Playground area is always clean and very clean around building safe for children to play

Basketball program is awesome for younger children Coach Perry & his team work hard to teach your children the basics & start them on their journey. Disappointment will hit they are around the 9-10 age, practice is nonexistent. Canceled on a regular basis at the last possible minute. Shout out to a couple of our favorite through the years Kenny, Mike, Marcel, Perry. Amazing guys!!! Complaint I have for this year: if you smoke weed, DONT do it outside the rec center or schools. Why do I need to explain the smell to my child? You reek!!

Never been inside this place. But the playground thats right beside is AWESOME. My kids love to go here. Has everything minus a bathroom. So be sure to go before heading here.

The Edgewood Recreation Center is a very nice place with a very friendly staff. The building is huge and has a fitness room along with a full size gymnasium. The staff is very helpful. They partner with the Edgewood Senior Center and the senior center also has classes there. I would recommend going there to check it out. This is only my third time being there so I am not familiar with a lot of their programs. I instruct a class there so the only thing that I have used is the gym.

This is a FANTASTIC resource for the community. Literally a few bucks to enroll 2 kids in the after school program (middle schoolers can sign themselves in and out without an adult). And theres a fitness center which is extremely practical in terms of cost. Various programs and sports offered, so you must stop by in person to find out what the details are.

They are open with restrictions but you can use the fitness room by appointment and you have the room to yourself for an hour, no one else in there with you. You can make appts for a week ahead, and masks required entering and leaving the bldg.

Edgewood Recreation is a resource for the Edgewood, Maryland community, whether a mom giving little ones time on the playground equipment to burn off energy before dinner, or gardeners to tend their vegetables, or home schoolers a place to access computers and a classroom, or shoot hoops, lift weights. Join an exercise class, run a treadmill, play baseball, fly drones, walk around Lake Serene, ride bikes.

They are great!They have drop in volleyball that is fun. Great people!
