Because of its sleepy location this Big 5 doesnt get the traffic that others do so you can find some sweet deals on closeout items. Friendly helpful staff to boot

The selection of sporting goods seems picked over and outdated. While the selection wasnt up to par, the customer service made up for it. Also some great things to catch on sales racks.

I was approached by the store manager if I needed help when I first walked in and ask ifbi can wait a 5 - 10 mins and I was wondering the store looking at random items a d a young lady came and ask me if I still needed help cause their closing the store. I felt like they did that o purpose. Since that happen Im a return the stuff I bought and never return back to that Big 5 sporting & goods ever again.

Helpful crew. Purchased some bb guns and the guys that helped me were very friendly and knowledgeable.

It was clean, not a lot of selection, but they do have basics in a pinch. Customers tend to forget about social distancing but thats not the fault of the business, though they could post reminders throughout. All in all its a basic catch all store.

This is a very nice Big 5 I went to look for fishing gear there was a small but great priced section. You Must have exact change. Cashier was nice.

Big 5 has all the sports equipment, clothes, shoes, camping gear, and much more. The sales associates are very helpful. This is usually our go to place, esp when we need something last minute, we could always find something.

The staff were not friendly, especially the one who checked out our purchase. She did not make eye contact and looked extremely displeased to be serving us.We go here quite often due to the fact that we live in the close proximity and the varieties are quite good as well as the price range.If the staff do not wish to be friendly, then I am more than happy to spend my hard earned money to a different store. (I totally understand that there can be a few difficult customers, but that should not deter you from providing good service. Trust me I have been working in the service industry for over 25 years).

Called them in the morning to make appointment for firearms safety certificate, the manager told me to come at 2:00 pm , went there 10 minutes before my appointements. With a weird attitude she told me She can’t take me right now. And I have to comeback tomorrow I told her that I have appointment she didn’t care. I left and went to deck’s sporting and got my business done in 30 minutes . Big 5 you lost a big customer because of your manager . I’m an athlete I spent so much money at your stores . Lots of great sporting equipment. I have been building my home gym up and bought dumbbells from here. They have kettlebells, plates, benches, bands and more. Their dumbbells only go up to 50lbs and kettlebells only go up to 35lbs which is probably fine for most people but I had hoped they had more. Their medicine balls are also the smaller kind, outside of this I had no complaints. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and the store is clean and well organized. Lots of stuff to look at if you just want to look through a sporting goods store.

Opposed to getting customer service I got profiled, immediately when I walked into the store a representative followed me the entire time. I didnt even get a chance to start looking at items.

The guy with the glasses in the shoe dept was very helpful and patient when I was looking for shoes for worked helped me try on many different shoes he was very knowledgeable and helped me find some that were comfortable gives me support and doesnt hurt my feet

Decent selection but staff is atrociously bad. If you know what you want, can find it on your own, & dont have any questions, its an ok place. If you need help, have questions about gear, or want to try on shoes, go ANYWHERE else.

I bought a mossberg 715t here and it was $60 cheaper than 3 other stores. i love this place and will continue to come here for my camping, paintball, air gun, and real gun purchases

Decent sports goods selection at reasonable prices especially if youre on their mailing list.

A lot of stuff to choose from. Can usually find what I need. Prices are good, especially sale items. Coupons provide great savings. Staff is helpful.

They dont always have items on stock if you are looking for big items such as exercise bikes. The staff is helpful. Trying on clothes is complicated since customers must go to front desk and wait for cashier to be free so they can walk you to dressing room and unlock the door. You cant go out for another item or different size since the door locks behind you. One dressing room. Shoe service is slow.
