Moved here to Edmond from out of state and found Hackney when I was beginning my last trimester. They helped my body get in the best shape for a home delivery. They educated me on how to help my body and were there once I had my baby guiding me again. Thankful for the understanding of the body!All of my kids go there regularly and they always LOVE Kids Week. All the staff works so hard to make these days fun and exciting for them. At 32 weeks pregnant I found out my baby was in a breech position. I chose to seek care at Hackney Chiropractic because the doctors are specifically trained in the Webster technique. I was very impressed with the office from my very first interaction with Shelly. She is so friendly and welcoming and helped me easily schedule my initial appointment. The Hackneys have been such a blessing to our family. At first, we thought we were just getting great chiropractic care for ourselves and our two little guys. That was enough! My 3 year old loves to throw his body around and benefits greatly from Super Kids Day once a month without breaking our bank. When my newborn came, he had his first adjustment within two weeks to help his mild torticolis. Originally referred by my massage therapist while pregnant with my first child because of sciatic pain. 4.5 years later I come for regular tune ups. I was referred to Hackney Chiropractic by my lactation consultant after a number of issues feeding my little one. He would arch back, refuse to try and latch (even bottle feeding was a challenge sometimes), everything with him just seemed like it was a fight/struggle and we were open to anything to try and help! Dr. Josiah not only helped by adjusting my son and alleviating the trauma from his birth, she genuinely checked on us as parents and how we were doing. Those first weeks were so hard and her chiropractic care as well as support/compassion for us as new parents has made all the difference. The environment of this clinic is amazing! The first appointment was approximately 30-40 minutes long since it included an exam, but my second visit was only 10-15 minutes for the adjustment alone. If I could give Hackney Chiropractic more then 5 stars I would. I started to go just after the birth of my first, son. They were able to explain his discomfort and adjusted his 3 week old body. When she put him back into my arms it was as if he could finally relax for the first time. My mommy heart was so happy, it felt like a gift. 15m later I was in their office for pregnancy adjustments. They were able to explain to me how my body was functioning with all the pregnancy hormones and I honestly felt so much better. First and second pregnancy were so much different. We had an appt cor my daughter 5 days after birth. Now my family of 5 all attend for regular adjustments. Even my husband. 🙂Additionally I have laughed, cried, and been able to be whatever state of mind post pardium. I am a proud patient of Dr. Josiah Hackney. I was introduced to her practice through a recommendation from my OB to treat my sciatica pain during pregnancy. I was skeptical because Id never seen a chiropractor & my knowledge was based on misconception of what happened during an adjustment - I thought Id be yanked & stretched around which is NOT the case. Dr. Josiah uses an awesome tool for adjustments after a thorough assessment and literally after the first adjustment I felt relief! I am continuing with adjustments postpartum to help get everything back into place after giving birth and I had no idea the pain I was tolerating until after my first postpartum adjustment. Its amazing! My 5 month old son is getting adjustments now because I noticed his neck/shoulder popping which isnt natural, especially for such a little nugget. He loves Dr. Josiah (me too!) who oozes positivity & grace. During his adjustment you can actually see his body release tension (from birth) and he is latching longer during breastfeeding. So grateful to be part of the Hackney Chiropractic family!

Amazing! The office is so nice, peaceful, and smells wonderful! Receptionist is so helpful, sweet and funny (Dr. Daniels mom). It was my first time at a chiropractor and I was a bit scared about the whole popping the back, but they do not do that here. They used an instrument that corrects you. I have had back problems in the past and i had a certain spot on my lower back that with slightest touch was so painful. Its gone!! Also, standing or sitting on the floor for a minute would hurt as well, now I can go a long time without the pain. Dr. Daniel was super nice and explained everything he was doing to help us understand. Since my visit my husband has now gone, and now we even have my mother, father and sister in law going. I would definitely recommend coming here (obviously).

Let me start by saying that I have been to more than my share of chiropractors. I have been to practitioners that do the same routine on EVERYONE despite their age or condition, I have been to ones that caused more tears than relief (I even had one that popped my rib out of place every visit), and I have also been to the money hungry clinics that never fix anything but seem to require that you repeat your bad experience once a week for the rest of your life. WELL, I visited Hackney Chiropractic today and I can not say enough amazing things about my visit. The Hackneys not only were among the kindest people I have ever met, but they did a full THROUGH exam on me with full explanations of not only their methods but why I was feeling the conditions I was experiencing. I just left their office an hour ago, and I have not felt so great in the history of my chiropractic care. I guess you can say I didnt know how bad I was really feeling the past years until under their care I was allowed to feel well. I will be sending everyone I know here! The icing on the cake? Their prices! I have never been charged so fairly much-less for a company that pays so much attention to detail and truly cares for their patients. A+++++

I started seeing Dr. Josiah and Dr. Daniel during my second pregnancy. I had a C-Section with my son and I was determined to do everything in my power to have a successful VBAC with my daughter. I did not receive chiropractic care with my first pregnancy and boy do I wish I had! I can tell that it made a difference and adjustments always helped me feel better. I am happy to say that I had a successful and happy VBAC and I feel that getting adjustments contributed to that! I continue to receive care postpartum, as is my daughter.
