I give 1 star Becouse the apoitments lady are kind and professional.I GIVE 0 TO THE DOCTORS THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR PAIN OR SUFERIING SPECIALY DR: TIM, HE DENIED A PRESCRIPCION CORTISONE TO MY COUSIN AND LET HIM HICHING THE ALL WEEKEND.HE IS RUDE AND CARELESS.THE DOCTORS DONT CALL IF YOU HAVE APPOITMENT BY PHONE.BETTER GO TO SOME OTHER CLINIC . I’ve been at this hospital since i was young, and i guess it’s alright, but today is honestly the last straw for me. i got my second dose of Pfizer about two weeks ago, and the day after, i got tons of itch bites everywhere on my body. i think it could have been an allergic reaction. when my mom called to schedule an appointment, no one answered, she called multiple times. she also called the next day and still no one answered. when we came to the hospital yesterday to schedule an appointment in-person, they told us to go come to the hospital tomorrow (aka today) and i can get checked up to see what’s wrong with me. currently, we were made to wait in line for over 45 minutes. then was told by the nurse in the front that i have to wait on the side for another 30+ minutes to schedule an appointment with a pediatrician. do something about your staff, and get things under control, this is ridiculous, i could be literally dying and this hospital wouldn’t care, not a good look.

The hospital is old and broken. I came to see the gynecology department today. There was only one patient waiting outside, but the doctor quickly hurried to help me after the examination and left. The translation Chinese translation was not detailed. Come here twice and feel that both doctors are not good!

Recently, a family member was a patient at Ramona Care Center. I served as an advocate and got to know several of the staff. They were professional, courteous, willing to go the extra mile and easy to communicate with for me.> I would like to specifically note your Business Manager who was very helpful in assisting me with a better understanding of the MediCal system. The charge nurse was super. She responded quickly to questions I had, was helpful with suggestions and quick with follow up. The Unit Administrator, was also very helpful and tried hard to understand our situation and how to best work with us. The Social Worker and Case Manager made themselves available for a conference call that lasted for nearly and hour. Again, they listened to our needs and provided useful information. The front desk and switchboard handled all of my many calls with professionalism and expediency.>> Congratulations on having a well organized staff that strives to be professional and personal at the same time.

My mom has an appointment this morning here. Even though the doctor who attend her helps her was so nice, the people who works in the reception in the first floor is absolutely depreciable especially one of the ladies ,who was eating the whole time, and the man who was there this morning (09-17-19). Most of the patients here are old people and they need to be patience with them. This place needs seriously give them some training in costumer service.

First time here. I lost my job and health insurance. So now I have this option. The front desk clerk was very nice as it was my first time ever in a facility like this. I notice there can be a wait, but its a county health service so its expected. The staff inside the clinic was very attentive and helpful, HOWEVER the doctor here was a bit jaded, had a stoic demeanor, but Im giving him the benefit of doubt for now.Total time spent about 2hrs.

As a clerk at this facility - care improvements are always taken into consideration. The last few years have shown changes for the best service possible. El Monte Comprehensive Health Center values patients needs and wants. And patients are directed to the right person or department to meet their health care.True as it may be, time is of the essence. We know this. Patients are aware of this too. Los Angeles Countys Department of Health Services (DHS) deals and treats a lot of constituents on a very wide basis. Due to this reality, wait time is indeed crucial. So everyone needs to understand this.We have prerequisites. Patients need to comply. Compliance thus leads to mutual cooperation.Thus were available to help. With a shared collaboration with the public at large, we can all go a long way. We just need to work together and meet each other half way. More importantly, people need to know that they first need to do what is asked of them. Then we can do our part. The end result will then reveal that we do indeed serve and care at the end of the day.

Worst experience ever. The wait is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!! I went as a walk-in because if its your first time there (i was there 4 years ago, but yet that doesnt count anymore) they dont give u appointments. I was waiting in line before they even opened the clinic to get out of there faster. I got there at 6:30 am and didnt get to leave until 2pm...i could be starving waiting to be attended while staff or nurses finish their lunch, how great is that...and some receptionists shouldnt be working there either, they need to learn how to give better service.

Employees need a course on phone etiquette, patient relations, and quite possibly a happy pill. Additionally, people wait in line as early as 6am to be seen by Urgent Care personnel (and even then, they are not guaranteed to be seen) because they are unable to get an appointment with their primary care provider. If they do, its months out!Its just sad.

I work here and We give amazing care,thorough and well priced. There are programs if you have no insurance too.At times there is a wait but the quickest service is with an appointment and early morning schedule. There are many providers here and they all have different styles so theres a provider for everyone.

