Sitting in the ER with son who was sent home from school with a pretty moderate concussion. Went to Urgent Care who immediately sent us to ER because of his state of confusion/disorientation. Been here in the waiting room for 6 hours. We were told possible 3 hour wait time and 12 people ahead of us which I said I understood. But here it is almost 1AM and well over 20+ people have been seen since then. My sons close friend came in an hour and half AFTER us at 8:20 and left over 2 hours ago with a small cut that didnt even need stitches. (So clearly severity of illness/issue isnt the determining factor for being seen). The waiting room crowd has changed 3 times completely since we have been here. The only difference is we are the ONLY ones who look like us.. πŸ™πŸΏβ€β™€οΈπŸ™πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈI asked the front desk if they forgot about us and questioned why we are still here in the waiting room while others are clearly coming, being seen and going. The answer was I dont know how they assign the order while rolling her eyes and walking away to sit back down. We are the ONLY ones here from the 6pm crowd!!! It is now half past midnight!!Make it make sense!!!! Enough with racial disparity in healthcare!!! Enough!!

My Wife had to go to the ER a couple of weeks ago and received substandard care. She laid in her own urine for the better part of the day. Took 1 hour to get anyone to address her bathroomnecessities. She continuously asked for medicine for her migraine with no relief. She was assigned a room and the care did not get much better. The doctors gave a lot of lip service snd little action. Her migraines continued . The head Doctor stated she had to sit up in bed, go to the bathroom on her own , be able to walk on her own and the Physical therapy had to work with her in order for her to be released and none of that happened. We we’re lead to believe gist this was a decent hospital and it was far fromIt.

My aunt was there last week for kidney stones not once did they check her for Covid. She started having a seizure after being operated on and she could clearly hear and see both a male and female nurse making fun of her over this and saying that it looked like a circus. During her stay they didnt give her a shower or even a bed bath or change the sheets the whole time she was there. I will be calling the health health department over this. This is ridiculous and is something that Ive heard happening in third world countries. Stay away from this hospital.

My daughter was advised to take my 2 year old granddaughter into the emergency room because she was throwing up and was running a fever since he was unable to see her in his office. 5 hours later, with no one waiting in the waiting area or inside might I add, the β€œsupervisor” was not able to help my daughter and granddaughter. She had been waiting for COVID test results and X-ray results. Again, my granddaughter is 2 YEARS OLD!!!!! What kind of emergency room is this?!In reading prior reviews others have experienced similar issues and apparently nothing gets fixed. Yet management responds by saying β€œthank you for letting us know and we apologize for your negative experience. We’ll pass the information to the team”. Really?!! What team is that because obviously it’s not the actual emergency room staff that is taking your reviews and patients concerns and frustrations serious. This is unfortunate and something that should not be happening at all. It’s just obvious that you have employees who are unhappy and unwilling to help people. Your license must not mean much. Maybe going to the board of nurses and medical doctors will something be done about people having bad experiences instead of being treated professionally and ethically.

Worst hospital I have ever been In I would’ve been better off going to a veterinarian hospital. I was in the emergency room for eight hours before they could even get me into a bed I had heart problems. They didn’t even empty my urine bottle I had to dump it into the sink in the emergency room. I hadn’t had breakfast and I got there at 10 o’clock and I didn’t have anything to eat until 3 o’clock. The emergency room bed was nothing more than a inch and a half mattress it was very uncomfortable for someone that was had just had a heart problem I had asked for a glass of water three times before getting itAnd asked for something to eat another three times before getting something I don’t recommend Mendes hospital it’s poorly managed I ended up walking out after being there eight hours in the emergency room

My evaluation comes from two separate campuses and admissions from 2009,2018,2019. and 2021 for both my late sister, mother and me. Medical staff excellent but the other side billing, admissions etc. is atrocious. Constant run arounds, requesting documents, endless calls and you cannot blame this on Covid19 as it seems a common experience to many and on going. There is simply a complete unprofessional attitude towards this that seems from pages of comments to be the norm and not the exception. If you call them down on it they simply tell you its your fault. I have not even burred my sister and am in a run around with billing.

