What an awesome experience today at the Center for Better Hearing. My mom’s hearing aid was broken and not many places are open on Saturday. Eitan was able to fix it quickly, and even spent the extra time to clean it and run it through the dehumidifier. My mom said her hearing aid never sounded so good! Then I couldn’t take it anymore, I could not understand my grandsons so one day I was in the EC Shopping Center and just dropped in. I have never regretted it. Compared to other practitioners Ive dealt with, Greg Frees knowledge and expertise in adjusting and fitting hearing aids puts him in a class by himself. Found Center for Better Hearing on internet. On Friday just before Labor Day my right hearing aide would lose sound intermittently. Called for an appointment with the business I had purchased both aides from and was told it would be over two weeks before someone could see me.Contacted Center for Better Hearing and got an appointment with Joanne the following Tuesday. She determined there was a short in the wire attached to the ear mold. Said it would be about 7-10 days turnaround. Sent it in to the manufacturer and received it back nine working days later.Best part, upon getting the mold back and reattaching, Joanne took the time to answer all my questions and did not charge me anything for the whole service process.Doesn’t get any better than that, especially in this day and age. Thanks Joanne and CENTER FOR BETTER HEARING.

This place is truly great. I was new to hearing aids and Gregory set me up with a pair that exactly fit my needs for my budget. My ears have completely different hearing profiles and he designed each aid (including a mold for one ear) to accommodate for that.What I didnt realize at the time of buying was the importance of upkeep and maintenance. Center for Better Hearing absolutely shines in this regard. You can get in to see someone very quickly. Theyre even open on Saturday.I could go on but space is limited. Ive worked with all of their fitters and each one is professional and friendly. And they never tried to sell me something that I didnt want or need.My neighbor and a friend all bought their HAs here and they also are happy with their choice.--Jeff A

Joanne is Kind, Patent, Understanding, Flexible, Knowledgeable, she just wants whats best for me. I feel really comfortable with her. This is a first class business with terrific customer service. I purchased hearing aids from them five years ago, and go in for a free check up every six months. Greg is a professional in every respect, and always makes sure everything is working properly and to my satisfaction. When I eventually need new hearing aids, I absolutely will get them from Greg.

Ive been wearing hearing aids since my early 40s and now Im 75. Ive been to several top rated hearing aid places in San Francisco over the years to get step ups in the fast changing technology. This time though, I was fortunate to have found Center for Better Hearing. I now have Otican, in the ear aids that solve many of the problems that I have had with hearing aids over the years. Im particularly happy that the latest technology as applied by Greg has adjustments which shut out background noise when I need to and focus my amplification on the people who are within 3-4 feet of me with whom I am conversing. This is truly amazing change if you have been following the evolving technology in the past 20 years. Also the customizing of the software as applied by Greg was very nuanced to ameliorate my severe hearing loss at the high ranges. If you live anywhere in Northern California (or anywhere for that matter) it is worth a trip see these amazing folks at Center for Better Hearing, who know so much about solving hearing problems.
