Always a great place to get a haircut, but the service has dropped off a bit since covid. Sometimes it feels like they are just trying to get you out of the seat and do a rush job.

I Love Martha & Ofelia. These 2 Gals have the Best Customer Care & Creativity in Hair Solutions. Martha does the Best Creations for HAIR EXTENTIONS. She Has Quality Hair & she has different prices. From my Experience You get what you Pay for!!! I love the Thick Elite Quality compared to the inexpensive. It more thicker, sillier & does not Shed. Its pricey, But no keep changing because its good quality. Thank you Martha for Always Taking care of my Hair!!!

Went to this beauty salon in February and got my hair washed hair dried. I got it straightened by the hair straighter I prefer hair blow dried straight but was satisfied with my results. They only accept cash no other forn of payment accepted. The wait was like 25 mins. Friendly service and overall good experience.

Great stylist

I went to marthas salon for the 1st time and it will be the LAST!!! I put on micro weft (a full track with beads) and my hair was so tangled like a dreadlock .. she never expalin to me anything she said it wouldnt get tangled and now another stylist at a diff place had to cut my dreads off. And saved as much hair posible.. i wont be reccomending people to marthas. This is her fished work ... i have no idea why would she put beads in between the track

I live on the Upper East Side and Ive been going to Albert at Machos Barber Shop for about a year now. There are plenty of barbers closer to where I live but I choose to make the trip downtown because hands down, hes the best. The real deal. Really thorough, takes the time to get to know you (and your hair!), and its always a great time hanging with the guys at the shop (seriously, ask them about football or Obama).On a side note, its crazy hard to find someone who knows how to cut Asian hair, so Albert is a great find.Cant beat the price either. Solid haircut for $20. Im going to keep coming back for as long as I live in South El Monte.

Get traditional haircuts or popular trending style cuts. Fridays, Saturdays can have a wait time of 2 hours.

First and last time I went there, I made an appointment for my daughter and myself and I told Martha that for my girl I wanted it on her shoulders and she left it in the middle of her back, which I did not like, but before I cut it off, I iron it without asking for my authorization and without even letting me know, my girl is 5, I would never have done that to her hair. I was so angry inside that I dont know how she didnt run out of there. Then I showed Martha a photo of the cut or style that I wanted but what do they think? I cut it as she wanted and I leave it much longer than what I asked for at the end, I wave it and my head still stinks of burning when I have washed my hair up to 2 times. Very common their work implements I did not like the place at all or the bad vibes of this very sarcastic woman the lady definitely I do not recommend this place ever !!!!
