No point in making an appointment because every single visit you will wait at least an hour to be seen. I understand moderate wait times but an hour every time is ridiculous and disrespectful to clients. Waste of time.

I agree with all of the reviews below regarding poor, rude, and unprofessional customer service as well as the quality. Having an emergency and having questions that needed to be answered by doctors who have the medical knowledge should be something that is normal, however not at this office. After leaving numerous voicemails and calling various times to be specific all morning since 8am - I finally got to speak to a Dr. Tabares (something similar) even the own doctor left me on hold to only hang up just to make a simple appointment. Elizabeth, the “manager” of the office laughed on the phone when I said I needed to speak to a doctor not a manager. Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL - I will not recommend this office.

I agree with many of the previous comments regarding poor customer and quality of service. Upon calling to schedule my appointment for my annual check up I was told that my insurance would not allow an appointment prior to the last date of service that I had with the doctor. After calling the insurance company myself I found that that was not accurate, my insurance would cover the annual check up at any time during the year. So not only did I wait until the end of the year to come in, but now after extremely poor scheduling I have to try to find a new doctor before getting kicked off of my parents insurance and with 13 days left in the year. I am so infuriated with the staff and tie management sat the office as I sat and waited for an hour for them to tell me that there were still two patients ahead of me! UNPROFESSIONAL and I will not be back, nor will I recommend a friend to ever visit this facility.

I went to go visit this doctor today, and they were not what I thought. I seen a different doctor about two years ago and she was fabulous. However, I went to go visit this doctor and he was horrible. I felt like I wasted my time. I was told by the emergency room to go see my gynecologist right away and so I did. When arriving, the staff was pleasant but the doctor was rude and said he couldn’t help me even though I was in pain. Would never go see this doctor ever again. I literally left his office in tears.

The doctors and medical assistants are very knowledgeable and kind. The reception staff, however, is extremely rude and unprofessional. I’ve had to call over 12 times over the course of 2 months in regards to the status of my birth control. Every conversation we had they’ve stated they were going to call me back but never have. When I follow up they have attitudes and tell me I need to wait. My prescription was supposed to be ready the first week or so of June, it is now approaching August. Ridiculous.

I Love be Dr Luchs he is very informative, listens carefully to all you want to say. He sends you to the right places to get checked and his staff is impeccable. They are very courteous, gentle spoken, help you with all your needs and are very patient. He is blessed to have such a great staff. I recommend going there and visiting with any of his co-workers as well, he has other Gynocologist that work in his office who are awesome as well.

Why did I not see these reviews before I went to see him?? First of all most of the staff is absolutely horrific. Theyre so rude and uncaring I dont know why they work in this field. The doctor however is nice, except I just got the bill for all the lab tests and a big portion is not covered by insurance. It would actually be worth it though if going on birth control had helped my acne as I had hoped. But nope, my skin is worse than it has ever been, I had to deal with the rude and aggressive staff, and now I have to deal with the insane bill. Wow worst doctor experience ever, I think I would have been much better off at a planned parenthood.

I’ve been a patient for 10+ years and the office staff has been on a steady decline since moving to the Edgewater office. Different nurses every visit (some of which aren’t familiar with gynecological issues or anatomy when described) and a clueless clerical staff. Billing was outsourced years ago and now scheduling is outsourced as well. The hours have been cut back. Even after moving out of Hudson County I made the commute because I trusted the doctor, but the staff just keeps going from bad to worse. I’m not sticking around to see what rock bottom looks like.

The doctor does not really listen to what I am saying regarding birth control. He kept trying to tell me to take the pill or get an IUD when I made it clear I am not comfortable with either. I requested the nexplanon. He kept saying okay we will get you the IUD and even the nurse reminded him that was not what I wanted. He is not up with the times. I may request to be seen by the other doctor in the office, instead.

I only went here about 4 times and every single time I had the same bad experience . the first time was to make a appointment to get a basic check up to see if I was eligible for the IUD. The front desk lady told me that I have to call to make an appointment once I have an appointment she is going to check if they take my insurance. Otherwise if I dont have an appointment she cant tell me if they take UnitedHealthcare. I came in about two weeks later with an appointment waiting for 45mins to get called to see the doctor. The doctor did a basic check up and told me that I was eligible for the IUD. But the IUD has to be ordered and that I should be receiving a called to see if my insurance is going to be covered the IUD and once the IUD arrived in the office I was going to get a call to make a other appointment to have it inserted. A couple days later I got that called and said they were going to send the IUD to the doctors office is going takes about two to three weeks for the IUD to arrive at the office. They gave me the tracking number of my order for the IUD. I waited and I saw that the IUD have arrived in office but I still havent received a call from the doctors to make an appointment and letting me know that the IUD had arrived. I waited 2 or 3 days more then I decided to call the office to make an appointment to get the IUD inserted. The lady at the office told me that IUD hasnt arrived yet. They going to give me a call once It arrived. I explained to her to please check once again if my IUD has arrived she said if she checked and she doesnt have it in the office. I explained to her that I have a tracking number from UPS and stated that the IUD had arrived. I got a little worried because she couldnt find it and I thought somebody else got it and sign for it. That same day got out of work during my lunch hour and I drove to the office with the printed tracking number. I went inside the office and show them the tracking number then they started looking for it and she was looking around her office and then she said that she found it. I was pretty mad at that point because number one they didnt give me a call when IOD arrive in the office number two because when I called them to double-check they didnt check for me I had to come that same day had to take my time to come to the office to show them to prove them that I have a tracking number and the tracking number said it arrived. After that I asked the lady to make an appointment she said that she cannot make it that I have to call to make an appointment I was like are you serious so I called to make an appointment when I call to make the appointment the girl told me all the IUD hasnt it arrived there I told her that I went to the office just a few mins ago and they confirm that they found the ID. The girl that makes the appointment put me on hold and had to call the office and double check if what I was saying was true once she talked to someone at the doctors office she told me that shes booked for the whole month until next month I told her I need to get my IUD inserted right away because my period already started but I need it for this week she said she cannot overbook I asked her if I could speak to her supervisor I spoke to her supervisor and her Supervisor was able to overbook for the inconvenience. I had an appointment for the IUD to get inserted it took about 30 to see the doctor but i waited. The doctor told me that I have to make follow up appointment after a month later to see if the IUD was in place. Two and a half weeks later after I got my IUD inserted I called to make an appointment because I didnt want for them to be overbook the following month and not be able to make an appointment they told me that they dont have to schedule for next month and that I have to wait by the end of the month to make an appointment I called back and I finally was able to make another appointment. My appointment was at 11:30am it took 2 hours to see the doctor. And took 2 mins for the doctor to check me. The doctor are good but stuff are rude, unprofessional.

I just called they I stated I needed to come in as soon as possible they said we are all booked for July call us back in June!! Okayyyyy definetly not a place to make as your primary gynecologist.

I needed to see the dr. Right away because of a urgency and they turned me away saying I cant see a dr. Until April and its only February 😂😂😂... This is gynecology not a facial ... The receptionist was rude about it ., as if my life is a joke..,