Stay away from this hospital! The nurses do not care about you. I was in there because I had a ruptured colon and had abscess in my lower stomach. One particular night I started feeling really bad. I had a fever of 102 and all the nurse did was lower the temperature in my room and said she would be back in 20 minutes. I started to get the chills and began to sweat and had a rapid heartbeat. It took the nurse 2 hours to check on me again.Another nurse didn’t even know what my diagnosis was when I asked him.Another nurse asked me if they did a procedure on me, I asked her, β€œWhat’s a procedure?” She replied, β€œ I don’t know”But one thing is for sure. They will keep calling you if you haven’t paid your medical bill. They will NEVER call to see if you’re still alive.

Went to the ER by ambulance Wednesday , nurses and doctor treated me as if I was making up a whole back injury at my work to get medication, also refusing to give me anything for pain other than the lowest dose of a muscle relaxer for a lower back strain! I’ve been a patient for over 30 years and they put everything ever prescribed to a patient on your history sheet. Doctors and nurses let me leave the hospital in critical pain to wait for an Uber because there wasn’t anything they could do. In pain for 3 days went to the main Providence, they did MRI, gave me medicine to help with my pain and told me I did in fact have some nerve damage in my lower back. That was so awful of Transmountain to let a patient leave that can’t walk. Because to them, you are making it all up, the high blood pressure, the screaming and crying in pain. All made up. Awful experience.

David, who works the front in the ER, did not want to deal with my insurance because it’s too much of a hassle. This was my mothers 3rd visit in a month. On her 1st stay she was sent home with pneumonia and returned the next day. She was admitted a 2nd time for 1 week and then sent home again. 5 days later she was back in this hospital. She was admitted through the E.R. and transferred to the 3rd floor and 4 hours later transferred to ICU. The ICU nurse was the only nurse to provide extensive details on her condition and treatment. When she was transferred out of the ICU to the 5th floor it went downhill fast. The nurses Thurs- Sat provided barely any information on her or her condition. They were also giving her an antipsychotic medication (shes not psychotic) which has sedated her so much she cant even stay awake during physical therapy. Lastly, they transferred her to a Rehab Hospital on Saturday but never notified my brother or I when she actually left Providence. The intake staff at the new facility noted the poor hygiene she had been subjected too and the insanely sedated state she is in.Its sad this is the only hospital close to Canutillo and Anthony and because nursing staff dont want to deal with a patient they sedate them knowing visitations are limited. Disgusting!

First, I had gone to my local ER for severe ab pain. They said it could be either my gallbladder or appendix. There was no GI Dr so I had to get transferred here. I am a type 1 Diabetic and they let me go 3 full days before I had any type of surgery. On top of that, they only did insulin 2x and kept my blood sugar at around 300. Almost into ketoacidosis by the time I got home. Barely 8 hours after surgery, the Dr comes in to say they are discharging me within the hour. I had just spoke to the nurse who said i would not be getting discharged until some of my pain was gone and after i was able to walk. I hadnt even walked yet. From the very start, i said i was allergic to Tramadol and had a red bracelet for it. The Dr said that i was going home with Tramadol and to follow up with my Dr for any more medications. I said well i am allergic to tramadol as i have it here on my bracelet. I kid you not, not even exaggerating, though i wish i was, he looked at me and said then i guess you get nothing. I asked him to leave my room as i was going to contact the nurse to see what was going on. He said i will be done in five minutes. I said i didnt care and he needed to leave my room and finish whatever he was doing elsewhere. He just stood there. It was not until i got up and had to scream please leave that he finally left with his entourage of 4 other Drs. If anyone is a lawyer, I really need help with this case because they keep telling me loopholes to get around his behaviour. I would not go here if it was the last hospital on earth and would take my chances with death. -1000000000000000 stars if there was such an option. The Dr name was Dr Thangarasa and if anyone has him, I suggest you run to a different hospital. I would rather take my chances dying than have that guy look after me.