You give and crush narcotics into your patients when all they came in for was to get checked out and to be given motrin what their charts states. A nurse and a personnel gal was slapped with handcuffs today and taken off to jail and I will be informing the mayors office for the way you mal practice medicine and will have your clinic investigated or shut down.

So I live in Arizona and I’m trying to play Xbox with Daniel Mendoza (one of your patient) and there is a new game (apex legends) but of course they cant hurry up and authorize his vaccines...now where does that leave me, ANGRY...!!!!! Terrible service! The staff on the phone are rude and don’t know what they’re doing! They misinformed me about an appointment I made and now I have to reschedule. I’m sick now and would rather pay cash somewhere else than have my insurance pay for this place! I will NEVER go back to this disorganized chaotic and very unprofessional place! I’m surprised they’re allowed to be open!

First appt here, waited 8 hrs to be seen. Was told by drs to visit the general hosp for exams, got exams and drs believe I have cancer and they sent me back to this clinic to get referal for CT-SCAN. Called right away for appt on Friday but was told system was down to make appts. *I visited ER due to pain on weekend, CT-SCAN was done and I was told I do have some sort of Cancer and I need to be seen with clinic so that I can be referred to an Oncologist. **Called Drs office monday morning for appt set up, was on hold for 2 hrs then my call was droped during hold. I called back noce more, after another 3 hr wait on the phone a lady was going to make appt for me (supposedly) and then she hung up on me!!! Above comment rated this 4 stars and says back in the day it was bad now its better; so i guess the reviews on here are obsolite? I along with many others rated this low for a good reason, not the best place for rapid or attentive service. I hope they read this.

All the other reviews are out of date, written during the Great Recession when LA county was dealing with huge budget cuts and short staffing. Trust me, the administrators here really do care about every patients satisfaction. All they care about is making things safer, better, easier, more convenient for patients.The way county was run 5 years ago is different than how its run now. True, a county worker has job security for life, but there is a lot of emphasis on training the workers right.Ive been to the doctors and pharmacy at El Monte CHC several times and Ill list out the pros and cons.Pros:Staff cares about patient safety as #1, patient care #2, staff performance#3.Not driven to make money like other doctors offices and retail chain pharmacies.Always some type of improvement going on. They got a new computer system, the pharmacy got remodeled. The workers there are younger, friendly, careful, and attentive.The pharmacy works with the doctors offices so theres never a problem with the pharmacy not being able to get a hold of my doctor if theres a problem or if I forget what the doctor told me. The pharmacy always helps and looks it up for me.They make it right. The doctors staff one time gave me someone elses prescription and the pharmacy caught it. They needed my prescription so they assigned a pharmacy person to specifically deal with my case. Although I waited extra time in the pharmacy to get the news about my prescription, my medicine for my infection was ready under an hour.No one judges you here. Everything is real simple here and basic. I feel like I fit in, i dont have to wear a shirt and tie to see my doctor and the security guards dont stare at me like Im trying to commit a crime.I get all the time I want to talk to a pharmacist. One time they didnt have my medication and I had to go to a CVS. although its different at CVS, I waited 15 min to drop off my prescription, it was ready in 45 min. And they told me it was over $200. I asked to speak to the pharmacist to see what it was for and if I really need it. They said the pharmacist was really busy but if I wait, I could talk to him. Well I waited almost 30 min just to talk to a pharmacist about the medications.Its definitely busy at cvs just like at El Monte. But I could tell everyone is overworked at CVS and they were miserable. At El Monte, theyre not miserable and theyre never mean or rushing me or other people or each other.The pharmacy is never out of stock. I guess cause so many people take the same thing they just have lots of stuff in the back.Cons:Long wait. Its expected. Theyre not charging me any extra money for doctors visits or pharmacy prescriptions.I take 13 medications, I would hope that they take their time and review my medications to make sure everything is right and Im not getting something thats gonna hurt me.All said, The county clinic in EL Monte is better than it was 5 years ago, even an year ago its better. Just be patient, voice your concerns and thoughts to the workers in a nice way and they honestly try their best to help you. It may take time, it usually does, but they do everything they can to avoid a mistake

I really doubted going from the first moment .. Call and they had the line for more than two hours for what? To give me a vaccination appointment within 1 month of 1 messssss !!!! .. I call to cancel because my daughter is in fluids and the same thing happens .. They call me back just because I did not say an immediate answer they hang me .. Bad service . just because the fucking system assigned me a doctor for my daughter but I made the change the good thing that already makes it effective in 1 week ..
