I recently was walking and all the sudden I had an onset of severe lower back pain. I was unable to walk, lay or sit down without excruciating pain. I’m 23 and have never had any back issues before so naturally I was really uneasy about the situation. I went to Urgent Care, waited 6 hours and received little to no info on what was wrong with me except the vague dxn of “generalized muscle spasms” and a script for a muscle relaxer. My boyfriend recommended going to the Joint. Dr. Robert explained in depth about the probable cause of my problem and discussed a plan of treatment for the upcoming days and weeks. After my first adjustment, I could walk without pain!! I came back the same day and got my second adjustment and could sit down and stand up without crazy pain!! I’m super happy with my experience and can’t wait to come back for my next treatment!! So happy this is a huge change for my life!!

NEW PATIENTS, please be weary that all the positive reviews are from RETURNING patients (those who have purchased packages etc), judging from the negative reviews both here and Yelp this location has an apparent prejudice against new patients.Went in twice today and was never seen. Second time I came around 5:10 (on a day where they close at 7) and there were about 4 patients in front of me. I was told that the doctor would have no time to see me and to try the next day or go to the La Mesa branch. Meanwhile, she was already talking to the patient after me and was happy to put his name down. As a new patient I didnt feel welcomed, instead I felt like I was treated more as a nuisance. The doctor literally heard new patient and already shook his head and gestured to turn me away.Update: Since this review I have gone to the Santee location and confirmed my suspicions. The staff was much more accommodating, I was in and out in 10 minutes as a new patient. Each of my sessions since then has lasted less that 5 minutes with minimal wait. I was told at a typical Joint location unless its a crazy busy day the wait should not be more than 15 mins. Management, instead of sending blanket responses, maybe look into the issue.

Terrible service, waited on hold for 30 minutes with Linda and have not resolved payment issue. We were informed we could get 4 visits but turns out it is a recurring payment. Now trying to get money back for services not rendered

Always a great adjustment! Dr. Bob and Dr. Justin especially are rock stars! Very nice people and they really pay attention when you explain what is hurting and adjust their treatment for you to optimize the effect. Plus its the most affordable chiropractic you can find.

Dr Robert is awesome, I couldnt even breathe yesterday my back was so out of place and after getting adjusted twice I feel sooooo much better.

I went to this location because the office in La Mesa was closed. After my previous adjustment I felt great and was hoping to gettin better with my lower back issues. My chief area of concern was my lower back and absolutely NOTHING was done for it. He cracked my neck and spine without asking me to breathe in and out or giving any kind of que that he was going to pop it. I told him that my lower back still hurts and he answered very arrogantly on how it was a great adjustment and its not going to heal immediately. My pasts visits at the La Mesa office have been at least 7-9 minutes and the lists here 1 minute. Just felt that my money was not worth here. Very disappointed.

The Doctors are great. My favorites are Dr Bob, Dr Robert, and Dr Justin. All of them do a great job for me. Thanks

Have been going there for a couple of years. Always been good until my last recent visit. Got a new dr and did basically nothing but crack my neck. Having lower back pain. Usually takes about 5 minutes. This guy took 1 minute. Until they get a different dr go to another location. Husband had same experience with same dr.

My son recommended the joint to me when i have a sciatic back pain. The receptions are very courteous and friendly. Dr. Bob is the best.

Dr. Sharon Brown is by far the most thorough and observant chiropractor I have ever encountered. Her assessment skills are exceptional!

Dr. Bob is the GOLDEN option at this Joint location, Dr. Salmone is also great too. They also have friendly front desk workers that will make your wait better. However, I am changing my 5 star rating to a 3. Unfortunately a newer chiropractor was very rude and dismissive. The first and second adjustment, he ignored my concerns, and did exactly what I asked him not to. Today, the adjustment came to a prompt end only after asking him a 3rd time to not do a neck adjustment, then me having to use my hands to remove his from my neck. He even did a neck adjustment while I was laying face down, after I asked him not to. While I addressed this with management, Im unsure what actions are being taken. I hope that this chiropractor is educated more on health care disparities in indigenous and people of color communities. Because that is a big problem hes not helping. Very big yikes.

While filling out the paperwork, everyone that kept coming in were put in front of me even though I gave her my name to be put in line. I felt this was kinda rude

I came in for a new patient consultation and the receptionist turned us away because she said they were busy and only had one doctor on staff. There was absolutely nobody in the office except for one person and she clearly just doesnt want to do any work. She told us to come back at 3 just assuming that were free all day. Clearly this establishment doesnt care about new patients.

I absolutely love this practice! There is actually a Joint Chiropractic closer to my house but I drive additional time just to come here. Dr. Eric is by far the best chiropractor I have ever had. He is caring and compassionate, he also has a wonderful understanding of total body health which makes him even more trustworthy. I’m super grateful this place is still open and that I’m able to go in to keep my migraines at bay instead of relying on medications.

Dr. Joe Coppolino was incredible, he calmly listens. To all your concerns and was Great at taking care of me, I could hardly walk, now Im pain free.

