How wonderful to have a care team, health services team, and activity team with longevity in this building taking care of the residents! The activities have the residents always on the go! I love seeing the residents enjoying live music, participating in the Garden Club or coming off the van from a fun outing to The Snohomish Ice Cream factory. Amazing Staff!

Sunrise of Lynnwood has been exceptional in the care of my mother. She is a resident in the Memory Care area of Sunrise. The staff is very professional, kind and creative in their approach to residents with Alzheimers. During the pandemic, the protocols were very rigorous, which kept everyone safe. Im so glad my mother lives at Sunrise of Lynnwood.

My father has been here one year and he is so happy. Everyone gives him lots of positive attention and the staff is very competent and communicate well with the families (especially necessary during this COVID time).

I have seen how tirelessly the team works behind the scenes to make sure the residents are well cared for. They do their best to accommodate the unique needs of each resident. Especially in these difficult times where the public is dealing with Covid. They are taking every precaution to keep up to date with CDC regulations without letting it infringe on the quality of care they provide for the residents.I am always impressed with how Sunrise of Lynnwood tries to improve everyday. They listen to all the feedback they receive and always try to use it to improve.

Our Dad lived at Sunrise of Lynnwood for close to 3 years and loved living here. He started in an independent living room and as his health declined was moved to a more one on one unit. He along with my siblings loved the staff at Lynnwood; they were always caring, helpful and supportive throughout all the issues of his aging. The front desk staff were always friendly and welcoming! The nursing staff always kept us informed of what was happening with Dad and my Dad loved all the activities and rides in the bus off campus! I thank all the Sunrise staff for their help throughout his stay and would recommend any aging parent to make their home there when they need some extra help.

The nurses are excellent with keeping me in the loop if any changes are needed. The place is clean and the food smells yum! I am thankful that my parents are in a trusted and caring facility and that they are enjoying themselves.

Everyone at Sunrise of Lynnwood has been exceptional, in making sure my Mom has all her needs taken care of and feels a welcome part of the Sunrise Community. The staff encourages and assists their residents and in my option, they are never intrusive.Any questions Ive had or requests I have made for help with things regarding my Mom has been met with friendly and quick responses and all requests have been taken care of in a timely fashion. The safety of their residents is of the utmost concern with the staff and I am happy to know that my Mom is in a community where neither she nor I have to worry about the things we did when she was living on her own.I recommend Sunrise of Lynnwood highly and am so glad my Mom is part of this caring and friendly community.

My father was at Sunrise of Lynnwood (in Assisted Living) for about 1.5 years. Every employee that we encountered during that time was friendly, upbeat, and willing to try and make us happy as a family unit. I know that they appreciated my involvement as his advocate just as much as I appreciated their communications with me. Their compassion for what my dad was experiencing during the transition to living assisted and the subtle decline of his quality of life due to his extensive list of health complications was beyond comforting. When the director is sitting with you and tearing up with you during hard conversations about your fathers future... well you know you are with a great guy! As it became apparent that he would be going onto Hospice care, my father and I both wanted him to be able to finish things out at Sunrise not only so that he would be around people and things that he was familiar with but also so that I would be getting the support from staff that genuinely cared about me and my well being too. The fact of the matter is this, no one ever really WANTS to move into assisted living, but having good people around you helps shoulder the burden a little and helps you find special things about where you are.

My Dad was at Aegis prior to it becoming Sunrise. The care at Sunrise does not compare to the wonderful care he received when they were Aegis.Bathing, brushing teeth, shaving, clean clothes were definitely not a priority with the Sunrise group. Now I know you cant force a person to take a shower, but a memory care patient, can be led into wanting a shower. It is all about approach. At one point he went a month without a shower. a week or two was not unusual. It appeared that his clothes were not washed on a regular basis. They blamed that on him, because like many dementia patients he hides his things and does not remember where he put them. It appears that they just do not care. This did not happen when it was Aegis. The ladies who work the front desk are wonderful, caring and kind. The aides that worked the floor were wonderful caring and kind also. Either they did not have enough staff to take proper care of the residents, or it was just not a priority with the lead staff for the floor my dad was on.He was not the only one who did not get showered. It was not unusual to see many of the residents with greasy hair, and stinky. That is not fair to these wonderful people, who no longer remember they need to bath and groom themselves. Good money is paid to Sunrise, the care should be done, and enough staff should be on hand to do it.I want to say thank you to John the Med Tech, Blessing, Ja and Footu (spelling Sorry). You were all so kind to my dad.