Room is too small and I was uncomfortable being in the room with the other patient, pretty sure he was too, and 2 lab techs. One tech proceeded to draw patients labs, using gloves, placed tourniquet, searched for vein, unsuccessful. Then with same gloves on, searched thru lab supplies for butterfly, moved other supplies around, including needles, tubes, etc. Then opened all of the drawers and cabinets looking for the butterfly, ultimately using the phone to call someone to bring a butterfly, still with the same gloves on, contaminating everything she touched, while the other lab tech watched. Not sure if this was proper procedure, but when I last worked at Providence over 30 yrs ago, procedure should have been for lab technician to remove gloves before touching other supplies, then reglove for the other patients draw. I probably should have said something, but I did not want to alarm the other patient. QA process should be reevaluated and only one patient in the room at a time. To add, it wasnt busy when I went, so only one patient in the room at a time should have been reasonable.

I’ve been in and out of the hospital my whole life and have stayed at many different hospitals on the West Coast I’m giving this hospital two stars and here’s why.1. The facility itself is very nice, clean, and soothing. I came into the ER and the rooms had a comfortable sense.2. The doctors were very quick to attend my needs and polite, along with the nursing staff.3. The negative thing is, I have medication that I need to take every day for my double lung transplant that I had in 2010. They’re very important and it’s extremely important I don’t miss a dose of medication. The doctors didn’t get those medications and I’ve missed two doses. I expressed a couple times that they’re important and I need to take them but I waited and waited and missed my dose. Very frustrating and unsafe.4. The final thing is that they don’t allow you to order anything from the cafeteria. They don’t have a patient menu they just bring you up whatever they decide. The nurse gave me a number to the kitchen and said I could order something different but when I called the woman who I talked to was extremely rude and had a major attitude.Conclusion... if you’re coming here for basic health needs it’s overall a decent facility. If you have a more complicated health history I wouldn’t come here. I won’t be coming back here again. The doctors need to understand the importance of transplants medications and not neglect them. Cafeteria and food situation needs major improvement.

I cannot recommend the transmountain campus emergency room. The facility is nice, the staff were nice. The nurse and PA were good. So why cant I recommend this ER? Billing. The hospital is in network, the labs was in network, the radiologist was in network.... But the ER PA was not! How can an organization allow a contracted group of doctors and PAs not to be in the same networks as they are?! They also had the audacity to balance bill me for nearly $2000! What am I supposed to do? Ask the ER doc before they touch me during an emergency if they are in network??? This is absolutely absurd. Now I have to spend hours trying to resolve this with my insurance company and the burden should really fall on the provider to fix. It is absolutely silly. And to think this occurred a month before the new balance billing law went into effect. Get your stuff together Hospitals of Providence and ensure your ER docs accept the same networks as you! Otherwise dont sign a contract with them! This looks poorly on you.

I really really wanted to like this place. They referred us here for my mom when she was not feeling good, and they stated that this hospital would take good care of us. As you may know, when Grandma gets sick, its a whole family affair. Everything went smoothly until we met our nurse in the emergency room named Sal. He introduced himself and appeared more than helpful at first. It was not until I caught him staring at one of my daughters body. I am so livid right now. The nerve of this full grown man to look at my daughter who is barely 16. And to look at her right in front of us, of me...her mother! I am beyond appalled that you would hire somebody with such poor work ethic and poor manners. The worse thing is she noticed too and later on told me how uncomfortable she felt. We were so relieved when we got discharged- to get away from this bald, overweight, indecent nurse. Transmountain hospital, I can only HOPE that you have the integrity to NOT delete this review. If we ever need medical care again, we are definitely driving the extra distance to another hospital. Hopefully they have actual professional staff elsewhere without the wandering eyeballs. Disgusting!!

Had an amazing doctor. Nurses answered the call bell fast. They had been busy but did the best they could. People forget they are human! Someone might be dying and need them more then you do so keep that in mind! They don’t mean to take a long time! I spent I think 3 hours waiting for 1 test to come back but I didn’t mind! They care and are very sweet! A creepy lady was watching me and opened the curtain and watched me. Besides the creepy patient it was good!! Would recommend them over urgent care! The receptionists even care! They make sure you get into a room ASAP! Thank you all the staff of thop!

