The ONLY reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because of Dr. Papa. He was the BEST doctor I have ever had. After I had my daughter I didnt really need to see him though. I have other reoccurring issues and I have never had any luck getting the help I need here. The staff as well as the doctors will blatantly lie to your face. They will forget things, one time they gave me a shot I didnt need that I had ALREADY GOTTEN. They dont take the time to listen they just give you a referral to pain management and send you on your way. Then you are stuck waiting to get in with them for more than 3 months. I have had nothing but problem with this place. When I was pregnant it was a dream cause Dr. Papa helped with EVERYTHING I needed. Once I didnt need him it all went down hill.

Worst clinic. I asked for an urgent referral and it took them over 3 weeks to do it. Urgent referrals should be processed in one or two days. Also avoid Giselle Valencia, she has lied to my face numerous times and is the worst healthcare professional I have ever encountered. She does not take anything I say seriously and never communicates what I need to the referral coordinator. I have to call this clinic 10 times just to get an urgent referral processed for an urgent health problem. This clinic does not even deserve one star, I have had the most horrible experience with the doctors there. The communication within this clinic is horrible, nobody ever knows what is going on.

On September 2 when I going to the urgent care for covid 19 test at 6:48Pm they told me we cant check at this time because we have customer they have only 3 customer and the security guard  told me if u stay here it will take 2 hours and we will be closed at 8 pm the security guard have very bad attitude and name of the nurse was Zuzann....So this hospital doesnt have  urgent careThe have only the name and time wester hospital

The worst clinic I’ve ever seen gives you medications and doesn’t tell you the side effects you will have. All the doctors are always booked so when I need to speak to my primary doctor because of the bad side effects I’m having they give me an appointment three weeks from now. Very bad service.

At Urgent Care I got no insurance & was recommended by cvs walk in clinic who wouldn’t take me. So I go and pay the $75 fee. Everything was good up until I got home. The nurse practitioner “czar a.” forgot to call in for my medications. So I call in (20 min waiting time) and the clown on the phone tells me they don’t open till Tuesday. It’s Saturday rn. Good thing it’s not an major emergency I would be dead rn. So I’m just sitting here in pain. There was no point in paying 75 bucks. Such a waste of time

There is no more people waiting for the covid test, just me and im been here for 2 hours. They will tell people that is up to 3 hrs wait for the test but there was only 2 more people when i got here…

Don’t bother and get your COVID test here you won’t get your result within a week and still have to wait 2-3 days for them to give you a call I had to go and get my results because they were to lazy to call and give me my results by phone .

My husband and I went to the Urgent Care facility, waited about ten minutes and was greeted by an incredibly helpful young lady. She spent a good twenty minutes with us, discussing my symptoms and whether or not care was needed. She was frank and honest about what would occur if I did seek care, which she said was likely unneeded.I am extremely grateful for her honesty and am glad to say my fears were for naught. Thank you.

I have seen dr papa for the last 5 years....he is such an incredible person. He really cares and listens to all of your concerns, good Doctors are very hard to come by I couldn’t Imagine trying to find another like him. I almost gave up on this place until Dr. Papa came.!

The district manager did an interview online with some One and hiding his face just appeared his eyes . No reply back with any answers with yes or no for long time . Its mafia for hiring the employee.

The doctor said we dont do surgery until we know the problem and the cyst is dangerous and very big my daughters looks 4 months pregnant and the doctor told her to go to the ER!!!!!!! My girlfriend needed a test for COVID-19 and they were extremely careless and rude. Two security officers talked to us with a bunch of attitude, and then told us it was pointless to ask the front information. They also claimed that “the clinic has no idea what they are doing here.” These two men shouldn’t have jobs here if they talk to patients like this. Absolutely wretched customer service, and horrible representation of a badge and uniform. This place is terrible, save yourself time and go somewhere else where you are treated with respect, as medical inquiries and issues are extremely stressful and worrisome. No one should be disrespecting or having an attitude with someone when they are worried about their health. Get new security officers and relieve these poor excuses of “security” of their duties. They clearly don’t care about their duties.

Very good facility. They have been very helpful to me over the years. You can not beat the prices. I am so grateful they are here.

