Dr Sarma is very nice Doctor, but her employees are the worse. I already spoke to her about their sloppy receptionists but seems that nothing has been changed. Unfortunately the office is dirty and the “MA’s” don’t take their job seriously.My kid will never return there. 4 stars for the De and - 1 for the front desk.

My daughter has been going there since she was 2 months old . The Dr is really nice and always answers any questions I have . But the same cant be said for her staff at both locations they DO NOT answer the phone I could call about 5/6 times and no one ever picks up . I feel like they should take their job more serious because these are the lives of children . Ive gone for an appointment and the phone could be ringing and it never get answered . I dont get it . 😒 Awesome doctors ! Maybe you guys should get a better staff . ☺️ Ones that actually CARE .

I have been going to Dr. Sarmas since 2017 and she and her fellow providers are great. They care. The same can not be said about her staff. I am going on two months now without my daughters supplies and having to go to the office for samples. Which they should since they dropped the ball. The supply company was great at contacting me and i always could get a hold of them. According to the doctors office they never received their messages and could never get through to the supply company. I was like so how come i can? Theyre office is super hard to get a hold of so I know by experience that the supply company wasnt lying. My pharmacy has the same issues with them. This has nothing to do with the doctor but everything to do with her medical and office staff. Then they decided to change my daughters supply company without asking me. Now I am waiting for that company to get auth withy insurance. Mind you I havent been able to get a call back from them, i am always calling and now they have a new phone system which is making it even more difficult. If you can find another pediatric Endo in this area i would say go with them. We dont have many options unfortunately. I will be looking for another Dr unfortunately, cause this office is unprofessional and super incompetent.

I love Dr. Sarma and he Physicians Assistant Ms. Ciseneros. My child has been going to Genesis Endocrinology since he was 4 years old. They are always on top of his labs and spend as much time to answer my questions on his lab results. He drinks vitamin D drops and I can call and they will be called into his pharmacy within a couple of hours!!

I would no recommend. There is a phone number for the facility but NOBODY ANSWERS. You get looped around an automated service. The staff knows this and still asked me to call their office to make sure my child’s results were sent to them before my follow up.

Dr. Sarma is an amazing Doctor but the same can not be said about her staff. They are incompetent and don’t submit refills on time. The medical group I get my sons supplies has said their office never submits request and can never get a reply on time.

Dr. Sarma and her P.A. are amazing, very kind and attentive; the same can not be said of the office staff.On numerous occasions I have called to request a refill, even if we had just been there a few days before to be the doctor. You will almost get no call back or a refill called to your pharmacy unless you physically go to the office and request a refill there. The office staff appear unkempt, too busy talking to each other and often times on their phones. I am stuck with this practitioner because there is no other pedi endocrinologist in my area.

All the comments about them never answering their phones, it’s probably not them. This doctors office used to have my husbands phone number, I’m assuming, because he receives several calls everyday for this dr’s office, which he has set up on a google account, where all the voicemails are left because if not his phone would be blowing up everyday. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT PHONE NUMBER BEFORE YOU CALL. Or else, your calling my husbands phone and he’s not going to answer, obviously.

**Update**Front staff is still not ideal and definitely needs work but at the very least they have someone who actually knows what they are doing when taking blood. Got my sons vein on the first try and he was very professional from his manner of speaking to the way he looked. I think the female who was there before was fired. So between the new phlebotomist and being able to see the Dr. Instead of the PA (We had some issues with her and neglecting to give accurate information and neccessary details) have made me feel more comfortable with the office. The wait time was very little this time around as well. Overall a change is being made and it is for the better.

It is unfortunate that Dr.Sarma cant find professional office staff. The amount if wait times to try to get prescriptions authorized and recertified is ridiculously long. If I could give negative stars I would.

If I could give negative stars I would. Worst staff ever. They stuck us in a room and never came back for about three hours. When they did come back they told us that they couldnt get the blood work and would have to come back. Always waited for over three hours and they never answered the phone. Go anywhere else.

I have no issue with Dr Sarma other than the fact that she needs to take action against her staff.. I have never been so disappointed.. Its as if her staff dont even care about the fact that the people that go are diabetic.. We have been waiting for my sons diabetic supplies and every time I call 50fifty they tell me that they are still waiting on the doctors office to send the PA.. nearly a month... When we call to the office they give us the run around.. to they not understand that these children depend on these things to live...? Who can we call and complain to??? Isnt this considered Malpractice???

Although Dr. Sharma is very patient and thorough, it doesnt transcend through to her office which evidently doesnt share the same work ethic. Appointments are grossly over booked, staff is rude and condescending and wait time on two occasions has been 2-3 Hours! Office Management needs to address this immediately.

Why is this the only dr for diabetes for kids here in brownsville, the PA is awesome but some of the workers are horrible even the ao called manager ana garcia i think i argue qith them constantly about my daughters medication n its always a run around blaming the oharmacy so i switch pharmacy and they make me laugh cause its not even the pharmacy its the workers. What are they getting bpaid for if were not getting the job done. Im going in person. These employees make life a living hell!!! They need to be fired or take their job serious! Kids need their medication idk what their problem is.

So frustrated with the office staff. Dr. Sarma is a good endocrinologist every time I have a question I email her and she responds in a timely manner. Her office staff is the problem. My son is on the insulin pump, it has been over 3 weeks that they received an order from the pharmacy requesting a prescription to reorder pods for his pump. I call neighborhood pharmacy every other day checking to see if the Dr. Sarmas office staff already faxed it in and they havent. Im spending over $300 on pods when his insurance covers it. Very unprofessional, incompetent office staff and waiting time is horrible. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOCTOR..

I cant even imagine rating them with even one star. Worst medical service my daughter or I have ever received. Very unprofessional and rude staff. Never answered or returned my phone calls. They dont know how to treat their patients. I wish i could had payed attention to the bad reviews before wasting my time there.

Very unprofessional staff! Waited 2 weeks for them to fill out a form from school. Which they had lost and were stating we had never gone to leave the form. Called several times and all calls were send to answering service. On the days of the appointment all the staff from the front office look so lost! Dam pick up the damn calls people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With ridiculous wait times, unprofessional staff and this establishments greed, they are not deserving of even one star.

Horrible service, I would recommand it to no one. Our appointment was changed for no reason without any communication, along with poor communication along staff. Long waiting hours, over all terrible. I would have given it 0 stars, but you obviously cant with Google.

The Dr. and her assistant are very kind and very committed but all the other staff, terrible service, do not take the importance that patients have, hopefully and do something about it ... because one attends there x need not for pleasure and I think that they they have a salary they should put more interest in their work or give the opportunity to people who really want to work

Dr. is good at what she does but hasa very bad staff. They dont answer calls, they dont return them, they dont make appointments on time. Besides, they leave you waiting for more than 1 hour just to tell you that they dont have your medicine and that they know emptying it will come, my daughters medicine cannot pass the treatment every day is important but they do not take it into account and only blame themselves among them put staff ..

I have been trying for more than a year and a half to get a treatment, which requires a longer process with them has been worse. They did not schedule an appointment for an MRI, I lost more than a month. Then they did not send the results to the Neurologist, it took us more than 3 months. My son was denied the insurance treatment, they sent the documentation on time, I lost more than 3 months, when I spoke to see what the problem was, they did not know how to explain. That they were left without the person in charge of making that documentation. I asked them to keep me informed, they never returned my calls. Finally they were going to make the appeal and I asked them to let me know. They never called back. The staff is very incompetent.
