I have visited Edina Family Physicians since I have moved to Edina. I have always had a great experience. Friendly and very helpful staff.My experience with my provider Dr. Meade has been fantastic. He is a knowledgeable and caring doctor who dedicates great deal of time reviewing the records, checking up and explaining everything in details and in a simple way. I also appreciate his responsiveness when I reach out via email if I have any questions. Thank you Edina Family Physicians and Dr. Meade.

Back after a couple years away while being out of network, and everything continues to be great about coming here to see Dr Beecher.A few years back they had a systems conversion fiasco that created some headaches, but otherwise it’s always been a good place to have for primary care.Dr Beecher is knowledgeable and thoughtful while being both a good listener and teacher - hard to beat!

Today, I unfortunately had one of my worst experiences with a health care provider. I made an appointment with Dr. Meade regarding severe Migraines that I have started to get after recently having COVID. These have left me in extreme pain and have prevented me from returning to work. At an appointment today, I was told by Dr. Meade to take 600mg of ibuprofen. After explaining to him that I had been taking ibuprofen and Tylenol for weeks and it hadn’t been doing anything, he just told me then there was nothing he could or would do. After weeks of migraines I came in hoping for some relief. I have never been treated so insensitively in my life. Going forward, I will always request a female provider.

Oh, so un-helpful.If a prescription needs updating (season allergy) you have to set up a virtual call and thats about $200 for 3 minutes.If you want a record of immunization for school you need to log into Mychart (once you figure out how to do that) to put in a request that they upload the records back to mychart) if you call thats the only option unless you want to drive over and ask them for a paper copy.We have good insurance but its not worth going in - ER is a more cost efficient option and that is crazy.

My husband and I both started seeing Dr. Meade as our primary care physician in 2014. We moved out of state in 2015, but my husband still travels to Minnesota for routine care because Dr. Meade is the BEST doctor we have ever had! He is compassionate, kind, knowledgable, and funny. He listens to your concerns and is willing to work with you on medications, treatments, etc to ensure you are properly taken care of. I highly recommend Dr. Meade and the rest of the staff at Edina Family Physicians.

Doctor Peterson is AMAZING. He respects that I have decided to try going natural rather than take literally dozens of medications to control my neurological disorder. He is supportive of my choice to use plants to heal. He is funny. And he is excellent with my children.Scheduling is super easy here and the front desk folks are super sweet.I will say the nurses need an attitude adjustment. Every one of them Ive come into contact with have been really rude. Except Elijah, but I think he is more xray than nurse, he is a sweetheart.Just retrain the nurses to be caring and youll be a 5 star facility!

I have had Dr. Stephen Meade as my personal physician for over 25 years. Dr. Meade and his nurses are very professional and knowledgeable compassionate when ever I need to call for information or during my appointments. Communication is top notch.I now live in Stewartville, MN which is approximately a 2 hr drive. I continue to keep Dr Meade for my Primary Physician.In my opinion he’s too good of a physician for my to change as I’m sure their are some excellent Physicians in Rochester, MN.If your looking for a Physician, I would highly recommend any Dr at Edina Family Physicians.

Has gone downhill since Dr. Johnson left. Temps are useless and hurdles trying to get prescriptions filled. I’m moving to another clinic.

I got a positive test result and was not informed via mail about it. I found out about the test when I saw my doctor again and signed up for my chart. Now I have to setup another appointment to see how we are going to treat my medical problem confirmed by my test. Totally unacceptable.

Just had my annual physical with Dr Anthony Smith and I just want to say Well Done! From the moment my nurse Courtney directed me back to my room until we exchanged have a nice rest of your day; this gal is the real thing! Very compassionate, caring and a good listener. I have always gotten the utmost respect and care at this clinic. Keep up the great work team-because it takes ALL of you to make a difference!

This practice used to be good before it joined Allina. Have been seeing Dr Burns since 2004. Business practices/processes have changed towards making money instead of patient care.Giving up a doctor I like (Burns) to go somewhere else that doesnt operate this way. Really disappointed.

Dr.Beecher is the best doctor Ive ever had. If you know what already works for you, he will actually take you at your word. A seemingly rare quality amongst doctors. There is no proving grounds. The degree of care he provides is outstanding compared to many other offices in the cities. Well worth it.

Very good attention to our whole familys health care. We feel very well taken care of here.

You will wait forever to see a physician. By the time someone comes in, they will have no idea why you are there until they sit at the computer without making eye contact with you and then address you. Extremely poor patient centered care. Order unnecessary tests. Always seem to be in a hurry, like you are in an assembly line. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where providers actually value the patients.

