Outstanding Customer ExperienceI was inspired to write this review because of my outstanding customer experience with Milholland Roofing and Solar. A March 2020 roof leak morphed into a new roof and 12 panel Sunpower solar system for my Bay Park home. Every step of the process was a positive experience; Oscar fostered an informative, accessible, and low-pressure sales process. Maya, the project coordinator, was timely and communicative for every project phase. Marthas roofing team, from demo to completion, did excellent work. My house is nearly 70 years old, and the roof excavation required unanticipated extra days, made up over the 4th of July weekend. The solar install was quick, seamless, and activated within a few days from completion. In total, I had a new roof and energy-producing solar in under a month and a halfs time from contract initiation. Roofing and solar is a substantial investment; price alone shouldnt be the sole determining factor. Milholland delivered tremendous value, final product and outstanding customer experience. Dont hesitate to partner with this exceptional company and team.

Milholland Electric was by far the most professional and knowledgeable Solar Company for my job. I interviewed 6 other companies to survey my 30 panel solar project with new roof, first time new AC and new furnace. Not one of the other companies could figure out how to downgrade my electric panel and get my job done without spending thousands extra for moving all the main service. Milholland not only got it done but used brand new sub panels in a very clean install without having to move the entire main electric panel outside to a visible wall on my deck which would have costs thousands of dollars. This just made me shake my head at these other companies. Milholland was able to install my new roof and be completely done and ready for Solar in 3 days. They were able to finance the Roof and Solar together at a great lease rate. Milholland coordinated with Guthrie Heating & AC to install a brand new AC unit & furnace in my home at a great price and a seamless install for having both big jobs done at the same time. They did all this while working with me on friends and family I had coming to visit and stay at my home. Jason a direct sales representative for sun power is smug. Nothing against the business milholland. I am writing this to let other know to beware of Jasons aggressive sales tactics. He is too busy for emails as a general contractor. He does have sun power system and a Tesla he will share his information and SDG&E bills with you.Sun power panels are out of our budget but, I will say I believe in the one product one company motto. When I explained this to Jason and our situation I felt berated for not choosing sun power.

We recently had our roof resealed and solar installed. We could not be happier with everyone involved with our project! I would recommend anyone looking for a roof or solar to use Milholland.

I quoted and talked to 5 companies. Milholland provided the best price using name brand parts. Harry in sales was great during the sales process. Brian was very polite coming out to do the site survey. Tom did a solid job as project manager and was easy to work with. Very pleased with the installation and follow up. Has only been 2 weeks since going live, but so far so good. Thanks to David for putting together a very customer centric team.

Great experience. Walked us through every step of the process and very quick to answer our questions. Also, not crazy pushy during the sales process. Adam was excellent in making sure I understood how the system would work, the difference in panels and the quantity of panels I would need based on our condumption. Their follow-up on our investment has also been a nice bonus. I would absolutely recommend Milholland for solar installation.

Dont even bother.... last message that was received from the PM or Sales Rep (??) was:It usually takes a few days to get all the plans drawn, I have contacted Maya and Omar to begin the process. I am working with Sunpower to get the credit app and loan documents sent. They are having trouble with your address due to it being a new home. That of course was over a month ago. They will truly pretend like they are competent but in the end will leave you high and dry....FAIL.

We had our roof and solar done in one go with Millholland. They were very professional and talked us through all stages of the project. We ran into a small issue at the end of the job which they took care of completely. The new roof looks great and the solar is paying for itself.I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone thinking of doing a roof and or solar.

I compared a few companies, they were able to match the lowest offer I got from another company. Their service was very efficient and fast. The installation took less than a day. There hasnt been any rain yet, so time will tell whether there is any leaks. But they have their own roofing team, and they back it with 20 years warranty so I am not too worried. I ran into some problems at the end but the fault is mostly on SDGE side. They were prompt to help me solve the issue. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I recommend them to my co worker. He was less pleasant than I did. I dont know the detail, but if you have older roof or clay tile roof, be sure to ask about the cost of repair/replace broken tiles during installation.

I was very happy with the solar installation on my home. The time it took to install the panels and the new panel breakers for my home took a total of three day. Very efficient and fast. I would recommend Milholland electrical to anyone interested in solar.

They outperformed the work and got my solar panels working better than before. The roof looks great they also did replace many facia boards and the gutters. I am very happy with the results. The price was also low.

Milholland Electric was a pleasure to deal with when we went solar. They keep us informed along the way and when we call them regarding questions they were prompt to answer our questions. They explain the process step by step and when done Keep Us Informed how to apply for State Rebates and other special funds to apply for. They also sign us up for an email monthly that tells us how much electricity we generated for the month. It is nice to see how it all works. During the process the workmen were clean and professional and let us know what to expect in the days that followed. They were done in less than a week and now we wait for SDG& E to get to our project which also took a week. So all in all it was a total turn around time of 2 weeks before we were producing electricity.We would highly and strongly recommend Milholland Electric for going Solar for PRICE, Quality of Workmanship, Professionalism before during and after the install, and for guidance in applying for state refunds and grants. Milholland intalled our solar system one flawless year ago. Their design layout worked perfectly and was unobtrussive. The company is very knowledgeable, which resulted in a superbly performing system with no problems. On average, we have been sending SDG&E about 10 kWh per day and we have negaative electricity costs. A great company!
