I was in a car accident over 3 years ago that caused major back pain. I tried PT and injections with very little relief. I was referred to Dr. Branko to discuss surgery. I was very skittish at idea of it. But I am so glad I saw Dr. Branko. I had a double level fusion on my lower back and I feel like a new person. Dr. Branko not only fixed my back but he made sure I was 1000 percent comfortable with the surgery before I had it.

Dr. Branko performed C3-C4 disc fusion on me about 3 years ago... can you even see the scar? He absolutely fixed me! At the time, I couldnt button my shirts, sign my name on paper with a pen, and I even started walking with a limp.... I had numbness in my legs and hands, and he diagnosed me in seconds. He and his team performed the surgery, and every step of the way made me feel comfortable. I had zero pain and was out of the hospital (without a neck brace) in a few hours. Thanks again Dr. Branko!

For over a year I was having terrible neck, shoulder and arm pain due to a car accident. I had gone to the chiropractor for months and then eventually saw a pain management doctor. I had a half dozen epidural injections, facet blocks etc over the course of a few months. Still had zero relief. I then saw Dr. Branko. He read over my reports, looked at the MRI’s and told me exactly what was wrong and why the other procedures weren’t helping. We set up a cervical fusion surgery date a few weeks later. He performed a 3 level fusion from my c4-c7. He removed and replaced the 3 discs and then placed a metal plate over those levels removed. When I woke up from surgery I already felt better even though I just awoke from a long, difficult surgery. Now 5 weeks after surgery I’m feeling about 95% better and I have little to no pain in my neck, shoulder and going down my arm. I cannot thank Dr. Branko enough for literally taking my pain away.

On 7/14 of this year, Dr. Branko performed an L5/S1 microdiscectomy and laminectomy. I had been dealing with on and off pain since suffering an injury in October 2019 which became significantly more debilitating in June of this year. I went to the sports medicine facility in Aberdeen that Dr. Branko operates out of (which has also been fantastic - Northeast Spine & Sports Medicine). Upon meeting me and after speaking with Dr. Jeff (my chiropractor), he immediately had me schedule an MRI (something past doctors did not do) and he laid out what my potential paths forward would be based upon the results. When the results came in, he took the time to sit with me and explain in detail what my situation was and how he would treat it. He also gave his opinion on what he thought the outcome might be. he was very attentive and knowledgeable, but as anyone else reluctant to go through surgery, I sought a 2nd opinion from an orthopedic surgeon that was recommended to me. That person gave the same diagnosis and recommendation, but was far more pessimistic on positive results. Even though this orthopedic surgeon was a direct recommendation and Dr. Branko was not, I decided to go with Dr. Branko and he DID NOT disappoint. Everything he laid out to me on the consultation after reading my MRI came about exactly as he explained. Here I am, almost 6 weeks post surgery, and I feel great. His bedside manner was fantastic and his follow up protocol made me feel like he really cared. He explains everything in laymans terms so that you really understand the issues at hand and the plan ahead. He gave me my mobility back, and I cannot be happier that I decided to go with him.
