And with the current Covid crisis they are employing new equipment and protocols to protect patients and staff.

I am a patient of 20-plus years and have always had good experiences with Dr. Kitts and his hygienists. Occasionally, I get surprised by the actual costs of the services I received...not cheap. Fortunately, I have fairly good dental coverage.

The staff is extremely well trained. It’s never fun to go to the dentist. But I must say, I’ve got positive satisfaction from the visit. I had a chance to review my gum health comparing measurements from 3 months ago. Tracking progress in my self care and using the feedback to do a better job. If you’re expecting your teeth and gums to take care of themselves you’ve got another thing coming. It’s a team effort. And they’re on your team. I hope that doesn’t sound silly. They make an effort to help you be more effective. I respect that and consider it important. It’s not just “happy” people, it’s competent people making a difference in your longterm dental care.

The quality of the care and results are exceptional. But the genuine efforts by each person on the team to ensure I’m comfortable and relaxed makes each visit actually pleasant, even for extended work. Dimming the lights and the fuzzy heavy blanket make even long appointments not a big deal at all. I trust this team.

Dr. Kitts is a wonderful dentist. He is quick, thorough and I felt like he took the time to examine my teeth. However, I have to say, the overall impression of the office staff is negative. My insurance was causing some issues which resulted in the front desk lady talking to me in a very rude manner and made me feel like a huge inconvenience. I will say, I was impressed by Dr. Kitts personally calling me after this experience to check in with me.

Dr. kitts is wonderful....been going to him for many years. If you are looking for a dentist that you’ll fully trust, he’s the one. He is super knowledgeable and does great work. I switched over to Soundview at the beginning of this year so I could see a local dentist. I wish I had switched over years ago! The staff here has been extremely friendly and communicative with me from the first time I called the office. They always greet me with a smile when I come in for appointments and make me feel comfortable every time Im there.Today I had a filling replaced and never felt any pain, even when Dr. Kitts injected me with the numbing agent. A little discomfort during the procedure certainly, they do have your mouth propped open, but no pain, not even the little stick from the needle. Super gentle hands and technique there!I highly recommend Soundview Family Dental if you are looking for a great dental team!

Erin is by far the best hygienist I have ever seen. She is always so gentle and thorough. She makes me feel at ease and answers all my questions without seeming rushed. Not only is Erin a amazing co-worker but she is truly a gifted hygienist. I cant say enough nice things about Erin or the care she provides!

This was my first experience having anything other than a cleaning done as an adult on my own insurance. I was extremely nervous and both Dr. Kitts and Shannon took time to answer all of my questions and informed me step by step through the process.They gave me a blanket, let me listen to my music during the procedure, and even had chapstick for me prior to the procedure so my lips didn’t get all dry and nasty from the tugging and the suction. Afterwards I was handed a warm lavender scented towel. They thought of everything and I felt so confident with the work that was done when I left!

Best Dentist ever! Had a major toothache and thought it might be a broken crown - not so! Found an exposed gum line etc. I got this appointment via voice message and got a follow-up appt the next morning! Ive been patient for 15 years - never had a bad experience. Highly recommend Dr. Kitts!!!

My daughters and I have very happily been patients at Soundview Family Dental for many, many years. Dr. Kitts is an outstanding and very personable dentist. He takes plenty of time with each patient, showing a sincere interest in each persons teeth and general well-being. Im always impressed with this thoroughness. A couple of my girls were nervous about dental procedures when they were younger, but Dr. Kitts and his staff were all very patient with them. Speaking of his staff, they are all extremely warm and friendly people. There are definitely no grumps working here. Parking is quite convenient. Downtown Edmonds can be a busy place, but there are reserved spaces in the lot across the street. Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful office- so relaxing I almost fell asleep getting my teeth cleaned. Brett was so fun and professional and I always enjoy seeing Dr Kitts.

My girlfriend called them last minute in the early morning hours to help me deal with a medical emergency. I wasnt even a current patient and I was in need of immediate dental care to remove an infected and broken molar that was causing me tremendous pain and discomfort.My intake process was insanely quick, I was seen right away, the staff were amazingly welcoming and made me feel comfortable while I was obviously in a shaken up state.Ive always had reservations about going to the dentist and I always put it off. But if more offices were like SoundView, my dental care would easily become more of a priority. Ill definitely be going back for additional work. I was well taken care of and I appreciated everyones patience and care throughout my visit.

My husband and I have been customers of dr Kitts for almost 10years. For being their customer for so long i can compare the service of the clinic team when i started and for last couple years. It did go worse. I am very disappointed. My last visit in June was horrible. I came for regular cleaning and get to their new hygienist asian girl. While doing my cleaning she wasn’t careful and took my crown off. I spend extra 2hours in clinic so they have to put it back and instead of paying 10$copay for cleaning deductible finish with around 160$ out of my pocket. Instead of giving apologies for the all pain and inconvenience, i was treated that i am very lucky for being in their office. When i called to cancel all of the following appointments they show me that there is no value to you as a customer. I am very disappointed and want to share this so people will be aware when choosing their dental clinic.