I’ve had back pain for 2 years, now this people wouldn’t do a damn thing, they were just scamming me for my money. If you don’t care about getting scammed, than be my guest. Miss this place. I moved out of state and havent found a better place than this. Dr. Jose and Joseph Carroll were my Physicians. Joseph Carroll was great at listening and if it wasnt for him they would have never discovered my cancer in time. I have on-going health problems and I always felt taken care of at Borrego Health. They always did their best to get me in. Dr. Naranjo is also great. They have a great mental health clinic. As I understand it, They were going to add someMental Health Physicians for children. I am not sure if they have but it would be great to check out if you are searching.

Horrible women’s health.. I made a call to inform my prescription was running out and that I was also due for my annual exam. They schedule me for this visit and all they do in the 45 minutes that I’m waiting in the exam room is write a refill for a prescription I’ve been on for over 7 years, a visit was not needed to do that. This should always be done over the phone if a follow up on a new prescription is not needed. Then they tell me I need to reschedule my annual exam as I wasn’t due yet (the following month), so I go to the front desk where THEY come up with the date of 2/7.. I was never told an exact date this could be done at the earliest. I just received a call that I would need to reschedule this visit that again that THEY scheduled for me because that’s 20 days from my annual exam being due. Fairly certain my bodily makeup isn’t going to change in a 20-day span and I know from my own personal work within Medicare and private insurance that this visit does not have to be completed 365 days from the last one. I’m already over this office having me take time off work for a visit that didn’t need to happen and a co-pay that I didn’t need to pay, and now you’re telling me the time I’ve taken off work for the second visit THEY scheduled me for can’t happen on that date? No, lose my number, I’m not your patient any longer. You had one job, scheduling..

I was waiting For two hours to get the test for covid-19 because Im coughing for last 6 days and I cannot go back to my work if I didnt do the test and Doctor Nuno refuse to do the test for me

I went in after my car accident and had to pick a primary doctor which was a little difficult due to me not knowing any of the doctors. Almost everyone who I spoke to recommended doctor Stewart Wilkey. Staff, family, and friends suggested I chose him as my primary doc. He was very quick to meet with me and I didnt have to wait at all. He was super friendly and professional, not only did he perform his job and prescribe the right medication, he also took the time to ask about the accident and what kind of car I drove. Ive had 2 primary doctors before Dr. Stewart and by far hands down this was my best experience. Hopefully you dont need to see a doctor but if you do then definitely consider him. I actually look forward to my follow up on Thursday.

Best medical clinic/center I have ever gone to. I wouldnt change it as my primary doctors office unless I were forced for some reason. Most of the doctors are fantastic, though there are a couple who are... questionable, but it might be that our personalities clashed. It happens. But by and far, I love my medical center and doctors!!

Wonderfull staff.

I moved to San Diego about a month ago and I decided to take my month old daughter to Dr. Figueroa as her pediatrician. Dr. Figueroa is very opinionated, but a very good doctor. I would have stayed if I didnt have to deal with the nurses and the front office. They are completely incompetent. They were not capable of calling in a prescription, they DO NOT answer the phones, even when you say it is emergent. This happened to me on 3 different occasions. I simply do not understand why these women do not care about the patients. I would NEVER suggest going here. Find yourself, and your children a doctor that is capable of managing their practice.

The wait wasn’t too bad. The front desk seemed more concerned about talking to their friend than helping people at the check in. I stood there and she ignored me whilst continuing to talk to her friend. The dr came in and talked to me for maybe 3 minutes. Gave me a prescription of antibiotics and was on his way.

This urgent care is the best urgent care Ive ever been to! The doctors are polite and so are the medical assistants and nurses. Im always in and out within 2 hours. Excited to try the family practice.. I will re- review after trying the family practice..

A lot of waiting, many times my doctor just canceled my appointment few hours before the appointment. They don’t have website to put patients information like blood test results. I think they need work hard to improve the clinic

If you are considering losing your health and your family s health go to the Centro Medico El Cajon / Borrego Health. This center was one of the best centers in the El Cajon city, but now it is the worst one. There is no respect for the patient, the administrative staff is bad, they prefer the computer to the patients life. Have you ever seen worse than this?

Worst clinic ever. They have to change the management staff for sure. I had an appointment two weeks ago and they had me waited for almost 35 minutes without being seen by the doctor yet. I talked to the manager and left the clinic. After few days, I recieved a mail saying that the doctor wants to see me to discuss my lab results and I made another appointment and they promised me if I can be there at 8, I will be seen right away. Here I am, I waited over 30 minutes just for the doctor to tell my that my lab resutls are good. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC

Rude, they keep ignoring us while we waited to be called up. They were speaking to each as if we are not there. They are super inconsiderate and they one guy behind the best was what do you want? I love my doctor that is there but the staff that works at the front desk needs to be trained on people skills.