My mother stayed here for 2 days this month and she loved it. Everyone was attentive and she loved the food and the view from her room. I do wish there was another chair in the room, because when my mother was sitting on the chair, I had to sit on the sofa/visitor bed and it is odd to sit on because of how wide it is. I certainly understand why it was designed the way it was, it was just a little awkward to sit on. Im sure I could have asked for another chair, but I was much more concerned about my mothers comfort than mine😏

I was in so much pain I started.to hyperventilate and could not caught my breath I called.out for help but no one came. took them over an hour to administer a.pain reliever. I will never go back to this place. when the nurse finally did check on me the patient next to me was crying out in pain and she just rolled her eyes.

My husband had emergency surgery in May to remove his gallbladder. We couldnt have asked for better treatment. Everyone from the emergency room to the staff upstairs were so nice and took wonderful care of us. The only thing that put a damper on this experience was the outrageous medical bills we received afterwards for what is a routine procedure. (Almost $100,000 for a 48 hour stay?) Dont know what to do

Had to visit the emergency department and it is a madhouse. Nurses take forever since they are to busy gathering talking to each other or on their cell phone. The only efficient nurse was the one who saw us right away and brought us to a room unfortunately the rest has been horrible. My father needed to go to the restroom and nurse kept telling us she will be right with us. After 15 minutes a young girl comes to the room to ask for my fathers insurance, I explained to her that we have been waiting for someone to help my father to the restroom. She tells us she will be right back from the room I can see her tell a nurse and the nurse rolls her eyes. I cannot believe the type of nurses you hire. The young lady returns and informs us that the nurse is on her way. I asked her why the nurse rolled her eyes and she attempted to make excuses but I know what I saw. Finally an assistant comes and assist my father to the restroom, he was the only helpful person. Disappointed in the treatment. If I could rate them less then a star I would.

I wanted to take the time to thank all the staff at this hospital. I recently had to watch my wife as she deteriorated rapidly before my eyes. I was afraid that when the paramedics picked her up, I would never get a chance to see her alive again. The staff at Transmountain Campus acted quickly and rapidly to stabilize her. Special thanks to the radiology staff, who allowed me to walk with them to the study in order to ease my anxiety. I am also grateful for the charge nurse in the ER named Robert for being swift with the procedures, getting the IV right away when the paramedics could not, and for still taking the time to explain to me what was happening and what the plan for my wife was going to be. Please also convey my thanks a nurse in ICU by the name of Monica who was heaven sent in our time of need. She took the time to explain my wifes progress, the plan of care, and rounded frequently to see if we needed anything. Although my wife is still somewhat weak, she also wishes to express her gratitude to everyone from the minute she arrived to the day she was discharged. I highly recommend this hospital.

I dont appreciate being told not to come back if I dont have health insurance. I understand this hospital being private but if its an emergency, I have no choice but to come to the closest hospital near my home. How rude do you have to be to tell someone in the ER that is having an allergic reaction where their lungs are closing up NOT TO COME BACK? I had the nurses consult me telling me that the registration woman shouldnt have even told me that. Will be seeking action to be done after today.

Very little wait time on 2 visits. Although it had only been open a couple of weeks All staff was very friendly and importantly seemed to work well together. Almost immediate provisional diagnosis by the MD which was confirmed with tests provided. My only suggestion is when staff is having to attend to more immediate intervention with a patient, they could pop in every 10 or 15 minutes to let it be known they hadnt forgotten you were there.

I went in on June 7th having a miscarriage, I was already having a traumatic experience and my experience there just amplified it. I woke up at 2am bleeding heavily, more than I should have been. Went to the hospital expecting help, but instead stuck in a room with a blood pressure cuff cutting off my circulation every ten minutes and left for hours covered in dried up blood alone. The sonogram guy wouldnt even turn the screen just a little after I asked to see if my baby had passed or not so I have no idea if my baby got flushed or sucked up in the suction device I kept getting stabbed on my privates with when I first arrived. He also pushed so hard on my pelvic bone that it felt like he was trying to break my bones. I dont understand that either because my ob never had to be rough to get good pictures. Not a single doctor or nurse told me they were sorry for my loss. I feel like the bedside manner was awful, then to top it off I get this insane bill in the mail. It was like getting slapped in the face after losing the baby I wanted so badly. I will NEVER step foot in that hospital ever again, Id take my chances dying first.

