Had a terrible experience with Dr.Lombardi. Nice guy but TERRIBLE back surgeon! If you are in pain and need back surgery DO NOT get your back Surgery from Dr. Lombardi!! This will be a mistake for a lifetime! Pain for years with no help from Dr.Lombardi!!! No Help! At this time I am 30 years old post opt 3 surgeries. Dr.Lombardi did my first back surgery Jan 2007 at 16 years old, this was a FAILED back surgery! After surgery he told me to seek other Dr opinions along with post opt MRI due to no pain relief post opt.MRI relieved continued spinal stenosis along with herniations? How is that possible post opt? After his failed surgery after months/years of pain management and consultations with many Drs i finally found Dr.Andrew Hecht Head of Spinal Surgery at Mount Sinai in NY to review my case. After review surgery of MRIs he asked for a copy of the post opt write up fron Dr.Lombardi. i wasnt even aware Drs wrote them post opt surgery. Upon review there were many words blacked out or whited out along with many discoveries about the surgery Dr.Lombardi was not so honest about! So sad to put a 16 year old at the time through such a tough time. This was a sports injury from soccer. He ended up washing his hands with us after 3 months post opt surgery with no help. In the end he got paid for a failed back surgery!!! But overall the worst was putting a kid in sever pain through lies dishonesty and emotional pain. It was so sever I become Permanently disabled due to his mess up in surgery!! 2012 Dr.Hecht changed my life. I write this to the parents moms/dads as I am now 30 years old to never consider any medical advice or surgery from Dr.Lombardi! Time to retire, have a cup of coffee pal because you made enough money off people like me leaving them in pain!

Dr. Joseph Lombardi is an excellent spine surgeon. Hes also a very kind and caring doctor. I had back surgery with him and one hip done by an associate. Recently I saw Dr. Robert Lombardi for tendinitis in my elbow. He was also excellent and had a nice manner.

I went to EMOG for almost 2 years now to treat for my neck, back, and shoulder. They have some of the GREATEST DOCTORS THERE. tHE STAFF IS ALSO MOST HELPFUL and courteous. Even though I am impatient I dont mind the wait because the doctors like to take care of and explain things to their clients.Dr. Joseph Lombardi did my BACK SURGERY and I am having an amazing recovery for the most part. i was scared with the stigma that back surgery comes with however I am thankful i was in such careful and capable hands.Dr Mathew Garfinkel did a remarkable job with my shoulder.I really needed their expertise for both body parts.
