Horrible experience. I was suppose to do the glucose test at 28 weeks. I am 37 weeks pregnant and they want me to do it now! My baby is breeched and they do not want to give me a referral to get another ultrasound every though I can be due any day. I have been going here for about 10years and I have never experienced such incompetency in a practice.

I had a Covid test. They were organized and efficient. Results came back with in 3 to 4 days. Recently went for my Covid Vaccine. Again they were organized and efficient. For great Patient care go to Greater Elgin FamilyCare.

Never before had a WORSE experience with the front office staff!!! Received one reminder phone call in regards to my daughters physical and immunization appointment where I was told to arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork and after driving the 45 minutes to get there was told I shouldve been there 30 minutes early and therefore missed the appointment. Then the rude receptionist was literally arguing with me because she didnt get to checking us in until 5 minutes prior since she was preoccupied with attempting to find a reason not to take the appointment. Short handed, overwhelmed or not do NOT use this medical practice unless you are most likely looking to have a malpractice lawsuit. The front office staff is usually a parallel representation of the quality of the doctors in the practice...DONT chance it!!!

Zero stars VERY bad follow up- I had my child tested for covid on Tuesday because he was exposed at his summer camp. On Monday 6 days later they have the results. I tried 3 times to get the results. They could not guarantee I would get a call back the same day. The 3rd call I finally got someone to give me his results. I understand they might be busy but a 2 second phone call when I am losing pay keeping him quarantined ?????

Been going here for a long time and myself and my children love it.But the new receptionists have and give attitude all the time. Even the girl outside telling people where to park due to the covid testing.

Had a wonderful experience here today! Took my son here and the staff was very nice and professional. The rooms were clean and organized. I think the only thing that I could think of was the wait. Had a 9:30 appointment got there at 9. Was seen by 10. Not that bad. Any doctors office youll have a wait. My son got to socialize a little longer thats all. Had other professionals from other departments of the building visit to inform us of their services. I didnt even know the building was that big. Overall a wonderful facility. The commute is a lot shorter, lots of parking available, the staff and medical professionals are so nice! Im going to be taking my family here from now on.

I thought this was a family care center. Its not! I cant make a well child visit for my 3 kids in the same day even though they all have different doctors. Whats the point of getting my kids seen at one straight shot. They said I cant get my kids seen cause the doctor can only see 2 kids in the same day per family. Guess what they see 3 doctors. After repeating myself i still cant schedule the same day! This is a joke. With a busy schedule I dont have time to make appointments on different days.

Have been receiving nothing but quality services by each member of the Greater Elgin Family Care dental team since I began visiting for oral hygiene Maintanance a year ago.This facilitys hygienists, receptionists, and Dentists are not only genuine in quality of care practices, they are well experienced, informative, and excel beyond their service tasks to provide additional comfort & crucial information regarding any dental related Inquiry one may have.The color schemes within facilitys oral examination rooms provides a reassuringly calm effect on the mind, procedures are always performed at a pace relative to patients tolerance and comfort, with finesse and expertise.I love that The facility environment is always well maintained and records are taken, and provided to patients for filing.With every visit I am treated with genuine care andKindness by staff members who all do beyond their best to provide quality of life through oral care to the children, geriatrics, students, and workers of this community.I enjoy my smile and look forward to every check up because of the staff members within Greater Elgin Family Care Center.

Not sure why this place received such low reviews; I went initially Bc it was the only place that could fit us in w our insurance and the low reviews made me weary, but ended up loving it there so much we switched PEDs entirely! I would recommend, not sure why others dont..

Last time my kid went there she was getting her 6th grade shot she still has 2 more to go but last time she was so scared of the shot but the nurse mad her more confortable!