So I canceled my job for today because yesterday they left me a message and when I called them back to confirm my appointment the girl at the reception told me to be here tomorrow at 1:00! So I showed up today February 5th, and when I told the girl at the reception I have an appointment with Dr. Paige at 1:00 she told me your appointment is tomorrow and not today. I am not mad but seriously get it together! No matter what you’re going through always make sure you give an information correctly. It’s health care facility and not a fun hanging out appointment that you canceled that last minute. And I have a job I live off and I lost nine hour shift and money because of your wrong information that’s given.

I never had a problem there and have always encountered kind, polite and extraordinarily helpful people. The Urgent care wait is a bit long, especially if u t in pain. But Im very glad I found this place and live a bit away.Very pleased with the service of care!!

I have had so many unpleasant experience here. There so many incompetence MD and NP are working here including their rude office manager. All they care is making you sick so they can visit you more often. I was told by 2 different MD that my Cholesterol is high, then I refused them they find out that they are looking at somebody elses lab result. Love yourself and dont go to this building. I have changed my PCP since they have refused to refill my meds despite the visit and lab work done a month prior, I bet they think I am somebody else. Dont visit these people.

This clinic is one of the most worst place in El Cajon, the building is nice but the service is worst, they are really cheater, one time I was suppose to do a vaccine shot to my child, but I couldn’t made it on time, you know what! They already put that which have done the vaccine shot, it’s really bad, urgent care is also worst department, I got some infection in my lips but the doctor, without knowing what it is or blood test, telling me you will be fine in 2 days, you had some bad fever or cold or stress which it cause your lips, but it’s almost a week which I suffer from a really bad pain, please if you guys want to take care your health better I recommend you guys never go to this clinic,

A lot of Iraqis work there in front desk, cant even speak decent proficient language. looks like cheap BAD service once you enter there, and start right away speak in Arabic. bad experience feels like siting at one of Baghdads dirty clinics and the employees just horsing around.

Staff is not properly trained, everyone is lost, they don’t know their job and we pay for their mistakes. Do your self a favor by not wasting your time at this medical center.

Security guards are very unprofessional

I called before I came and they said they took my insurance. When I got here they told me they dont accept my insurance and couldnt see me. Im in a lot of pain and now I cant go to a different urgent care, because by the time I would get there theyd be closed. Apparently they dont take hmos.

This clinic has moved too Magnolia and Main Street. And This clinic is now dumping patients on the emergency room not getting any quality care. And it is very degrading to the patients in pain. I had met a woman that had a child three days earlier. And she went to this clinic and told to go to the emergency room. She was at the emergency room for over three hours not seen by any doctor. This is blatant patient dumping for profit. I believe it is a felony refusing service to provide adequate care for patients. My spouse should have been seen by her doctor or urgent care doctor. And she was not seen at two emergency rooms being considered a low priority. So the emergency room can deny service by making you wait for ever. Sincerely Matthew Melley

Stupid staff working there. I need medical equipment for my mom neck, they mail me a referral notification letter with address to schedule the appointment. so I made the appointment with medical equipment specialist. went to the address that centro medico El Cajon location mail it to me with a referral letter , the specialist was not there I saw different people told me you don’t have appointment the specialist and his staff moved to different location 7 years ago!!! REALLY Borrego Health center you give wrong address to your patients!!!!

I was a patient there for almost 3 yrs and during those 3 years i had issues with the staff and the doctor...i had problems with my tummy and i told dr carroll i was seen what was going on and he never sent me to have test or blood work tested..these was a conitnue issue nothing was beening done, all i was given was pills and thats it. until i looked on the internet and i found out i had ibs and i told the doctor carroll and he still wasnt doing nothing about it..until this landed me in the hospital ( which i was in for a month and a half ) i had diverticulitis which half of my intestine had to be cut and i have now a stoma. i feel this could have been prevented if this doctor wouldve listen...after this my apptments were been ing change/ cancel or the doctor carroll was not there.....i spoke to the manager about what had happen and how the staff was with us ( claiming they call or trieding to give a appt of there choice) she spoke to them and they were nice for a while but then they turned out to be rude a few mos later...my husband and mother in law and myself change to another clinic and now we are beening heard, my doctor on top of my problem and its wondeful there......check around first then coming here..:/

Dr Fazela Wasimi told me not to eat or drink (only water) after 11:59 pm last night for a blood test today at 8 am. I go in today, and they say theyre not doing blood tests today...