My sister was here, workers are so unethical, with no manners. She got there with bumps all over her body, a swollen stomach and they refused to make further studies like an ultrasound, or blood work to see what was really going on. She was dismissed with an allergic reaction and gave her a prescription for Benadryl. Which we found out later on it had nothing to do with allergies. They make it seem like you are nothing if you dont have insurance even doctors were so rude. Why do you become a doctor if by the end of the day you just want your money? What happened to being a doctor to help others? Just trying to reach out to others about how this place is being ran.

This location needs to seriously improve on communication, acting like they care about the patients and timeliness I’m getting things done. Our family has had a frustrating, at best, experience here. My father in law got cleared to eat today after not eating for 5 days and we’re still here waiting for food after several hours. We’ve never seen the doctor or heard from her. The RN’s are impersonal and don’t know what’s going on. I can’t imagine someone being here without family members to look out for them. There’s no telling what all could go wrong.

After awhile the nurse took me to an emergency room the nurse said they were going to go get pain medication but never came back. It took till my boyfriend got there to get them to finally give me pain medication. After that the lady came to the room to get my insurance information and I informed her that I didnt have insurance. It really felt worse after that they took me for a some test nurse forgot to put me back on my iv they didnt notice till I was about to be discharged. I was still in pain but they were busy and just needed rooms. Horrible experience there next emergency I have I will have family drive me to another hospital that wont just focus just on insurance.

The service at the ER IS HORRIBLE!!! Drs and nurses dont care. They sit in the front and talk chit chat and dont check up on you until you go and ask! We were there 8 hours and out of those 8 hours, they came twice to check on my brother. My brother was having a hard time breathing and all they did was give him an IV and a breathing treatment that was for 1 hour. He had it on for over an hour and the resp. Nurse never came back. I took off the mask and it stayed on for 3 hours! Theres absolutely no need for this. We go to the ER not knowing whats next and trusting that they know what theyre doing, and then you get this type of treatment?? Come on! Its unfortunate that they study to become nurses/doctors....and somewhere along the line, they forget their people skills! I hate this hospital! Its a very nice building but the service is REALLY bad!!!

If I could post negative I would for what a HORRIBLY INCOMPETENT hospital this is. Do NOT come here. My mother was admitted through the ER for sepsis (the surgery was also performed at this hospital). The culture results we were waiting for to find out what caused the infection were never even sent in. They released her and they had her on every antibiotic they could think of to cover all their bases which ended up making her have uncontrollable vomiting and was unable to eat for days. We called and left voicemails to those in charge ten times and never received a call back. We are now having to come in person to request her medical records to take to people that can actually help us. Worst experience imaginable.

One person here stated, Dont bring your loved one here unless you want to say goodbye. I thought it was a bit dramatic until I went there - sadly, its quite accurate. When a patient knows their own history, its vital the doctors listen to them and not develop their own fantasy world of the patients best care.Sadly, the lead pulmonologist reeks of a god complex. He refused to acknowledge that he gave the wrong treatment plan. He refused to accept his errors even with irrefutable evidence.I would rather lie on the side of the road and die than relive this horrific event. In the words of another poster: DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONE HERE UNLESS YOU ARE EXPECTING TO SAY GOOD-BYE.

I would not reccomend this hospital. I had surgery here and from the second I opened my eyes in the recovery they were asking me to get dressed to leave. My husband and mom had to help dress me as I was still sooo drugged from the anesthesia. They came and dropped off the wheel chair and said to call when I was ready. I was very nauseous and asked for ice chips since i had not eaten or drank anything since the evening before. They did not make sure I could walk, urinate, drink... etc. They threw me out of the hospital within less than 2 hours of having my surgery. I am so disappointed in my care! Would never go here again. It has been almost a week since my surgery and there has been no follow up or call to check on my status. They do not care about their patients like they should. Awful!
