Sadly I had a bad first experience here. I booked an appointment for gel manicure with design. I made it clear from the beginning that I was looking for someone who could handle doing a design which I showed a picture of before the appt started in hopes that this would help the salon match me with a capable mail tech. From the start I had concerns because all of the old nail polish from my old design was not fully removed prior to the new polish going on. I came in with long square natural nails and left with rounded nails completely cut down to the skin no length left on at all. Then as my girl started painting I realized just how bad this was would be because instead of admitting she was not skilled enough to do the design she started painting the different colors on the nail at the same time creating a huge mess that I had to ask multiple times for her to fix. At the end of the appointment when the final top coat was put on the nail tech got it all over my skin which any basic gel person knows this will cause lift and cracking on your polish because the only part that should be painted is the actual nail. It was a disaster from start to finish. I truly wish that the service would have been comped or at least the girl would have been honest and admitted she did not have the knowledge to pull off the look. I will attach photos of what I asked for and what I got. It looks insanely amateur.

Relaxing atmosphere, beautiful interior. Easy walk in sign up. They do get really busy though I was lucky I walked in at the right time. My daughter got a gel manicure and Lavender Pedicure, I got the Lavender Pedicure. It was amazing!!! 10 Stars to the 3 ladies that pampered us!🥰😍😍😍🥰🥰

The service was excellent. I loved the way that they treated me in that I wasnt just another customer. The pedicure was exceptionally done as well as my manicure. Also, there was no strong smell of acetone which made my visit even better. Everything that I wanted was done!

They are very good at their jobs! Also, the complimentary (though Id tip to be nice) cocktails and beer is a brilliant way to entertain the boyfriends and husbands of the lucky ladies you take.Its a nice relaxing nail salon with generous owners clearly.

Everyone was really nice, plus they give you a complimentary drink (champagne, beer, coffee, water). One of my friends had recommended this salon. I had a manicure with buffing (no nail polish). Will definitely try them again.

So excited to find such an excellent nail salon so close to home! After reading the great reviews, I had to check it out for myself. From making my appointment over the phone to entering the salon, everyone was very nice. I had to wait a few minutes despite having an appointment but I didnt mind. I was offered a beverage multiple times. Mimi did my gel manicure and it is exquisite! I opted for the cat eye to get something a little different and she made sure it was perfect. (She might even be more of a perfectionist than I am!) My husband and son stopped by to surprise me and were immediately offered beverages and a treat. Even though the manicure took a little longer than usual due to the uncooperative polish, Mimi still gave me an amazing massage. (And the prices are very reasonable.) I will definitely be back, with friends. Highly recommend!

Best nail place in town! I have been coming here for about 2 years now and it’s a great experience every time. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. A lot of regulars, including myself, that they always say give a big, warm welcome too. I usually get a gel manicure and a regular pedicure with an add on to remove my callus’. In comparison to other nail salons I have been to in San Diego, they do a GREAT job when removing my callus’ and on my nails in general. Excellent prices and good service! Thank you Halo Nail Salon!

I have been coming to this salon for about 3 years. All the ladies are friendly and efficient. The salon is very clean and they have a great hygiene practice which I appreciate.My manicurist is Mimi and she is great! I got the royal treatment from her yesterday on my birthday which will keep me coming back!

This place is great! Its always clean and a nice relaxing environment! All the staff are kind and helpful. I moved to the area about a year ago and Im usually leery about trying a new nail place. They do excellent pedicures, great massage!! I highly recommend coming in. Not to mention their hours are great and theyre open on Sundays. Very convenient and lots of options for your nails and feet and Skin Care!

I came here for the first time on a whim, I drive passed it all the time and Im so happy I finally came inside! It was pretty, clean, and the service was so awesome! I highly recommend you giving them a try!I got a fill with a nail fix and gel. I told my technician (Vivian :)) what I wanted and she did even better than I expected!

I tried to give this place a second chance and I paid $70 for wonky nails. The length isn’t the same on each finger and you can definitely see the paint job isn’t the greatest. Please teach your techs how to do nails correctly and not rush because they might get another appointment. Will be calling for partial refund since I don’t believe they can fix the nails correctly

Ive gotten a few pedicures here and Im always impressed! You cant beat the price for such a wonderful and relaxing experience. I recommend the European pedicure... the leg scrub and massage is heavenly!

I tried this place twice because I think you need to try something more then once to get a good idea of the service. The girls there are friendly but when doing my services, a pedicure and a full acrylic set, they didnt ask me what shape I wanted my nails or the length. I worked at a nail salon as a receptionist so I know what to look for in service and I know what to ask for, but if I didnt these girls would of just done whatever they wanted and charged me whatever. To top it off they didnt even do a good job, my acrylic was uneven and had huge gaps on the sides so they started to lift real soon. So I went back to fill them thinking the second time might be better and same thing, she didnt put enough powder on the nail so it liked like she didnt even fill them and tried to hide her mistake with the gel top coat. I only gave this place 2 stars because they were nice and had good prices but thats all they have.

The tech that took care of me first off looked like she didn’t want to do my nails .i came here because the place I went to before where they did an awesome job was closed . She kept throwing my hands back to me or just dropping them use your words instead of just pointing or shoving my hands away communication I’s the key . Secondly she got the acrylic everywhere as it seems she was rushing to get done and it got all under my nails and stuck to my skin and cut my skin. Finally during the paint job she rushed that even more so now my nails are all bubbled up . And on top of that pricey for a fill. Not an enjoyable experience overall I will not be coming back . Do not rush a service if you do not have time or do not want to do it . Thank you

I took my nieces with me to get there nails done. The staff was super friendly ans very gentle with them. The ladys made sure to let me know what the prices where going to be before they even started. They did an outstanding job i am very impressed and will be coming back

The staff here is very lovely and sweet! I came in with my two daughters to get a manicure and pedicure. My daughters love how their nails and toe came out and so did I! The nail lady werent so rough like some of the nail salons Ive been to in the past. Ill be coming back here again with my daughters!

Glad to have found this place. It’s clean, appointments are on time and I have not been double booked. They call to remind you of appointments. They aren’t pushy with add ons. They use the latest materials and technology. I don’t drink alcohol, but they offer drinks while you have your mani-pedi. It’s nice!

I come here every chance I get! I love when Kat does my pedi! She gives amazing massages!! And the designs she does are super cute! Mimi has been doing my gel mani the last couple times and I couldnt be happier!! This is a great place with amazing customer service and worth every penny! I dont go anywhere else.