My son had a dentist appointment and had to get a tooth extraction, something that a 4 yr old won’t be happy about, had my partner in to help me and stay with him in the room while I was in the waiting area patiently waiting. Gave them a 15 min break to calm down after giving him anesthesia shot or something to numb him up and my partner called me to come in the room for a quick minute to calm him down. Suddenly Dr. Via another dentist came in rudely in the room complained about my son being a disturbance to “her” clinic and trying to reinstate of their policy assuming that I was mad about not being there which I was well aware and knew I wasn’t going to be able to be in the room due to the fact that I am 37 weeks pregnant and can’t be there to hold my son down. Not once did I complain about me not being present in the room, I literally just stopped in to calm my son down and she stated that she had to leave her appointment in service to come and tell me that we were a disturbance. First of all I don’t understand why they have a dentist office and an OB office or just everything so close together where everything can be heard. That is not my issue, my concern is my child and his dental necessities I’m positive my son is not the first kid to freak out and scream about pain I’ve been there before for ob appointments and heard kids yelling when I’m walking out . I don’t care about her appointment and disturbing her clients because kids are kids and some take it better some don’t if there is an issue with being able to hear what’s going on in other patient rooms then they should have sound proof walls so she can have a quiet place for “her” appointments she was so unprofessional and mean about it like I had no clue what was going on. I feel sorry for who ever has her as a dentist provider she’s so hard and disrespectful and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend that place to anyone who’s child is not comfortable with dentists or in general. Not going there again!!!! Horrible experience.

Half way through my pregnancy my original gyno stopped taking my insurance, so I was forced into coming here. A few times the doctor didnt know who I was (called me by a different patients name). Had to tell him details he should have already known, etc. He took about a min to measure my stomach and then moved on to someone else. No discussions, nothing. Luckily for me this was my 3rd child, so I already knew the procedures. However, this is no excuse for the way they treat their patients. Id NEVER come here again. Ever.

I take both my kids here. My son has been sick foe months, may ear infections, all I have wanted is to get him to a specialist. After many appointments he finally has a referral to a specialist, but he has been so sick and they keep saying he is fine, now he has an eye problem will see how long it takes to get this taken care of, found a different doctor for him will be taking him next month.

Sometimes its ok, but sometimes you get a headache cause they keep changing your appointment even at the las week of the pregnancy, very unreliable doctors, like dr chui and dr gladis. But dr mccormick shes very nice and reliable

When I was pregnant with my youngest daughter they told me nothing was wrong and that if I was so sick all of the time to get an abortion!!!! Come to find out I had pre-eclampsia and placenta Pervia. I almost lost my daughter! Dr. Gladden was always extremely rude, wait times are absolutely ridiculous, nurses were rude. They also called my son retarded because he is autistic!

I had a terrible experience with their services. pregnancy doctors RUSH you in the room. They dont ask how you feel!!!! I gave them 3 whole chances to be courteous, patient, and thorough. I heard from the nurses because we have so much patients in a day, but thats not my problem!! I should be treated like a patient and not a number!!I went in the doc this weekend and I was in the room for 4 min waiting on doctor, he came in1. didnt say hello2. told me to lay down3.pulled up my shirt to do the Doppler4.said to me I havent been there in two months-they are rude5.tol dme I was high risk6.they didnt check my fam history of anxiety attacks and anemia, hig blood pressure and drew blood from me for 3 hours.7. Told me to go back in the lab to get more blood taken8. Was very vague on my test results9. he was only in my room for 1 minute and practically said WAIT, I have some concerns and questions and he looked at me like (they all do) hurry the f*** up. he was hangin out the door allowing other patients to listen to me10. I stormed out in tears and scared because he didnt give me my results11. I DON NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!! IF YOU WANT TO LIVE AND HAVE SERIOUS HEALTH PROBLEMS OR YOU WANT TO BE TALKED TO ONE ON ONE BASES, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!I am 8 months preg and Im scared for my life. Im changing doctors offices. This doesnt deserve a star

Bathroom right by the elevator is always dirty & filthy always smells. Then the waiting room smells to!! Dont get me started on how long you have to wait especially when you have little ones & there nothing for the kids to play with & I probably wouldnt let them because they probably never sanitized it or anything there!! And doctors are rude & disrespectful at all locations in Elgin & nurses could care less!!

I have always felt good with the care received from the doctors who have treated me at the time. The lab girls are very nice.I only dare to comment on something that does not seem very logical to me: When scheduling an appointment, they let you know that you have to arrive 15 minutes early. Due to school traffic circumstances, I was 2 minutes late and they no longer wanted to attend me. I think the decision is exaggerated; since on other occasions I have arrived up to 20 minutes before and they have seen me up to half an hour later. And there NOTHING HAPPENS🤷‍♀️
