Great bank because they dont have fees, but the lines are so long now and they dont allow you to use their restroom anymore. Would have given 4 stars for restroom use and 5 if they would have re financed my car.. I have a great credit score but I had 1 collection for a hospital bill that I was mis diagnosed at and refuse to pay it so they wouldnt refinance me.. Credit score is 740+ and havent missed a payment but they still wont help me out on my car loan

Update: As of now, I have spent a total of 7 hours in the last 2 weeks with this organization to give me the run around and misplace information regarding the account... just for them to tell us that we have restart the process again. All I can say is if you want chaos and lack of coordination, this is the bank to work with.My father banked here and since his passed away they have not been at all helpful. All his other banks have been sympathetic and helped up step by step through the process. I have wasted more time dealing with different procedure, leaving voicemails, and being hung up on. I feel terrible for my mom and seeing her stress about having to call them.

First time in this branch of California Coast. WOW, what SUPER service from very friendly people. They answered all of my questions w/o gobble-goop. No wonder Ive been with them since mid 70s when they only had a hand-full of employees and were called Kearny Mesa Federal Credit Union. Keep it up, guys - great job!

They called me to tell me that someone was phishing my account. When I got my new card 2 weeks later, I used it 2 times, withdraw from my checking account. I used my pin # .I received a statement that told me that the money was charged to a credit card and I now have a 723$ loan to pay off.I asked how this could happen? I withdrew 300 one week and 400 the next, from my checking account and usedmy pin # both times .No one could tell me .someone is lying. They refused to accept their mistake, and would not remove the 23 $ service charges and interest. I closed my account. I cant trust them anymore. Dont you trust them either.

The ATM here never works. They never have enough bank tellers to help you.

Tellers were very unsympathetic and rude during this pandemic. The first gentleman sent me on my way without telling me my account had been closed. I returned to speak to a different teller and she showed no sympathy or support and avoided eye contact. Bad experience with this credit union overall, would not recommend.

Unfortunately poor experience with this credit union. Call tree and customer support is poorly maintained.

At least 6 times they cancelled or shut off my debit card without any knowledge from me saying to prevent fraud and help me out. I curgently have a few hundred in my account and tonight again DECLINED. I cant call them after hours. I was at a gas station attempting to fill my tank, so I had to borrow some money from my buddy while the bank illegally holds on to my money. They put check on hold only around the 1st of the month when rent is due saying they cannot release the hold. After several harsh words stating I will not let them hold my money to accumulate their ilown interest from it they happily released it. Been a member over 10 years on mu own stupidity save yourself the hardship they dont care about you period......

My experience has been a nightmare I pushed the one star to leave this message and they dont deserve this one star. The people Ive dealt with are very incompetent and has made mistakes that were very costly to me. Im now looking for another Credit Union Ive only been with Cal Coast 4 months. The El Cajon branch is full of it.