My wife and I lived in the area for about 2 1/2 years. The staff was friendly and professional. They went out of there way to meet our needs no matter what the situation was.

I am pretty disappointed to be writing this review with only two stars. My actual physician, Dr. Sheldon Burns, is AMAZING. Hes the best doctor Ive ever had. The clinic and nursing staff, however, are awful. The receptionists are rude, unprofessional, and very clearly hate their jobs. Not only are they rude when one is checking in for an appointment, if one has any questions for them, youll literally feel like you are a huge inconvenience - as though youve interrupted them from something MUCH more important than you.Additionally, speaking to receptionists and nurses on the phone is incredibly aggravating and deflating. One usually contacts and goes to the doctor when they are sick or have an injury or illness - so you already dont feel great. But attempting to schedule an appointment or speak to a nurse is a time consuming and frustrating addition to the symptoms and discomfort typically associated with illness or injury.The wait time in the clinic is also absolutely, absurdly long. Ive had appointments scheduled for specific times, and have frequently waited over and hour - and occasionally over two or three hours to see my physician. With no updates, no explanations, and no heads up that Id be waiting for an extremely long time. And once they bring you back to the room, the wait can be an addition thirty minutes or longer.Like I said, my physician is awesome - and the nurses that do the lab work are pretty great, too. But, dealing with the clinic and nursing staff has become more than Im able to deal with; so, Im on the hunt for a new general practitioner at a clinic that doesnt have horrible staff.

The Doctors here are amazing, especially Dr. Meade. The cost of the services is the only reason why it is 4 stars. Very expensive. But for top quality health care, I guess Ill pay it.

Dr. Dan Peterson is the best doctor Ive ever had. He really listens to you. He is very good at diagnosing my many physical injuries. Ive had many doctors in my long life but Dr. Dan is by far the BEST.

Bad practice. Same experience as Tom & other reviewers.Expensive: Dont go to Linda Johnson. I went in for an annual physical, thinking it should be zero cost. She chargee me extra $40 for just a saying Hows your asthma going (reading off my previous clinics record)? An additional $50 lab work here costs only $15 at other clinics!Rude: For other visits, She was continuously rude & arrogant, only spent less than 5 min with me every visit. Talk like a dictator.No care: Last visit, my UTI escalated to great pain right after I saw her. She didnt respond my call timely. I had to call them multiple times. And it took hours to finally get the prescription pain killer from her. I called the office to complain, they told me a few hours wasnt a delay.

A good traditional Dr. office! I started seeing Dr. Beecher in the 80’s, now my grand kids are patients of his as well.

Went in for a yearly well-check physical. Lets do the standard blood and urine work that we do for all well checks Doc says - get a bill for $132. Doctor says I see you have a sore on your lip, let me write you an Rx, get billed for $98 since it is no longer a well-check.While I like my Doctor, their prices are unreasonable.

My family has been going to Edina Family since the early 90s, Dr. Beecher, in particular, and we couldnt be more satisfied. Have we had to wait, occasionally? Yep, but occasionally things happen and thats life. The staff at Dr. Beechers is always polite, friendly and professional with me, maybe because Im the same with them and not demanding and entitled. I plan on going there for the next 20 to 25 years or until dont need a physician ever again

Ive had a LOT of experience with doctors and appointments, and it saddens me deeply to be writing a bad review. But this is the worst physicians office Ive ever been to. They must not keep great track of patients because I have been there more than 2 times, have had plenty of physicals there, and they persume to not have any knowledge of this. Because of this I couldnt get in because they arent taking new patients apparently. The worst with my experience was the receptionist lady. RUDEST lady I have ever spoken on the phone with. She should be fired from her job or come up with a new profession where she doesnt have to interact with people. Defiantly not going to this clinic again. FOR EVERYONE READING THIS: I recommend going to the Delano clinic. They are so fantastic.

Absolutely the worst doctors office. Several times while in waiting room I’ve had to witness patients screaming at the front desk staff for either being so intolerably rude or for insane charges on their account. On top of it all to have medical concerns be completely disregarded by the doctor. Go elsewhere

I deal with caring for an elderly mother from a long distance and Edina Family Physicians, where my mother has been a patient for many years, has been extremely helpful in working with me by phone and accommodating our needs to provide excellent care for my mother.

Dr Smith is great . He asks a lot of questions .

Good Drs, too bad theyre so expensive... I went in, had a 15 minute talk for a prescription, and they charged me $265.... No labs, just a talk... No wonder premiums are skyrocketing.... Places like this are causing it!