They are okay now; better than before. The waiting used to take forever like 45 mins now its 15 mins. I take my kids to dr, F brenda she is such an amazing doctor; i love her attitude and how she makes things clear to you. For me, i see T. Tamara. She is amazing as well she is very smart and knows what she talks about. I love them both. The other staff are just okay. I wish their nurses smile more and be happy to be working there. When i try to make a joke with them some of them dont reply back or say anything you say even if it was funny. Please hire more professional staff to make your clinic more friendly and patients will be also happy to be there. Dont hire those who are not experienced enough and you hire them just because they speak Arabic and little English. Maria the manager is nice she listens to your probelms with her staff and she tries to fix them. Not the other manager i fogot her name she listens but never acts. Maria is more serious and she cares to make this place better.

The Dr I dealt with was beyond rude. She didnt understand what I was saying. After explaining several times, she ended our appt making it seem as if i couldnt speak proper english. She also didnt explain the blood work and left saying that id see the results on the discharge paperwork, and to see another doctor.That left me not only unsatisfied and having to Google my results...but in the hospital within a week.

Never expect to be seen at your appointment time, but if your 10 minutes late they will turn you away. Speak fast because the doctors will rush you to hurry up. It usually takes 4+ visits to get a referral for adults but same day for children. The doctors and nurses are good if you can get in. There usually is a 2 week wait for appointments. Any races out of the Middle East will be a minority there.Positive: x-Ray on site, Peds, adult medicine, Arabic and Spanish translators (NO ASL), onsite lab, female medicine, and OBGYN.The ONLY reason I keep going is because its a one stop for my whole familys medical needs.

The worst urgent care! I will never go back. Everything people are saying about this place is true. They are rude, employees (the men) standing around doing nothing except socializing. Waited an hr in lobby, I had to go to the desk to see if they forgot about me, after seeing people that came in 1/2 hr after me, getting called in! Girl at desk said they are going to call me in a few min. They did, but only to find out it was the wrong type of dr. I explained to the receptionist who I came to see, Dr Oda, but this person never came in, only the blood pressure nurse, who was VERY rude, acting as the go between for the dr! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, unless youre middle eastern, which, if you are, will have no problem getting seen...if I could give no stars, I would!

Horrible clinic EVER!! went twice (different doctors) both times they were in and out in 5 minutes! the second time i went the male doctor i had blamed me for a foot pain i was having. because of my wight he kept saying i dont walk or exercise and its my fault i was in pain!( i have a 8 month old whos very active im lucky if i can have some sit and relax time) i needed test results read and he said he couldnt because he wasnt the doctor who order the test but yet he read the test Results to his Assistant in front of ME!! at the end i was able to talk to a manager all she said was she was sorry gave me a complaint paper and sent me on my way!!!

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone this is by far the worst clinic ever, 2 girls who worked the desk who I later saw running through the halls giggling like it was recess at school couldn’t do their job correctly and were playing in the clinic, little to no technology at all, called about my bloodwork but apparently I have to wait 2 weeks for a follow up with my doctor to hear my results when I could just be told over the phone rather than going to this extremely unprofessional health clinic, this place should Ben shut down basically nobody but the doctors here speak proper English.

I visited this clinic, because I moved from another clinic was far from home. This clinic is the worst Ive seen the clinic in the United States .. which does not have any privacy of the patient, the doctors do not care for the sick and not listening to the patient. I met with the doctor (Armando) did not allow me to tell him about patients when he said that you have the right to only one question .. !!! Quick attention, unfortunately they can never give references, they do not notify and if one is called the same they do not have inf until they expire and there is a need to request again. The first time I thought that I was the one who did not insist or I missed the information about the appointments, I returned and more than two months insisting and they said NOTHING that there was no answer until they call me from the specialist and they tell me their time to attend you IS ALREADY CANCELED because he never showed up.

The wait is terrible, sincerely they should do something so that patients do not wait so long. Thats why youre supposed to set your date so you dont wait forever ...

Bad service is supposed to be for care and do not even know that prescribing takes a long time for you to attend and does not take even 5 min in the room so they know well that you have not come out of what is a virus or bacteria is all When they dont know what you have, they send with the specialists and they dont even know whats wrong with you, especially with Dr. Olivera and the pediatricians who dont even want to see the children fast, I dont know what they are doing if they dont attend the what time did they give you
