I hope to be able to gain access to other pharmacies in the future.

My husband needed to fill a prescription so he went in and dropped it off. He let them know he was waiting and they told him 30 mins...he waited 30 mins more...annnd he waited again 30 mins. He is still waiting and close at 7! No text no calls..nothing!!!😤

Whoever the Manager at this location needs to be replaced. The drive thru lanes have got to be the longest wait time ever. Go inside and it is even longer. The line is held up even longer because of covid testing being done at the drive thru. CVS needs to do better at meeting the demand of the location. There needs to be two people working the drive thru.

Patrice at the pharmacy is extremely rude. Does not know how to explain without yelling. Waited 20 minutes for them to count down a prescription so I could check out. When in the end all employees were in a meeting ignoring the customer. Horrible experience.

I have gone to this pharmacy for several years! The pharmacy staff is ALWAYS helpful! They are friendly, knowledgeable, but most of all—compassionate! They are efficient, having my prescriptions filled quickly and when promised.The associates in the front of the store are friendly and always helpful. I see the manager working with on the floor, helping customers, running the cash registers etc.The store and bathrooms are always clean!

This is the most horrible place. My daughter went there for a covid 19 test. She is healthy with no symptoms. She booked on line as requested and waited 40 min with the staff and manager watching her outside. She explained ehen she got there she walked and did not have car. She asked three different staff members and they directed her to state outside in a line for drive thru. 20 min away before her time they told her to move out of the driveway as it a liability and she could not take a test due to safety. So she explained what happened and as a manager she can not explain why staff was not fully aware of policy. No apologies no empathy for this 18 yr young black woman. Waiting.

The volume of this location has picked up. Every employee ask if you need assistance and are very attentive. Shopping is extremely satisfying and the deals are nice with the Rewards.

Recently switched to CVS, much better service at the pharmacy and store in general. Everyone is friendly, outgoing, and helpful. The manager is engaged with the customers and helpful with any questions or comments.

The manager, Jason, is extremely accommodating and friendly. Hes the kind of person who can improve your day with just a few words. The prices here a little high, but its refreshing having such good customer service.

This place is awful. They will tell you they will have your medicine ready for the next morning, but when you go to pick it up, they need 25 mins to fill it. It’s always an issue to get my medications. I do not recommend this place to anyone.I’ve been asking for a week for my medication to be ordered because they do not keep it in stock. They ordered the wrong mcg, so now I have to wait even longer.

I just want to go back to my old mom and pop pharmacy that had all my monthly prescriptions on hand for my children and me and I dont have to play the automated response game when I call. They know my number and my voice and I dont have to tell them every little bit of information.That is not CVS. But they do try. Ill give them that.

I believe I am done trying to be understanding and patient with this store! My doctors office called in meds for me and instead of heading straight there I decided to try and eat something and give them plenty of time to fill my meds as I didn’t want to go back out due to being extremely sick. Went through the drive thru and gave my lady my name and birthday and rudely she states there was no medication there for me and I needed to call my doctor. Flustered I left and called my doctors office. The nurse stated not only did the call my meds in the pharmacy had called the doctors office to verify medication 15-20 mins prior. The nurse called the pharmacy to make sure meds were ready. The person she spoke to said yes all meds were ready but maybe I went to Walgreens instead!!! Are you fricking kidding me??? So I turn around and head back. I wanted to go in and give someone a piece of my mind which I rarely do but decided it wasn’t fair to others as I was contagious so I went through the drive thru. This time different person was at the window. This person said to give them a few more minutes to finish up one of the meds....ummm so which is it??? One stated they were ready one says not quite!!! One said none at all!!! I hate so badly to give bad reviews but enough is enough! Maybe the people working there don’t have enough help but that is not the customers problem! People come to a pharmacy to get meds typically for being sick! Show compassion and get it together! I’m transferring to local small business where they treat people with respect and courtesy!

It is a shame that we dropped off prescriptions on friday and was told pickup has to be Christmas eve which is monday so plenty time for them to fill them...ok totally understand insurance, asked hours and get there at 9am and of course they did not even fill the medicine...had to wait 15 minutes, yes not a long time but now late. This is twice now, i have dropped off prescriptions a couple days early and nothing happens until i go to pick them up...leason learned... what is the point in giving them time and not having them rush?????

I love CVS and people dont understand what the employees have to go through back in the pharmacy or in the front store. They work very hard trying to PLEASE THE CUSTOMER but no one dont wants to cooperate with us. Instead the customers want to complain and dont appreciate the things that theemployees do.

It would be nice to be able to get a prescription filled after 9pm. Instead I have to wait until the next morning to get much needed antibiotics. If Walgreens accepted Tricare I would go there but they dont. What happens when kids are sick in the middle of the night and go to the ER?Dumb.

.2 lanes and only one vacuum tube, so really only one lane works. Waits up to 40 minutes since impossible to get a call through...tried 2 times to use the lane w/o a vacuum tube (which they encourage) by putting all IDs and a note in an envelope - DL, insurance, and credit card. One time they lost the credit card (my only one) and finally found it. The last time, they lost the insurance card the week I was having surgery - and finally found it. Am devastated that Todds closed and I am stuck with CVS; Tarheel cant keep employees and has issues. Am anxiously waiting for the new private pharmacy to open this winter downtown. I feel sorry for the nice ladies at the drive through - not their fault that CVS considers Eliz City a 3rd world country. GET ANOTHER VACUUM TUBE FOR THE OUTER LANE.