I moved clinics because the doctors are so caring and listen to what your body needs. They can tell you how and what you feel before you tell them. I can always feel the difference after my adjustments. The monthly membership is affordable and going once or twice a week makes you realize how much you actually need adjustments in your life. Ive lived in 7 different states and been to multiple chiropractors in each one, Dr Adam Hall is the best chiropractor Ive ever been to, he does phenomenal adjustments and is a super nice guy! I also love the hours and convenience of The Joint. Highly recommend this place!!!

Dr Trainer has changed my life. I stumbled across him at the Carmel Valley location after my husband forced me to go in to see if they could help me. I luckily got Dr Trainer assigned to me. After years of severe migraines, physical therapy, and medication that didn’t help, he figured out my issue within minutes. Since seeing him I will go weeks without migraines, where as before I was getting them every other day. Dr. Trainer has been such a blessing. He genuinely cares and has gone above and beyond in my care. I’m beyond thankful for him. I am now seeing him at the El Cajon location since he moved from Carmel Valley. If he was an hour away, I would drive to see him as I haven’t found anyone else with his expertise and genuine care. Highly recommend. Thank you Dr. Trainer for changing my life.

I Have had a great experience with Dr. Hall at the Joint in El Cajon. First time time going to a chiropractor and Ive had back pain for 3 years. Today was my 2nd visit and the doctor was so gentle and he explain to me all about my issues and how he was going to fix them. I was really comfortable there and will keep going! I had been seeing another chiropractor for the past year. When he raised his rates, I decided to check out The Joint in El Cajon. In addition to an initial examination and adjustments, Dr. Trainer found an anomaly in my lower right back. He told me to get it looked at and I got an ultrasound. Most likely it is a nonbenign lipoma. Thank you for noticing this, Dr. Trainer!

I have been getting adjusted for over 12 years and have been using The Joint Franchises for 6 of those. I will have to say this has been the best of them all! Dr. Eric he has been the only person that has been able to easily adjust my neck! The only Chiro that has been able to do that well of an adjustment was a professor at Life University Chiro school!So after all that do I recommend The Joint in El Cajon off of Fletcher? With 100% certainty !

I went in yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. The desk staff was really nice. They even kept their cool when a woman tried to make a ruckus over the paperwork. I have never been to a chiropractor before and I felt immediate relief after being on the table. My only issue is that the pain in my shoulder and neck returned within 4 hours. But I dont blame that on the staff. This has been an ongoing issue for quite a long time. However almost 24 hours later and no pain in my hips or lower back. So hopefully the sore muscles in my shoulder and neck will start to calm down.

Each Dr. at the El Cajon Joint I have seen as well as their front desk staff are great! Everyone is extremely informative and makes you feel important and like an individual person instead of another number for them to check off.Now I see Dr. Eric Hall and he is fantastic!! I have been to Joint locations in other states and 2 other locations here in San Diego seeing multiple Drs at each location, and Dr. Hall is by far my top choice! He takes his time to understand your trouble areas and focuses on them along with adjusting and aligning everything else as well. He explains what he is doing and how the body works and comes up with a healthcare plan that best fits your needs and situation. Adjustments can be scary to some people but he never rushes, he waits until you are relaxed before continuing. I usually fight my neck being adjusted and occasionally hold my breath for one specific spot in my back but he helps me relax then continues and I feel phenomenal afterwards! He has been my chiropractor for a while now and is still continuing my treatment now with me being pregnant. He has explained the benefits of adjustments for my body now even more to help maintain keeping me and the baby healthy and in proper alignment throughout the next few months.Dr. Hall is fantastic and I recommend this location and him to everyone I know who is looking for a chiropractor!

Gone couple times so far wait is not horrible ever gone twice but longest waited was under 10min max. Chiropractor is amazing careing and overall great guy. My pain headaches have actualy lowered already and just getting started happy I signed up and became a memeber at the joint.

Visited this location (El Cajon) after visiting the Santee location and I had a much better experience at the El Cajon location. Santee did not do the full adjustments and it just felt as though they were trying to get me in out as quickly as possible. El Cajon was way more thorough and adjusted everything (not just my neck and lower back). The receptionist was very welcoming, kind and friendly and I was seen very quickly. Dr. Hall did an incredible job and I felt SO MUCH better after leaving. He knows what he is doing and he adjusted everything. He was informative and made sure he took the time that was needed for what needed to be adjusted. I felt comfortable, heard and it was the same the second time I returned which I appreciated very much. He is very kind, welcoming and accommodating and I am very pleased with my visits/results. I will be returning in a few days. THANK YOU Dr. Hall...you did an awesome job!

Absolutely loved my experience at the Joint yesterday! I’ve been wanting to visit the chiropractor and the moment I saw the sign, I knew I wanted to come when they officially opened. What was even better is they offered free consultations and adjustments on the weekend of their grand opening. I left feeling brand new! My chiropractor Dr.“Heinz” (forgive any mis spellings) she took wonderful care of me and was very sweet. She fixed my hip that was out of alignment. Because of the initial mis alignment, my feet were an inch off and I had no idea! Thankfully I’m all better now. I signed up for their monthly plan and look forward to going every week! Already posted on my Instagram and told all my friend and family. Love & highly recommend!!!

Dr. Christinai is awesome. After bing in pain from March through Mid August, i can bend over ib the morning and my neck pain is hone. ThanksDr. Hall is very gentle and effective.
